  1. *Jemain accidentily inhales the smoke that was blown, and attempts to talk while coughing.* "Sounds like a *cough* fair deal!" ((Where do you want to meet?))
  2. *Jemain frowns, overhearing the mans words.* "Ahh, I see. As I said, I don't know of the bows value or power, but I was hoping it would be worth something."
  3. *A man approaches many people in all the main city squares, attempting to sell a "Black Iron Bow"* "I have found this bow laying around, I do not know much of it's value or power, but feel free to make an offer!" *He holds the bow out for all to examine.*
  4. *Jemain reads over the note, and begins editing the posters he has put up, to fit the law accordingly.*
  5. *Jemain looks back to the imposter, and realizes it isn't the real Lord High Treasurer.* "Thank you sir, I almost believed this man." *Jemain then quickly starts putting the posters back up in Abresi.*
  6. *begins taking the posters down, worried that the Lord High Treasurer might evict him.*
  7. *Jemain overhears the man yelling in Abresi, and approaches him.* "I was told by the inspector that I could do this, I had ask his permission beforehand. If you want I will take the posters down."
  8. *Jemain view's the mans offer((I assume it is written?)) and decides to wait and see if more offers come in.*
  9. *Many posters are put up in all major cities, including the orc "pinky settlement"* "A medium sized, beautiful smithy for rent in the Abresi Docks. You might need to renovate slightly, but most materials are already set up. Includes a fire pit, and two furnaces. Right next to a soon to be gambling house/miscellaneous item shop, so many potential customers will be brought your way. Price is negotiable. Send a bird to Jemain Clayton((Parading_bull)) if interested." *Multiple accurate scetches are drawn.*
  10. So, I am probablt setting up a gambling hall in the Abresi Docks, for a couple reasons, one being to bring RP back to Abresi Docks. I just wanted to know if people are interested in a gambling hall?

Sure! There're people who wander around the city offering gambles to people, but I haven't seen a casino in a while.

Anyways, do you guys think people might be interested in a gambling hall at abresi docks? I would hate for it to become abandoned. I plan on starting rp there tommorow.by

  12. There needs to be more RP in the Abresi Docks.

  13. Would it be too stupid/unrealistic to make a goblin character that was found, and adopted by a noble house?

Technically it's against the law for noble houses to adopt.

  14. Thanks, I am just realizing it is somewhat like Elder Scrolls pick locking. It is pretty needed when there are people out there doing one emote lock picks. Thanks.
  15. Yes, all role play I believe should be detailed. However this post was more so made to show this specific detailed strategy, not to illustrate that all RP should be detailed(even though you really could see it as both, as I am now realizing). Yup, that is why I made this guide. Thanks, means a lot!
  16. Thanks! I don't like using colors though, too much pressure to find the right color that won't hurt peoples eyes, and that won't be copying somebody elses color :/ EDIT: Attempted to add color, despite pressure.
  17. So, I decided to make this post today after I saw person do this: *takes out a lock pick, and begins picking the lock* /roll 20 There is no excuse for one emote lock picking. I am not going to say I am amazing at lock picking RP, but I have gotten multiple compliments on my RP in this field. Alright, so here is the strategy I use, for good lock picking RP, that can be different every time, but still generally the same strategy. So you can start out with one emote, simply pulling out the lockpick, but attempt to make it slightly detailed. EX. *Jemain Clayton opens his bag, and begins looking for the best possible lockpick, for this specific lock he has examined* Next enter the lock, and begin simply fiddling around to get passed what I call the "first sub-section" EX. *Jemain Clayton gets the pick into the lock, and begins fiddling around, in very randomized motiens in order to break past the first sub-section.* Make one more emote of you fiddling until you hear a click. EX. *Jemain Clayton continues to move the pick in random directions, sometimes struggling to move the pick, until he finally hears a click.* Now if you want more detail, express that your character is happy that he broke through the first subsection, but is also expecting a more difficult experience now that he has passed it. EX. *Jemain Clayton smiles, then mumbles in a very quiet manner "Now for the hard part." Here is where you can make the emotes more dynamic, by moving your lock pick in certain specific patters original to each lock. However for the first emote, try to stress that you have now slowed down the process, and are much more carefull with your movements. EX. *Jemain Clayton begins moving the lock pick much slower, and in a more strategic fashion. Now here is where you will emote specific movements, whatever pattern or way you wish to move the lock pick, do it, but try and make it original to each lock. Most of the time you should make yourself fail the first couple tries, but every once and a while you can make this portien one emote. Usually due to failure, the lock pick will bend, but you could do other things to represent failure of that movement. EX. *Jemain Clayton moves the lock pick to the upper right corner very slowly, but the lock pick starts to bend, so he quickly pulls it back to the middle.* So now do another slow careful movement that is specific to this lock, and succeed this time. *Jemain Clayton very carefully maneuvers the lock pick in a full circular motien, he thinks he hears a click, but is not sure.* To represent the roll, I usually do *he thinks he hears a click, but is not sure* but there are multiple other ways to represent the roll also. So, I used about 7 example emotes there, but if you understand the process you could do 5-10 emotes depending on the lock. Hopefully this helps you beginners/one emote lock pickers out there!

  22. Can't believe I never knew you could make Steam money by selling things in TF2. Pretty Damn cool.

  23. I want to make a thread dedicated to ranting about how **** 1.6.2 is. People seem to be blaming the servers owners/providers, for all the problems, when it is really the Minecraft devs that screwed up. The update barely contributed anything new anyway, and yet they managed to create far more bugs then any other update I have seen.
