  1. figure i'll put something here while waiting for the war chat, but i gotta ask, are you really this delusional? 1. you're listing off groups as combatants that never even agreed to join, as az'adar is pointing out 2. nobody ever gave you permission to play a tundrak so you can drop that **** lmao 3. you have 0 cb's against fenn (which ive told you repeatedly) but rather than deconstruct your misplaced claims here ill just wait for the war chat seriously dude quit wasting everyone's time lmao
  2. lol this'll be a quick war chat Aeldrin#9163
  3. +1, looks like a solid fix to an important issue within the orcish playerbase
  4. There are exactly 0 Snow Elves associated with any current nations other than Fenn, with the exception of a couple of randos hanging with a freebuild or two. The gates are always shut because 90% of our rp is among ourselves and the culture isn't particularly hospitable to outsiders. If you wanna continue talking about our activity with me that's cool but you should probably do it over pm's, as we're now just derailing this thread
  5. you're confusing angry with mildly annoyed im going to take a hot second and list the most basic reasons why this is a bad idea 1. too similar to an existing subrace 2. mountain dwarves are already like this 3. it took snow elves 3-4 years of active existence with pretty solid numbers to get subracialhood. expecting that after a day of founding a 4-man freebuild "kingdom" is absurd 4. a dwarven clan under ziko called the snowborn already exist, who are a clan native to wintery regions that have experienced some minor physical alterations in order to adapt 5. you're literally just pulling a "what if dwarves were snow elves". you really cant deny that seeing as half your posts mention how you apparently chose land right next to fenn 6. i see no popular appeal for this and i think youre gonna get that this is pretty unpopular soon enough 7. there are already 4 dwarven subraces. taking that up to 5 is stretching the race way too thin 8. this isn't even a lore piece, you basically just made a post saying "yeah we should do this" 9. the only differences between snow dwarves and other dwarves is that they have white hair and are bigger. you havent even laid out the basis of a culture 10. no lol dude where are you getting this from. we almost always have people rping in the city
  6. lmao is that the music from cod modern warfare 2 when the russians invade
  7. Aelthir scrawls an "F" on the nearest poster.
  8. "I'd pay you like a brick and a half," decides Aelthir.
  9. finally i can roleplay on my favorite minecraft server as hillary clinton
  10. Explain to me how this rewrite affects the eventline that Wyrvun was apart of. This is not an attempt to overrule what was already written and established, but to further flesh him out. It's like you haven't even read the actual lore piece. In your time on LotC, you've proceeded to take Wyrvun as a personal deity of your char Zahrer, getting Wyrvun removed from the Brathmordakin so that you could sit around with your MART that allows you to talk with Wyrvun. You've been using him as your personal deity and counter this lore only because you see it is a threat to that, despite barely even playing this server anymore. That's genuinely disgusting.
  11. Seeing as we have ambitions for the development of an eventual Wyrvunic deity magic and actual use of Wyrvun in roleplay and at some potential point events, Wyrvun as a deity actually needs to be fleshed out. The 3.0 eventline was brilliant, but Wyrvun's lore only exists in relation to that. Outside of that eventline, he is nothing. He needs fleshed out beliefs, stances, attributes, and further histories. I don't see why you're opposed to a piece of lore that only fleshes out an Aengul and gives him actual use on the server, as opposed to letting him rot away. Furthermore, we were told that unless something was done, Wyrvun would be shelved. I don't see how you don't get that.
  12. The Snow Elven culture has worshiped Wyrvun since 3.0. I'd say that's plenty of cultural development into the religion. Your suggestion would uproot 3-4 years of Snow Elven cultural practices, and it's literally in the lore that Wyrvun created the Snow Elves. Who else would the Snow Elves worship other than their creator? This isn't about the religion so much as the fact that nobody can make an in-depth religion based off of Wyrvun when basically no information exists about Wyrvun except that which relates to the 3.0 eventline.
  13. Current lore on Wyrvun is incredibly minimal. Yes, accounts exist in relation to the turn of Wyrvun into Ondnarch, and the subsequent eventline. Other than that, nothing at all has been written about Wyrvun, outside of the context of the eventline occurrences from 3.0. There's a reason the Lore Team was preparing to shelve him, as we've been told. Edel and I have been working on an official written religion based around Wyrvun for the Snow Elves, and literally had to stop because he's not nearly fleshed out enough to base an entire religion on. Aside from his fall and redemption, nothing is written about him, from which no values and beliefs can actually be derived. This rewrite is an absolute necessity if Wyrvun is to actually be used in roleplay, instead of locked away as some out-used deity until the Lore Team puts him out of his mercy by shelving him. Edel's phrasing is taken from the very writings about Wyrvun that you directed him to. Nobody is understating the Dwarven significance of Wyrvun's purification. Wyrvun's address as listed in what you gave Edel mentioned the non-Dwarven forces that participated in the conflict. I never claimed to be a leader? I only ever claimed that I played an antag - which I did. And, I only brought it up as proof that I was there.
  14. I was literally there on a Snow Elf with several other Snow Elves. I also played an antag of the Ondnarch Eventline. Additionally present were rallies from Oren, Malinor, and the Orcs.
  15. Well-written, great concepts, and clarifies a lot of things on Wyrvun that were previously left unanswered, while fleshing him out far better than was previously done. It's perfect.
