THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA The Empress of Britannia stood on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Since the assassination of her father, practically invisible bulletproof plexiglass had been installed on the balcony so as to protect her and future monarchs from harm. She began her speech, at long last ready to reveal a secret that had been kept from the public ever since the death of her father. "Hail, Citizens of Britannia. Today, I fear that I must reveal a secret to the public with the creation of Atlantis Colony on Europa. If the British government does not reveal it now, it will inevitably be revealed by the civilians in Atlantis as it grows and expands every day. Earth..." She pauses, looking at her notes as she curls her lip. "We've found the remains of a civilization beneath the waters of Europa that was much more advanced than that of our own, thousands of years old... Older than Mesopotamia, China, or even the Indus Valley. Older than any recorded civilization of Earth." The people begin to murmur to each other nervously and confusedly. In a single moment, the entire world had shocked as they watched global television, the revelation of human life existing outside of the blue marble known as Earth shocking them. "Over two and a half millennia ago, a philosopher named Plato described an advanced civilization that lived thousands of years before his time. It combatted the ancient world, and apparently ruled over most of humankind before they met their demise in a great flood. Perhaps this city was built by the pre-flood civilization spoken of in the Abrahamic religions. Or perhaps it is a precursor civilization to own civilizations; perhaps history didn't actually begin at the point where history is recorded. All we know for certain is that Atlantis is not a myth. It is real. Should God will it, we shall unveil Atlantis's mysteries; our scientists, already, have deciphered their language, and we are currently mapping out the sunken city. Hopefully, we shall find historical records of some sort that point to whatever disaster befell Atlantis so many years ago. There are certainly mysteries in our universe that must be uncovered; and Britannia shall spearhead the world in doing such. We are the kings of space, and are one of the most powerful and influential nations on the planet. The Sun Never Sets on the British Empire." The crowd remains silent for a long while, almost 7 seconds in fact. Then a single voice cries out, "Long live Laura, Empress of Atlantis!" "LONG LIVE THE EMPRESS OF ATLANTIS!" The crowd slowly replies, shouting one by one until they finally all shout in unison. They were angry with the government keeping such a large secret from them, but most understood that it was a matter of national security. And so they returned to their daily lives, pretending as though nothing had ever happened as they enjoyed the new air filters that had been installed in the British Home Isles. ----------------------- There is a revived interest in space with the unveiling of the Atlantis secret. Of course, the British had to take proper percautions in the revealing of Atlantis. They remind all nations that the Jovian Moon Europa is a British Territory, and that any foreign landings on the moon unauthorized by the Imperium Britannia would result in forced removal by the Europan Brigade in Atlantis Colony and/or the destruction of their ship. Europa is heavily armed and always on constant alert with it's VI defense system. Construction on the new Orion-Moduled motherships, now referred to as Jovian Clipper Class Frigates, continues in orbit around Victoria Station, due to be completed in about a year's timeframe. ((3 Turns)) However, the HMS Jovian Clipper has been refitted and armored, and begins to travel with the Europan interplanetary shuttle convoys as it patrols the British possessions in the solar system. Fighters and defense systems are always on the lookout for an enemy strike at Victoria, and defenses are even further fortified with extra LION cannons and fighters out of fear of a foreign attack. Meanwhile, on Mars, astronauts have been busy fortifying their base and exploring the surface as they begin to investigate more of the ruins. The astronauts have two primary missions: find valuable resources on Mars and set up an automated mining operation, and learn more about the strange intelligently made structures on the planet. Their current, flawed hypothesis is that they are remnants of the Atlantis civilization, the strange shadows being the shadows on the ruins being of the Atlantian people. ​ Teams of British astronauts and drones begin to look about the rest of their immediate area, searching the various ruins surrounding it. They travel in teams of two, a scientist and a soldier each, so as to maximize the search area. ((Mod Please on Expedition Results for Resources and Ruins)) On Europa's Atlantis Colony, the colonists continue to settle in as more and more people are chosen via application and reviewal by the British government to settle the planet. The colony is completely self sustainable, and domes had been constructed in hopes of being able to terraform the desolate Europa landscape under the domes someday. However, the expedition continues it's mission, now with a larger amount of manpower. Scientists continue to travel to Atlantis, now attempting to do two major things: loot the city's banks of all their platinum, gold, and silver, and attempt to recover historical records from the libraries of Atlantis so as to appease the questions from the British public as to exactly what happened to Atlantis. -------------------------- The British begin to assist in the building of the Argentine asteroid base, providing Churchill fighters (under British control, of course), scientists, personnel, weapons, and building machines sent via automated shuttles to help set up the base in exchange for a large resource stake on the asteroid(s). -------------------------- Certain technologies are being developed for usage in space by the British government and allies. The British begin to assist the Argentines in their research on Terraforming, attempting to speed up the project for usage in British colonies. As the British government works with Orion on the Cold Fusion project, they also attempt to contemplate designs for a Cold Fusion Engine parallel with the research into Cold Fusion. ((Mod Please)) The British also begin to construct a space station in orbit around Europa, naming it Starbase New Capetown. ((Mod Please)) The British also attempt to create more and more interplanetary shuttles to supply their numerous possessions, modifying the new version of the shuttles slightly to boast a defensive LION turret and greater cargo capacity. The British also attempt to create an upgraded version of the Churchill fighter, designed purely for space combat so as to counter the star-fighter construction and research by other nations. ((Mod Please)) ------------------- Finally, as the skies over Britannia become more and more cleansed of the deadly radiation clouds by the day, death rates begin to drop and agriculture begins to do somewhat better in the British European possessions. Tens of thousands of soldiers, who had left the British Armed Forces to tend to their families, now begin to reenlist in the Imperium's armed forces. They gather in Iberia, as Imperial Military High Command considers diverting troops to assist their Italian and Greek comrades. Permission is also given to the Greeks to establish their moon base; however, Britannia notes that although they are the most powerful of the extraterrestrial powers, they do not always have a complete say in the matter. However, there is still plenty of land left on the moon for them to be able to stake their claim. The British do, however, suggest that they locate their colony close to their claim of land, so that they might work together as Greater Europa nations to claim moon supremacy.

THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA +=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ The Imperial Grand Army of the Imperium Britannia marches into Gibraltar, uncontested as they crush the rare pockets of pro-Muslim defenders in the country. The assault on Gibraltar had gone extremely well; the Muslims had been crushed, and the black flag of the Islamic Caliphate was torn off of the flagpole of the naval base at Gibraltar and the Union Jack was raised over the British Overseas Territory once again. 150,000 soldiers of the Iberian Royal Army branch of the Grand Imperial Army begin to create a line of defensive fortifications along the southern and Mediterranean shores of Iberia, clearly expecting some sort of Muslim counterattack in the near future. Artillery batteries, microwave lasers, and LION systems are installed in these fortifications, the British government intending to make the south of Iberia into a wall that would make any Muslim invasion of the peninsula disastrously costly in both resources and in lives. Notably, German Anti-Aircraft Mk. II weapons would also be installed in Southern Iberia almost immediately along with the Austalian VI, so as to turn any air attack on Iberia into suicide. The greatest of these forts, of course, would be in Gibraltar, as refugees from the city prepare to move back to their long-lost homes. The British would install every defensive precaution in the Gibraltar fortifications; they would not underestimate the Caliphate again, nor would they be caught off-guard for the next time somebody attempted to invade Iberia. The rest of the Imperium forces guard the southern shores of Iberia as the system of fortifications is created, awaiting further orders from their superiors. ---------------------- Meanwhile, the British navy has rallied in the Azores, and the First Lord of the Admiralty has planned out a battle strategy for the war at sea. The Royal Navy dispatches a sizable fleet from the Azores, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Western France, sailing through the Straight of Gibraltar. The CSA had recently finished helping the British to retrofit the Royal Navy, making it one of the most modern fleets in the world. The Aircraft Carriers HMS Excalibur and HMS Portuguese Stinger would be amongst the ships of the fleet, heavily guarded by the fleet's numerous frigates, corvettes, submarines, and destroyers. ((Outdated ships, I know, but the picture was too majestic...)) British forces in Iberia shell the other side of the straight in Morocco with rockets and artillery out of pure paranoia to protect the fleet's movements, although they are careful to be sure that the CSA and the NCR are not in the way. Microwave lasers and LION cannons, integrated with the Australian VI, would most likely easily shoot down any missiles from ships or planes that were launched at them throughout their expedition. 35,000 British soldiers (Royal Marines), having met with and joined the fleet at Gibraltar, would attempt to make a landing to invade the Caliphate-held Mallorca Islands to the East of Iberia. After the highly-advanced British fleet shells the islands and commences air attacks on the island from fleet carriers and air bases in Iberia and France, of course. LION batteries and Union microwave lasers would fire upon any Caliphate ships in their way, in most likelihood sinking the aging ships of their navy. British destroyers and frigates, armed with their helpful anti-stealth submarine technology, are always on the lookout for Turkish submarines around the clock, and the Australian VI would always be online, ready to target the rumored skimmers that had crippled the other European naval forces. If the British were successful in landing their marines safely on these islands, they would then move to the east of the island chain to engage the Islamic Navy near Corsica/Sardinia with their advanced naval forces and hopefully give the Italians a chance to strike at them. Missiles launched by the Caliphate, air or sea at the ships, would be knocked out of the sky by the British en-ship microwave and LION defenses, for the most part. Churchill fighters would be scrambled from the aircraft carriers in an attempt to struggle for air superiority and to sink as many Islamic ships as possible. VIs would be prepared to encounter Islamic speedboats with incredible accuracy, making targeting calculations in a matter of milliseconds. The microwave lasers would be used to attempt to disable parts of Islamic ships, and LIONs would tear across the hulls of the enemy's navy as traditional naval batteries and missile turrets open fire in unison. The rest of the British fleet gathers near the Azores, carefully spacing their ships out amongst the islands of the island chain in the event of a surprise attack of some sort of by a foreign power, so as to avoid an Atlantic slaughter. This is done so as to guard the Greater Imperium of Europa from a Caliphate naval attack, should their navy whip back around and decide to attempt to return to the Mediterranean Sea. The British call upon the USAC and the CSA to dispatch ships to the Azores, in order to help the British create a stable Atlantic force capable of fending off any Caliphate attack should they decide to whip around and strike back at the Atlantic. In the invasion of Mallorca, the British would have also deployed, in VERY small numbers, a number of attack gunships and helicopters, armed with the same preferred weaponry never before seen fighting within the British ranks... When used against the Muslim defenders of these islands, their effects would be devastating. ---------------------- In Russia, the British special forces that had come to help guard the city's borders had been scouting around for quite some time now, content with their border positions in Stalingrad. Wearing radiation suits, they explored the wastes, searching for Russian laboratories... just a single one would do. And eventually, they found one. Bringing the computers of the laboratory back online, all that the British wanted to take was what was theirs. What had been wrongly stolen from them so many years ago... They wanted Project RAPTOR and Project LION. The SAS hacker smiled as he hacked into the Russian systems. After several minutes of browsing, he finally found what he was looking for, and downloaded the completed files to both projects. "We'd best get these back to London, lads." He said as he removed his mobile hard-drive from the computer, tucking it under his arms. The soldiers vacated the area, leaving everything as it was. They send the plans back to London via one of their C-130s, where they are put to good use in hurriedly creating prototypes for deployment and battle testing in the Mediterranean. -------------------------- The British were slightly annoyed that the Greeks and the South Americans were copying their energy rifle concept. No matter. They were still the masters of energy weapon technology. And with the receieval of a new sort of extremely high-capacity battery from an anonymous source, they would prove it by starting yet a new project related to energy weaponry: LION II. LION II would consolidate everything the British had learned about energy weapons technology into a powerful, mobile and mounted weapon akin to a machine gun or a chain gun, rapidly firing high-powered LIONCUB bolts. The concept was to shread enemy infantry to pieces with this new weapon, as well as enemy vehicles. It might even be employed in space fighters and on Victoria Station upon it's completion. ​((Mod Please to legitimize and state number of pages)) The new battery will also be put to use in order to create greater clip sizes for LIONCUB rifles. For a while now, the British have also been receiving nanites from the South American Federation. They intend to program these nanites to repair vehicles and other machinery automatically. The British also intend to program these nanites to save lives in hospitals, both civilian and military alike. If they're lucky, they might even be able to find a way to repair irradiated tissue, reducing deaths caused by the radiation clouds over Europe... ((Mod Please)) The British begin to create plans to make a new suit of infantry armor as well, with even their KCBA Suit Mk. II being quickly surpassed by the new Asian nano armors. ((To be discussed with a mod)) ------------------------ Finally, shipments of new air scrubbers to remove the radiation clouds over British land are received from the Order of St. George! After paying a large sum of money to the Order, St. Georgemen install the machines in British France, Iberia, and the United Kingdom; the British sincerely hope that these air scrubbers will help to eliminate the sickness and famine that has befallen their part of Europe. The Empress of Britannia, also, makes a short visit with her husband to Southern Iberia. They visit Fatima, notably, and decide to divert government funds to rebuild/renovate the famous Christian holy place, which was most likely either destroyed in the Great War for Iberia, or was torn down during Muslim rule. To help support British industry, the large industrial system of Iberia created by King Alfonso is put to good use to use materials recieved from allies in order to make new war supplies. ---------------------------- The NCR spy in Britannia is quickly accepted into the academy, and graduates with high honors from Sandhurst Imperial Legionary Academy. In recent years, the British have been accepting more and more Iberians into the Empress's army, as their fighting force is much more prestigious than the Iberian Royal Army, perfectly acceptable as Iberia was an honorary member of the British Commonwealth. She is forced into active service just as the invasion of Iberia breaks out, serving as the aide of a high ranking General. But not just any General. She was serving under Field Marshal Lord Nicholas Parker the II, the Supreme Commander of the British Army, who had inherited his title from his legendary father, and had an equal resume amongst the international community due to all of his military successes in the past under his command. He is a charming man, used to pulling political strings and bending received orders to his whim, and was a hero of World War IV. The British government loved him, and he loved his people as well. He is known as "The Lion" affectionately by the Empress, a nickname highly accepted in the media. She performs many tasks for him, and has apparently, for the most part, gained his trust. However, she still only holds the rank of a 1st Lieutenant, and isn't included in confidential staff meetings or in any meetings with Greater Europa's Military High Command,​ and therefore, her knowledge is fairly limited, although she would find out that the British Army doesn't have the numbers that it wishes it possessed, though this would be remedied soon with the introduction of the new air scrubbers.

Although they frown upon the Order taking tax money from them, the British government figures that the Order is providing so much for them in the way of military assistance and aid that they could afford to overlook the tax haven. This, and the fact that they were already paying large sums of money to the British government, satisfied the British. Orion is offered land to construct a space bridge in the open countryside of Ireland, near Britannia Space Command. The Empress of Britannia, although exhausted from recently returning to London, agrees to watch the battle reenactment in America alongside the President, leaving affairs once again completely in the hands of Prime Minister Lord George Lancaster. In Antarctica, the situation is largely irrelevant to the British as they are not in TRAC, and there is little that they can do to defuse the situation. However, they would most likely accept refugees from the neighboring territories if things went awry. ---------------- Meanwhile, in German Guiana, a secret project researched by both British and German scientists finally comes to light. The project had been strenuous, and had been underway for many years now, but finally, it had been completed. In secret, the British government, in tight cooperation and with assistance from the German government, had been working together to experiment with cloning technology. From the armies of the Imperium Britannia, two of the best soldiers were selected to be cloned. One was Major Edward Oswald of the newly renamed British Royal Army, the now British Imperial Legion. Major Oswald was a veteran of the Great Iberian War, and had distinguished himself in both British Normandy and later Iberia as one of the greatest strategic combat minds and fighters in the Royal Army. He had also participated in operations on board Victoria Station, and in the British Antarctic Territory. Another was Colonel Filipa Maria dos Santos Sousa of the Iberian Royal Army. One of the Kingdom's finest, she had proved herself as a Private in the Great Iberian War, and had participated in almost every major military and special forces operation that Iberia and the United Kingdom had requested of her. She had also been lent to the British MI-6 agency for a time to help root out some particularly nasty Confederate firebrands behind the scenes of the political world. Both had, willingly, consented to a series of tests by the British and German scientists in Guiana in the name of patriotism and of the defense of Greater Europa, although more specifically of the United Kingdom and Iberia. Of course, there was some tampering in both soldiers' genetic sequences before the actual cloning process had begun. Genetic defects and diseases that Edward and Filipa possessed were removed and replaced with positive gene sequences to ensure the dormancy of these traits. Roughly 15,000 enhanced copies of Edward and 5,000 enhanced copies of Filipa were all created, educated, and raised in exactly the same fashions in secret facilities within German Guiana with an emphasis on combat and strategic skills in their studies. Of course, they were also brainwashed with undying loyalty to the United Kingdom and to the Imperium Britannia, as well as to Parliament and the Empress. They would die before they betrayed the Imperium; it was branded into their skulls that to betray the Imperium was to betray democracy and humanity. However, they were allowed to develop their own personalities, their own beliefs and thoughts. For the clones had to be able to think for themselves during combat, or else they could not function without the help of conventional officers. If they exhibited a specific interest towards something, they would be given the opportunity to apply to be, say, a medic or a combat engineer if that was what interested them. Clones were also allowed to choose their own names, although they would be addressed by their assigned number during combat as they might otherwise become confusing to their comrades due to the fact that they share the exact same physical appearances. After their educational courses, the clones would be physically trained by some of the best officers in the Imperium. Targeting practice, survival training, thinking skills, interrogation resistance, track, and weight lifting would all be major activities that they would partake in. They would be able to prove themselves during combat, earn promotions and medals such. They would be able to take off-duty shifts, just as any regular soldier would be able to do. They would even, if approved individually by the government, be allowed to retire from military service and live a civilian life after 15 years of combat. However, most clones are sterile, and are unable to biologically produce children. There are a few exceptions to this rule, as cloning isn't always 100% accurate, but this is true for the most part, a side effect of the cloning process. More clones would be trained in Guiana, but only enough to replace their fallen or retired comrades. The British government wishes to keep the amount of clones on the battlefield confined to a small number. And now, a small army of clones was finally ready to be deployed in Iberia. All 20,000 of these soldiers, literally bred for the purpose of combat, begin to make their appearance on the battlefield as a unit; they would be organized into the 2nd Knights Division, meant to serve as an elite force alongside the non-clone 1st Knights Division and the skilled British Foreign Legion. As their division advances in Iberia, they would prove devastatingly effective on the battlefield. They had much more discipline, much more tolerance, and much less fear than the average soldier, and were sure to soon prove themselves in combat against the Muslims. ------------------- The British colony on the moon, Nova Sol, has finally been completed, boasting a population of about a thousand men, women, and children who, like the Atlantian colonists, had fled Earth to escape the radiation clouds of Europe. It is primarily intended to be a scientific colony and a tourist attraction. The British government creates several new interplanetary shuttles with life support purely for the purpose of transporting tourists to and from the moon, which they can board at Victoria Station after docking with it via commercial space plane. The British charge about 250 Pounds a ticket, roughly about as much as a transatlantic flight would cost. The British appeal to their own citizens, as well as to richer citizens from Germany, the UEDI, Australia, South Africa, the USAC, and several other closely allied/aligned countries. Defensive microwave lasers, missile launchers, and LION cannons are installed in a defense-grid setting around the colony in the same manner that was done in Atlantis on Europa. Tourist activities on at Nova Sol include moon golf in it's low gravity, EVA walking on the moon's surface, and of course, lying under a terraformed greenhouse dome, looking up at the beautiful gem that is Earth. THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA The Imperium Britannia had sat on the sidelines way, way too long. All was quiet at the demilitarized zone in Muslim Iberia. And then it wasn't. 500,000 soldiers, spearheaded by the fearsome British Foreign Legion filled with revenge-hungry Israelies, and the elite Imperial Knights Regiment, from the British Royal Army and the Iberian Army, armed with enhanced King Charles Body Armor Mk. II and LIONCUB rifles, along with elements of the 3rd Norman Army from France, supported by about 5,000 EMUs, 7,000 Challenger Tanks equipped with LIONs, 12,000 SPGs equipped with LIONs, and 8,000 artillery pieces, charge over the demilitarized zone and into Iberia. Supply lines follow the invasion force as they proceed through the peninsula, guarded in the air above by German Anti-Aircraft weaponry, Mk. I and II alike. The EMUs are enhanced with American anti-missile microwave systems received from the Union years ago in an attempt to counter anti-EMU hardware. Churchill fighters soar overhead, armed with conventional missiles, attached EMP launchers, LION energy weapons, and a chain-gun each, all guided by the famous Australian VI, which was programmed to be deleted upon crash or fatal impact with an enemy weapon. They launch a series of pinpoint German EMPs into the Caliphate front lines, attempting to disrupt their anti-air grid long enough for the Churchills to destroy their defensive grid. The Churchills clash with the new TAI-fighters of the Caliphate, about equally matched as they engage in a battle for air superiority over the skies of Iberia. However, the British, in most likelihood, would have the advantage; for most of the Caliphate fighters were engaged in combat in Africa. There would, in most likelihood, be little in the way of Caliphate airpower over the Iberian skies. The British would press onwards through Iberia, attempting to seize as much land as possible from the Caliphate in an attempt to liberate the Iberian people once and for all as they take advantage of the situation in the south. Their initial main targets would include Toledo and several other major border towns, though they would obviously proceed further if they encountered little resistance. They call for all Iberians to rise up against their Muslim Opressors, and support the Imperial Grand Army in their liberation! ((Mod Please)) Britannia calls on Germany to move to attack Iberia with their own troops stationed along the border. The Royal Navy, for what it's worth, has also been fully retrofitted and super modernized with the help of the CSA, as they move to secure British possessions in the Atlantic and guard them and various cargo transports from foreign naval attacks. The Hong Kong Defense Force is always vigilant, and the British government states that they have no wish to combat the Japanese nor the Chinese, who had been friends with them for a while. They state that they shall maintain their agreement, and will not combat Chinese nor Japanese troops under any circumstances during this war. For it was a war, for them, to free the oppressed Iberians under Muslim rule; nothing more, nothing less. The British also agree to make a request of the Slavic Union and Germany, on behalf of the Russian Remnants: They wish to relieve them of many of the Russian refugees in Kalingrad, and arrange for British transportation to send them on their way to New Stalingrad. ------------------ The colony on Europa has been completed, the first civilian stronghold of the Imperium Britannia in space! It is armed to the teeth, filled with missile launchers and LION energy cannons, as well as microwave lasers, operated by the Australian VI. Major electronics are protected within faraday cages. The colony, roughly, numbers about 1000 people, mostly refugees from British Europe wishing to escape the radiation clouds. Their primary purpose is to mine the various resources on the moon, which were helping to find the other endeavours of the British government. THE EXISTANCE OF THE PRECOURSOR CIVILIZATION SHALL BE REVEALED WITHIN A MATTER OF WEEKS ((Tomorrow)) Interplanetary shuttles continue deliver resources into the North Sea from Europa, now focusing on this task in order to make the investors of the expidition and the government rich.

I could do either, but I would only do a scifi RP if it had recognizable nations that actually exist IRL. It's hard to feel attachment to something in scifi or act out a character if you don't have a history to admire to see where you've come from, I've found. :/ Medieval would be good too, so I could do that, but I'd want /THAT/ one to have original nations in it. I find that playing historical FRPs leads to repeating history and copying from Wikipedia, in most instances.

THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA Charlotte Elizabeth "Laura" Diana Windsor, Queen of the United Kingdom, Defender of the Commonwealth, Duchess of Normandy, Wielder of the Starlit Crown, Defender of the Anglican Branch of the Catholic Faith, Queen-Wife of Iberia, Patron of the Order of St. George, and Empress of the Great Imperium of Britannia upon which the Sun Never Sets... ...had never been greeted like this before. It made her feel as though she was 18 again, before her marriage to then Prince João of Iberia, when she was highly praised for her voice by her family. In fact, in her final years, her great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth the II, had told her as a young child that she could sense that she had talent. Great talents... and not just music talents. And she had been right. It is now Laura's turn to respond to the President, as she smiles pleasantly, the world watching how she would react to the unconventional royal greeting. The woman, 37 years of age, sings something that any other British monarch besides herself would never have dared to: "The World Turned Upside Down", the same song that had been played almost 300 years by a British marching band during the Revolutionary War at a town called "Yorktown". The band at the reception recognizes it immediately, and begins to play along as she sings. The world televises the event. SONG: After finishing the song, the media would be ecstatic as the social Empress now attempts to get President Underwood to sing "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" with her. This is possibly the only thing on television that could pry the British television viewers from the Olympic Games. A good thing too, because once again, the British soccer team had embarrassed themselves... But that was something to worry about later. For now, it was time to enjoy the majestic tour of the Empress around the Americas. She prepares to give a speech before Congress the next morning. ((I'll post it in my next, bigger post. I'll probably be following each visitation non-linearly, but she'd first visit the United States, then the CSA and the Californian Dominion, to note.)) ---------------------------- Prime Minister Lord George Lancaster flails about in outrage as much of the rest of the British public does the same at the Olympic Games. Britain had just lost a SHOOTOUT to the INDIANS! This was intolerable. Completely. Intolerable. The Indians MUST have cheated! It was no secret that they hated the British! No matter. The Olympics committee would sort things out, the British were sure. And if they didn't, there was always next year in which the British would most likely play against the Indians once again. Save for this terribly disgraceful blunder, the British people are pleased to have come in 3rd place in the Olympic Games. Britannia was strong, Britannia was powerful, and the Sun would Never Set Upon It. -------------------- After the visit to the Union, the Empress would continue her travel plans, proceeding onwards to the CSA ((Will post a response to them after they post their response)) and then to the Californian Dominion. Of course, the Empress allows for herself and her MI-6 protection to be screened before they're lead to the tower. As they pass through the streets, the Empress cringes upon seeing the rebel fights. But she remains silent until they finally enter the building. She waves dismissively at Johny Depp II's question. "I am the first British Monarch in two generations to visit the Americas, due to the instability on the continent. Now that things are stable, I have decided to take a Western Hemisphere tour to personally meet with the leaders of the Americas on the continent From here, it's on to Australia, then to Argentina and back to one of my palaces in the Azores. I would absolutely wish to see your Great Leader... Mister Schwartzneggar must be getting very, very old indeed. If he is not willing to see me within the next few days, however, I am afraid that I will have to move on. Your rebel suppression systems are quite effective... tell me, what do you know about fighting terrorists? The Frenchmen in Normandy are rather troubling." The rest of the meeting would likely take place in private, as they talk amongst themselves. The Empress would also have several other issues to discuss with Johnny Depp the Second, which would not be made known to the public. ((Will Skype PM)) ------------------------ Two C-130s soar across Western Europe and Russia, going to land in Stalingrad. After landing with authorization, the doors of the C-130s swing open. "LET'S MOVE!" An entire company of British soldiers, armed with LIONCUB high-powered energy rifles and King Charles Body Armor, numbering about 100 men, disembark, forming a line before their Major. The Major in charge of the expedition salutes whoever's in charge at the runway, and offers a letter to them, detailing their orders from the British government to help defend Stalingrad and it's civilian populace from harm from the environment and the mutants roaming the wastes. Notably, the second dropship is packed to the brim with humanitarian aid in the form of food and medical supplies. It also carries several crates of LIONCUB rechargeable clips, by now modified to fire about 16 rounds before having to be reloaded, and T-84s. The latter are to be distributed to the soldiers in Stalingrad to replace their archaic firearms, and help shore up their defenses. The British Major awaits orders from the leader of Stalingrad. The company sent to them will do anything that DOESN'T go against either the Imperium Britannia or the Imperium Germania, nor the UEDI. They will also not commit warcrimes or crimes against the populace of Stalingrad. The Major is authorized to talk to the government of Stalingrad on behalf of the Empress, and requests a meeting with their Chairman. He also suggests that his soldiers be deployed to the perimeter immediately; their weaponry could probably be used very efficiently and destructively against the mutant humans and animals beyond the walls of Stalingrad. At the same time, he states that the British force is also there to explore the wastes, and see what Russia has become, documenting it for all eternity and for science Who knows, he says, what lies beyond those walls...

THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA Britain was utterly infuriated with Reclaimer Corps. It was almost as though they wished to piss off the British government... The defeat at Ceres was a disgrace. The British government doesn't go so far as to block the video in their realms, but many citizens, due to their extreme nationalism, refuse to watch the video or even agnoledge it's existence. Morale plummets in the Imperium Britannia; the British people really needed a victory in space to take their minds off of what was happening on Earth, and now they had none. Although the finest British film directors were making hit films based off of the Great Iberian War and World War III, as well as autobiographies of King Charles and Emperor William, it would take a lot for the morale of the British people to bounce back from this. The Empress would not let "The Ceres Incident" go unnoticed. All Reclaimer Corps products are boycotted in the Imperium Britannia, and a lawsuit is prepared to sue what's left of Reclaimer Corps on Earth in an international court for the destruction of government property and the murder of British military personnel. Britannia also requests compensation for their loss, if they can at all afford it, from the UEDI and Greece, which had pushed them to dispatch a ship to Ceres to destroy Dimitri. Meanwhile, in space, the British government begins to doubt it's power, and the BSA begins to doubt in itself. Orion Avionics is taken notice of by the BSA, and is offered several contracts by them that would provide large sums of money from the Commonwealth of Nations Pot for the BSA to them, if they accept. They would also be offered a moderately-sized starting commission to retain their services for the future. Specifically, the BSA wishes to extend two contracts to them in particular. The first involves creating specialized modules for the British Motherships under construction near Victoria Station, to be installed whilst they work on the main frame and the basic ships. Such modules would include defensive, scientific, carrier, and offensive capabilities, with various pieces of enhanced equipment installed, including the LION lasers, the Union Microwave missile defense system that they had employed in their navy, guided missiles, and anything else they can possibly think of. They are also asked to design a space frigate/destroyer, and present it to the British government. If they are interested in it's capabilities, the BSA might commission them to build such a warship to supplement their carrier/assault cruiser under construction, if the price is right. --------------------- The marriage alliance will be considered from the Order of St. George, as they currently constitute almost a fourth of the British military. The Prince of Porto could either marry a daughter off to the son of the Empress, Prince Lawrence Windsor, or she could marry one of her daughters off to his heir or to himself. The British government makes an official declaration to the Caliphate, stating that the British government is NOT responsible for the St. George attack against the Caliphate in Ethiopia. They had British equipment, yes, and were sworn to the British crown to fight alongside their troops in times of war, but they were doing this operation out of their own independence and will, with no orders from the British government. They also state that there are British citizens bearing arms in South Africa, but that they are not fighting in the name of the Imperium Britannia. They are fighting in the name of the British Commonwealth of Nations, a force consisting of volunteer troops from various realms of the British Commonwealth; therefore, the Imperium Britannia cannot be held responsible for such volunteers. They also have LIONCUB rifles and LION cannons, which were taken from outsourced factories in South Africa. The British are not supplying the South Africans with weapons. To fill the void made by so many St. George troops leaving Iberia, 175,000 British troops, including the British Foreign Legion, along with the proper armor and air support from new superior Churchill fighters, are sent to Iberia to help shore up the demilitarized zone between Islamic and British Iberia. German anti-air defenses, now operated with the Australian VIs, are put on high alert at defensive fortifications all over the country, just in case the Caliphate decides to make a move against British Iberia. ----------------- The Empress sets off for her tour of America, carefully flying over Greenland to get there and escorted by two Churchill fighters during the journey. She intends to first fly to Washington DC and New York City to greet the President of the United States, as well as the Prime Minister of Canada or the equivalent to his current position. She might give a speech to the American people whilst she's there. She then intends to fly to New Orleans, so that she might attend the festivities in the CSA and greet their President, as well as give a speech there as well. Finally, she would wish to visit Sacramento, California, to greet the leader of the Californian Dominion. However, the British monarch would only do so if she were given permission to visit California by their government. From there, she would then intend to fly to Australia to give a speech in Sydney, and to meet with the Australian King, her honorary vassal, and the Prime Minister of the Federation. Then she would fly to Argentina, where she would meet with the Queen of the South American Federation, and then island hop to Ascension Island, where her plane would refuel and return to her palace in the Azores. ---------------------- South Africa is assured that they have no malicious intentions on their continent; the age of colonialism is, indeed, over, and although Britannia does require colonies and overseas possessions to maintain it's power, it most certainly would never target a Commonwealth Realm. The South Africans had also done much for the British, and it would be foolish to throw away such a grand friendship. All they wanted was for their children to be kept away from the harmful radiation in Europe. The British have also accepted the request from the Argentines to build their space station with them. A wing of the station is to be dedicated to the Imperium Britannia upon completion, where it will act as a backup station away from Victoria. The British engineers in space would begin to install defensive LION cannons onto the station, though they would consult with the Australians about whether or not they would be allowed to use the VI for the targeting systems. The HMS Jovian Clipper is also recalled to Victoria Station, to be outfitted with heavy weaponry and prepare for possible attacks upon British space positions, all of which were heavily armed, but would need to be defended in the case that an aggressor attempts to attack them. Teams on Mars decide to begin investigating the ruins on the planet. ((POK PLEASE)) ​All British space possessions would be at high alert, their expedition defenses consisting of VI LIONS and surface-to-space missiles armed and ready, always prepared to defend themselves. They decide to take no chances, fearing that that they'll be EMPed like the King Charles before they have a chance to react. Victoria Station as well would always be expecting attack, it's defensive systems operating around the clock. ------------------------- The radio transmission, sent out by the Soviet Union, is faintly picked up in space as Victoria station passes over their tower in Earth's orbit. Immediately, a Scottish female voice returns a very faint transmission in United Kingdom English. "This is... British... Station Victoria," The operator would hear through a great deal of static. "...require assistance... request aid? What is... situation? Send location... forward... London... possible. Relay... British gov..." The operator probably has time to patch through a message in morse code, should he so wish, before the station drifts out of range.

THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA The BBC was in an uproar as the H.M.S King Charles was reportedly boarded by Relcaimer Corps. The SAS soldiers aboard quickly arm themselves with LIONCUB high-energy rifles, protected in Faraday Caged lockers, as the Phalanx 1 drones and the Exo Soldiers board the ship. However, they're too late; the SAS soldiers valiantly fight, but they're outclassed by the Phalanx 1 drones. They do manage to seriously wound and perhaps kill some of the Reclaimer infantry, however, as they make their way through the corridors of the ship. But many of the SAS soldiers are slaughtered, and those surviving the onslaught quickly surrender. The operations crew is taken hostage, the Captain in charge of the ship being successfully captured. But he had anticipated this, and the crew simply bided its time as the SAS soldiers are beaten back. As the leader of the boarding party enters the room, the operations officers get on their knees, their hands behind their heads. Their only hope was to surrender to Reclaimer Corps. Ceremonially, and sweating from fear, both from the thought of disgrace back home and the thought of what was to happen to the rest of his crew, Captain Lawrence Osborne offers a ceremonial sword from his office to the boarding party commander in surrender. Britannia had just fought it's first interplanetary battle, and it had lost. Terribly. -------------------- BSA Command attempts to contact Reclaimer Corps, outranged by their attack on one of their Motherships. They commend them for their technological prowess and military success, but they have, nevertheless, launched an unprovoked attacked on one of their motherships, and in the process, outraged the British government. BSA Command will negotiate for the safe return of the HMS King Charles and the surviving crewmen, if need be, and swear to never enter Ceres space again if allowed to do so. Britannia appeals to the Greek government to use their influence with Reclaimer Corps to help negotiate a safe return of the Mothership and it's crew. For what it's worth, Empress Laura Windsor and most of the British Royal Family attend the funeral of the German Kaiser. Aid is also sent to the Slavic Confederation. Or at least, what aid can be spared... However, since supplies are in abundance, many packages of medical supplies and other forms of humanitarian aid are provided to the Confederation.

Well, as a major space-faring nation player, I can say that there /will/ be space colonies to be built very soon, and I wouldn't mind having someone operate Atlantis on the Jovian Moon Europa or Lunapolis on Earth's Moon... You could be a British space governor of one of these space colonies after one opens up, I suppose, if you really wanted, but we'd probably have to coordinate posts and I'd have to give you some special space orders from time to time. Or you could play Jewish Cyprus, which is a completely independent, new Jewish State protectorate of the Imperium Britannia, or the Order of St. George, which is a Christian Holy Order sworn to the British Crown and the Roman Catholic Church, who's purpose is fight heretics. They particularly clash with the Islamic Caliphate, to note, and have fought in numerous engagements against them.

THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA (Quick Response) Upon hearing of the situation in South Africa, the Empress of Britannia decides it best to quickly remind her old friend, the Caliph, that South Africa is a Commonwealth Realm, and that it would severely mangle relations with the Imperium Britannia if it invades or subjugates one of the countries of which she is monarch. The Empress requests, therefore, that the Caliphate stay away from South Africa, lest they mangle the slowly mending relations between their two nations.

THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA The Imperium Britannia would, indeed, survive, it looked like as the Imperium began to produce and install Swedish-made radiation scrubbers across Imperium controlled territory. Relief supplies are delivered to Great Britain, Ireland, Iberia, and France, as the huge amounts of food, water, clothing, and shelter begin to pour in. Many British children would be delivered to safety in South Africa, in order to get them away from the horrors of the European continent. However, this would only be on the condition that the South African government allow them to form separate refugee colonies away from their cities, and that they allow the British government to set up their own schools in order to educate the children, as they do not want any foreign power, even an ally, to be put in such a dangerous position of twisting the future of the British people. The Order of St. George is given the task of organizing this humanitarian effort, and they would take advantage of the situation by setting up Catholic schools in order to educate the children of Britannia in the doctrines of the Catholic Church and of God if the South Africans accept these conditions allow them to set up these refugee colonies on their shores. Studies continue on the radiation-resistant volunteers. ((Mod Please)) Prime Minister George Lancaster issues a response speech to the Union. "Mister President, your call for democracy is noble, yet confusing. Democracy already exists in Europe. Britannia, in fact, is amongst the more democratic nations of the land. All laws must be passed by parliament, and the Empress is very, very far from a dictator; she is best described as being a dual executive, like myself, in the eyes of the Government. The true power lies with the people, the commoners; we are a Constitutional Monarchy, governed by Parliament and ruled by the Queen, just has we have been for the past six-hundred years. Our Imperial Parliament gives every province of our Empire (The United Kingdom, Iberia, Newfoundland, Normandy, Hong Kong, and possibly Jewish Cyprus should they vote for admission) untampered representation in a democratic body. We are not an Empire; we are an Imperium of Realms ruled under the Union Jack. Save for Normandy, which was ceded to us by Germany, every area of Britannia has willingly, no, has happily joined our realm. We are more like a federation than an Empire, much more similar to say, Australia, than to Germany. Our realms have complete internal autonomy; all we manage for them are external affairs. Together, we are strong, so together we operate. Together we fight, and share resources between each other. We are a Commonwealth, just as the old British Empire was. Now, there are countries in Europe that do not embrace democratic ideals, but the majority of these countries do. The Greco-Roman State and the Slavic Confederation, notably, are free republics, not Empires nor monarchies ruled by absolute dictators. Britannia has done much in the name of democracy over the past 30 years; please, let us keep at it, slowly but surely, as the original father of modern democracy, and you will see promising results within the next three decades, I assure you." ------------------------- The Empress had watched the formation of the Far Eastern Empire, and the rise of Australia and China in space. Britannia was going to lose it's edge as the King of the Stars if they didn't do something quickly. Despite all their pain and suffering, the British people weren't willing to let this happen. Not under ANY circumstance was this to happen. Never against would Britannia decline as it had in the past. The gods themselves could not strip them of their glory. Two new motherships, the HMS Starlit Crown and the HMS Enterprise, were to be constructed in orbit around Victoria Station, in unison with the new Prometheus Class Assault Carrier already in production. ((15 Pages)) Meanwhile, interplanetary shuttles owned by the Imperium begin to set to work on a new task: creating a colony at Central Base on Europa. Materials, supplies, plant seeds, and cryofrozen volunteer citizens would be shipped over to Europa, along with some construction drones, would be ferried to the Central Base at Europa by these shuttles, and construction on a colony begins. It is to be named, conveniently, Atlantis. ((6 Turns)) The British government plans, at long last, to release information on the existence of the ruins of Atlantis to the public. But only after the colony has been established. Meanwhile, at Victoria Station, the Spy from California would have managed to gain a position aboard the arguably most grand space station in Earth Orbit. The British government eyes the new Indian Superweapon with anxiety. They ask for assurance from India that they will not use it on other powers out of spite or past hatred for them, obviously referring to the cloudy history between the two nations. The Mars scientists report everything over the British buoy network. The British government, concerned, wonders if there's a correlation between these ruins and the Atlantians. They intend to question the Japanese and the S.P.E.A.R astronauts about these odd findings at the Christmas feast. Whilst all of this is going on, science teams would be dispatched from Europa's Central Base to investigate the energy signature at the south pole of the moon... ((Mod Please)) Construction on the colony around Earth's moon continues, and is marketed to the British public. Almost a thousand citizens from across the European parts of the Empire plan to flee to the new colony upon completion. This colony shall be named Lunapolis. More Churchill fighters are assigned to the hangar on board Victoria Station, due to the newly ascertained presence of the Chinese Orbital Bombers. The British government wishes to form a space coalition between themselves and the Far Eastern Empire, as well as officially renew their space alliance with Australia, in order to ensure that all parties work together to maintain their dominancies in space. ------------------------- The British Mothership HMS King Charles' Dream, having received permission from Reclaimer Corps to enter Ceres' orbit, finally arrives into position. Armed to the teeth, the armored mothership presents a terrifying sight indeed. The King Charles has been heavily plated and armed with numberous LION beam cannons, high yield explosive missiles, and chain-guns, all operated by the famous Australian VI targeting computer aboard the ship. Four Churchill Fighter Jets are also docked with the ship, in place of the usual exploration/cargo landers and ferry shuttles; only one lander is loaded onto the ship, visibly. Able to ignore the struggle of reaching Earth's atmosphere, the fuel supplies of the Churchills would last much longer in space. They're armed with their usual armament of LION cannons, missiles, and a single machine fun for backup purposes. Twelve SAS soldiers are aboard the King Charles, as well as an operations crew of ten personnel and eight fighter pilots. The King Charles, pride of the Royal Navy in Space, begins to scan for Dimitri's base on the planet, having notified Reclaimer Corps of their intentions beforehand as they prepare. Upon locating his dwelling, they would prepare to open fire with everything they've got. The fighter pilots slip into their craft, ready to undock and jet into action upon locating Dimitri's hideaway. Haley would lead John into a room, where she would show a board with pictures pinned onto it to him. "This is the man who's responsible for the shooting of the King of Iberia, and numerous deaths across France. He's going to destroy the Norman government if we don't do something about his organization soon. They're weakened, affected by their cuts in funding and lack of food. This is the time to strike. They'll be searching for new members and new leaders with all of their deaths. YOU are to imbed yourself in their organization, and rise up through the ranks. You will give us intel on where the Frenchies are going to strike next, and in the process, save the Greater Imperium from terrorist ruin. Kapeish?"

John An armored car transports John to an RAF airfield outside of London. There, Agent Haley waits to greet him. "Hello John; you've done well. The Americans consider 'James' a hero," she smirks. "Unfortunently... things are going well in the Imperium. But hopefully that shall soon change. We have an assignment for you; a rather special one, if you choose to accept it."

THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA The Empress, Laura Windsor, knew it was too good to be true, as she filled out paperwork in her fallout bunker in London. Just as the Imperium Britannia was in it's roaring years again, a bust had to happen. And this bust came in the form of deadly, nuclear clouds. Citizens all over the British Isles, Normandy, and Iberia begin to die off. Widows cry in the streets, and the orphanages are filled to the brim. With no other choice, roughly 40% of the soldiers in the European armies of the Imperium are allowed to turn in their resignations and return to their families and loved ones to avoid starvation. Land Troops of the Grand Imperial Army The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland: 210,000 (Slashed 40% from 350,000) The Kingdom of Castile (Iberia): 300,000 (Slashed 40% from 500,000) The Holy Order of St. George: 220,000 (Independent From the Grand Imperial Army, and only usable during defensive or religious affairs. Unaffected.) The Norman 3rd Army: 60,000 (Slashed 40% from 100,000) Newfoundland Army: 30,000 (Slashed 40% from 50,000) Hong Kong Defense Force: 7,200 (Slashed 40% from 12,000) The British Foreign Legion: 20,000 (Unaffected; foreigners, many non-European. Nowhere else to go.) Jewish Cypriot Defense Force: [Not Set Up Yet] TOTAL: 847,200 Men Imperium-Wide A national emergency is declared, and the Empress assumes a stature of High Crown Authority to deal with the issues at hand. It had figured that the Russians had to kill Europe on an election year; the British Socialist Party and the Irish Catholic Party gain prominence in the Imperial Parliament, although the Traditionalists Conservatives still maintained a tight supremacy in the House of Lords and a 3/5ths majority in the House of Commons. The crowd applauds, the speech helping to raise their spirits. ----------------------------------- All aid from all nations is begrudgingly accepted; the Brits are a proud people, and they don't wish to accept the aid, but they do during this time of crisis when hundreds of thousands of their citizens are dying in their state-of-the-art country. The British government begins to distribute radiation gear across the European possessions of the Imperium, hoping to lower the intensity of the crisis. Fallout shelters in major cities from the Cold War open their doors, and civilians flock into them whenever they see the fearsome sight of a radiation cloud overhead. Upon seeing that some people are immune to the radiation clouds, Britannia makes this public knowledge, and sets up a research program in various universities to study these patients. Of course, admission would be voluntary, but a decent price would be paid to any entrees into the research program, enticing many to be studied by the scientists and help save their families in the process. A state of High Crown Authority is declared, giving the Empress almost absolute power for the duration of the emergency. However, Parliament could easily seize this power from the Empress if she abuses it too much, or if the citizens demand that these powers be stripped from her. Britannia attempts to preserve various species of animals, insects, and other living creatures in a series of zoos, aquariums, and wildlife habitats in Newfoundland. Various seeds from various plant species are sent to the British Antarctic Territory to be cryostored in a seed vault. The British government also request food and humanitarian aid from all nations, though they specifically appear to non-european allies and friendlies such as the USAC, the CSA, Australia, the NCR, Argentina, Japan, Jewish Cyprus, and South Africa. They also offer to buy aid if need be, until the fallout and farmland in Western Europe can be cleansed of radiation. -------------------------------- Imperium soldiers from the Americas and Eastern Europe are recalled due to the forced sequestration of the military, leaving a mere 200,000 Imperium Troops in North America, not including the Newfoundland Army. The troops that remain, however, move to assist in stabilizing the new USAC government, as promised to the Americans and the Canadians. A meeting is to be held between the British Prime Minister and the USAC President. Upon hearing rumors about Dimitri's fleeing into space, Churchill fighters depart from Victoria Station, intent on sweeping the area in an attempt to locate and radio Reclaimer Corps Rockets. However, due to the fuel constraints of the fighters, it is unlikely that they'd be able to find any orbital rockets. Besides. Dimitri was probably long, long gone by now, far out of Victoria's range of operations. The Imperium offers to assist Greece in hunting down the war criminal, stating that they will use their resources in space to apprehend him if need be. A delegation of the finest athletes in the Imperium, gathered from Newfoundland, Hong Kong, Iberia, and the United Kingdom itself are sent to attend the Olympic Games in Greece. Despite all that is going on, the British Empress shall attend these games, leaving Prime Minister Lord George Lancaster in her stead as her regent during the ongoing ceremonies. The British Olympics team is geared heavily towards Archery, Badminton, Golf (Scots), Football (Soccer), Cycling, Running, Shooting, Equestrian Races, and Swimming. -------------------------- News is awaited for the latest updates on the Europa Expedition and the Mars Mission. ((Mod Please)) Plans would be made to arrange space plane flights between the United Kingdom and Victoria Station, and from there to the British Moon Base, as well as support an intense building project on the moon to create a Space Colony out of the base in Mare Tranquillatus on the fifth of the moon claimed by the British. The United Kingdom intends to turn it into a tourist attraction, much like the Japanese fiasco on the moon, more to draw the public's attention away from the situation on Earth than for monetary gain. ((10 Pages)) Britannia also reaches out to the Swedes and the Caliphate, offering to grant both of them the profitable contract of transporting British materials to Victoria Station in order to slice the huge transportation costs for materials incurred by the BSA. The H.M.S King Charles' Dream makes its way back to Earth, to be restocked for a new mission. Apparently, it's to be outfitted with temporary weapons of all varieties, as though this mission will be one involving combat... However, the reasoning behind this is revealed to S.P.E.A.R and Japan, as they state that they're to go on a mission to capture or kill Dimitri, wherever he may be located. The trading deal is accepted from Indochina. ----------------- Britannia calls an emergency meeting for all European leaders to meet in Ponta Delgata in the British Azores, safely away from the dangerous radiation clouds in Europe, to discuss the situation that is tearing apart the continent. THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA "Dublin, this is Colonel Belfast on board Dragonfly 1; we have safely landed." The monitors cheered in happiness as a Dragonfly lander from the British Mothership H.M.S Jovian Clipper lands on the surface of Mars in Utopia Planitia. Drones and supplies were soon ferried back and forth between the Mothership and the landing site; builder drones begin to assist the astronauts in constructing a Mars base, very similar to the one on Europa. But this time, the proper supplies had been brought along to successfully survive on the surface of the planet, decades of freeze-dried rations having been brought along, in addition to plants to create the base's self-sufficient greenhouse. As the base is being constructed, some members of the expedition team begin to drive around the surface in specially designed Mars rovers. Notably, several South African and Australian scientists and soldiers accompanied the British on their mission to Mars, but the majority of the Astronauts are from the Imperium. Upon scanning the radiation emanating from the planet, scientists are confused. They decide to do further research to find the source of the radiation later. Drones begin to explore the surface of Mars as well, traveling much further distances than the teams of researchers. Special aircraft drones are employed on Mars, as it's atmosphere allows for air flight to become possible. One of these solar-powered drones drops canisters, easily spottable with neon-colored parachutes, near outskirts of Japanese and S.P.E.A.R Mars territory, after miles of sustained flight. The pamphlets would wish good will upon them, and ​invite both expeditions to partake in a Christmas feast aboard the H.M.S Jovian Clipper on behalf of the British government. Work would continue on the base until it is complete. As the British Mothership orbits the planet, it would perform a barrel roll as it passes the S.P.E.A.R space station at a distance, obviously a salute of respect towards the S.P.E.A.R astronauts. Meanwhile, automated shuttles continue to ferry resources from Europa to Earth, dropping their cargo into the North Sea in a series of heat-shielded containers with parachutes, where British ships stand by to pick the resources up and take them back to the United Kingdom for distribution and storing. These resources include H-3, various fossil fuels, and silver, amongst other things. The silver is transported to the treasury of the United Kingdom (as well as to various investors and a portion to Australia), helping to bolster the value of the Pound Sterling and pour money into the economy, as well last to pay off the debts incurred by the space program and the various wars and research projects around the Imperium. Plans are made to create a new crown from some of this silver for the Empress. It is to be called the Starlit Crown​, and is to have the finest sapphires jeweled into it by Jewish jewelers from Jewish Cyprus. Other gemstones from across the Imperium shall be jeweled into it too, such as gold from Newfoundland, a diamond from Hong Kong, pearls from the Azores, and sphalerite gems from Spain. It is to represent Imperium power and prestige, as well as Her Majesty's rights to the British-claimed areas of Earth and Space. ----------------------- Meanwhile, it's now election day in the Imperium Britannia's Imperial Parliament! Though it appears that the Traditionalist Conservative Party will, once again, win by a long-shot, several other factions appear to be gaining recognition in Parliament. The parties include, from weakest to most powerful: The Norman Independence Party-- This party believes that Normandy is an illegitimate claim of the Imperium, and should be released from it's rule. The Greater Hong Kong Party-- This party wishes for Hong Kong to be promoted to a province of the Imperium, due to it's high population and monetary yield They support the acquisition of island territories in the name of Hong Kong if this will grant them their right to become a province, as well as any other action necessary. The British Normandy Party-- Support the Anglicization of Normandy, considering the Normans as their close relatives and the Provincial Normandy Republic as properly claimed British land. The Russian Friendship Party-- This party misses the days of old when Britain was allied with Russia, and wishes for relations to be repaired with Russia after the conflict in Canada and Europe is over. The Irish Catholic Party-- This party despises the Islamic Caliphate, and wishes to utterly destroy their empire. They particularly remember the slaughtering of Irish troops in Saudi Arabia back in the 2030s. Though they support the reunification of Ireland and the United Kingdom, they wish for more autonomy to be given to Ireland in determining it's own domestic affairs as is done in the Imperial Provinces. The Party for the Greater Imperium-- This party supports the mending of relations between Germany and Britannia, and creating a more central authority for the Great Imperium of Europa. The British Socialist Party-- This party demands more government control of the economy, and the withdrawal of the Crown from governmental affairs. They also wish to repeal many Catholic laws and policies past by Parliament, and for even more autonomy within provinces of the Imperium. The Traditionalist Conservative Party-- This party supports a policy of moderate crown authority, as well as the federative government that holds the Imperium together so successfully. It is, by far, the most powerful party in the Imperium, and maintains an almost 2/3rds majority in the House of Commons and almost complete supremacy in the House of Lords. It is, therefore, the party that is currently in power, it's head being Prime Minister Lord George Lancaster. May the best party win. Plans are also made to add feudal borders into the provinces of the newly admitted territory of the Imperium, and create a House of Lords to stand beside the House of Commons in the new Imperial Parliament. -------------------------------- Finally, the Churchill F-48 fighter has been completed! Of course, the plans to the fighter had escaped falling into Russian hands, as the designs were held by the British. Outfitted with LION blasters, as well as convention missiles, it has protective armor built into it to better defend it from anti-aircraft fire and explosive weaponry. The British government orders almost 600 of these highly-advanced fighter craft to be put on the assembly lines, and plans to enhance them with Starlite armor pending negotiations with Britannia's UEDI allies. Three prototypes are sent into the atmosphere, intending to target an aging British satellite that was just going to fall out of orbit soon in any case. "This is Cleaver Leader; engage the 'enemy'." The British fighters manage to enter space, though they could not stay there for more than a couple of hours due to fuel constrains. Their VI targeting systems lock onto the aging satellite, and the fighters unleash their LION cannons, bolts of blue energy blowing the satellite to smithereens. "Dublin, we have success." Space Command in Dublin cheers wildly again, as the prototypes veer towards Victoria Station, intending to use the last of their fuel to dock in the hangar area there to refuel, and be stationed there permanently; two successes in a single month were sure to enthrall the Imperium public, and attract yet more funding towards the BSA. ((Mod Please on Public Donations)) --------------------------- The Israeli investigators from the Foreign Legion in France stop their investigations, returning to the front lines to meet up with the Legion. The Legion had pulled back to recover from combat, ostensibly, but in truth, they refused to fight alongside the conquerers of Israel, the Caliphate. Military High Command had agreed, and pulled them back to recover for the time being. The British Expeditionary Force in Europe continues to fight valiantly alongside the UEDI. LIONCUB rifles become more and more common by the day, and the Churchill fighter jet is tested for the first time in combat against the Russian Air Force as peace talks are underway. Though several fighters, obviously, have next to no impact in the long run of the war, these fighters are devastating when employed, far-outgunning and outclassing anything in the Russian arsenal. Of course, as the ceasefire is called for the conference, the British halt their advance, waiting with the other UEDI forces in the area. ----------------------- Research begins on creating an armored drop-ship with much of the same technology incorporated into it as was incorporated into the stolen Project LION machines and the Churchill. ((15 Pages)) Research also stops on the St. George body armor, and resources are put into the designing and building of a prototype at Victoria Station for a new class of Mothership, meant to serve as both an attack and an exploration vehicle. It will carry several of the new Churchill fighters within it in a hangar bay, and will be armed to the teeth with LION cannons and missiles. It will also carry the same vehicles as the now-aging King Charles Class Motherships, and contain a greenhouse to create a sustainable food supply and atmosphere for the ship. Hey guys. I play the Imperium Britannia, and I'd like to make an announcement. The Order of St. George, a Christian Holy Order that fights in the name of Christ and often works/is now sworn to the Imperium, and Jewish Cyprus, the new Jewish State that was recently founded to replace Israel as a safe haven for the Jewish race as an independent Imperium protectorate, are now PLAYABLE by anyone who wishes to apply as them! Quick Post The Imperium Britannia believes that St. George may have misunderstood their request... They ask that they withdraw to British France only, until they can confer with the Germans on how to handle the situation in France. Even then, they ask that they assist the British soldiers in British France in keeping order, not enacting martial law; the Governor of Normandy was still in power at the moment, and they were yet to see which cities needed martial law to be enacted upon them. Right now, they were just attempting to assist the NPF in keeping the peace in France; however, action may be needed to be taken, as they are doing, very, very shortly.

THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA Britannia does not want to offend the Chinese, so they accept the invitation to the peace summit. However, they state that they will not stop fighting until the Russian occupied nations in America have been liberated. Period. ((Skype PMs conference for the summit?)) Meanwhile, the British Spy in the Union, who had gained a high-ranking military position in recent years, now decides to make his move. He joins in the rebellion. Assuming he has a field command with his military position, he would attempt to direct his army to march on Washington DC, joining the Confederate attempt to overthrow the Pro-Russian government. If he had an office position, then he would attempt to get in secret contact with the Sons of Liberty and the CSA to ask how he can assist them, and would do everything in his power to help both organizations without being caught by the Pro-Russian government. Of course, he wouldn't blow his cover as a British spy; he would continue to play the role of an American nationalist. In the event he were caught, he would die screaming that he was a Russian double agent, not a British MI-6 operative. ((Editing to Come After Clarification of Spy's exact Military Position)) ------------------ With the Empress still at her husband's bedside, it was the duty of the Prime Minister to... well... do what he'd been doing for the past three terms of office. By now he had a full head of grey hair, and had since lost his mustache. The situation in Canada was strange indeed... Such a turn-around. Something was fishy in the country, but there was no evidence as to what was. Prime Minister George Lancaster orders MI-6 to begin a secret investigation in Canada, telling them to examine the profiles of every incumbent politician in the nation. One could never tell if one was telling the truth when Russia was involved. He issues a response to the Canadian government: "It is good to hear that you have dealt with your own problems; I admire the Canadian people's resiliency, and your ability to overthrow your Russian oppressors. However, you must remember that you are first and fore-mostly a realm of the British Commonwealth, and that your Head of State is our Head of State as well. Your country's leadership betrayed the Empress by becoming a puppet of Russia, and this is a serious crime indeed to the Commonwealth. The Imperium Britannia demands that all pro-Russian politicians in Canada be turned over for trial and execution in the United Kingdom. Australia will support the United Kingdom in our request, if need be, as they too swear allegiance to our Monarch, the liege of their own Monarch. There is also much trouble to clear up in Canada, and I hope that you'll forgive me when I say that we cannot and will not leave your country until we are sure that the corruption has been purged. This includes the Australians, and the Anglo-Iberian task force sent to Canada. We also wish to station troops in the realm so that we might protect Canada from future aggression from it's neighbors, and provide protection for the country. We hope that you forgive us, but in such times of crisis, precautions must be taken. We and the Australians will work with the Canadian Armed Forces for the moment and engage in further talks at the conference in Beijing. God save the Empress." ------------------ Plans are set in motion to establish a Jewish State on the Island of Cyprus. Many Turkish and Greek Cyproits decide that they wish to return to their father nations after the invasion, and many leave their homes on Cyprus to do so. However, many also stay on the island, declaring that it's their home, and they will stay there no matter what. Others believe that British rule would be good for them, even if it is under the banner of the new Jewish State. The island republic shall be known as Jewish Cyprus, and it shall be modeled after the old Israeli form of government. All religions shall be permitted on the island, and Cyprus will most likely retain it's strong, Greek heritage. However, it is expected that millions of Jewish immigrants from the former state of Israel in the Caliphate and other parts of the world will come to the island, and the Greeks and ​Turks may soon be largely outnumbered by the influx of new citizens. The new government will be a protectorate and possibly a vassal of the Imperium Britannia, but it will be allowed to manage it's own affairs and maintain a strong defense force. ((IF ANYONE WANTS TO PLAY JEWISH CYPRUS, JUST APPLY AS IT!!!)) More organization of Cyprus shall follow, and a military government will be instituted until elections are held on the island. ((Future Postings, or decidable by a player if they choose to play as Jewish Cyprus)) ------------------ The city of Porto is given to the Order of St. George as an independent citystate-princedom for the time being. A new type of body armor also begins being designed for the order of St. George, and jetpack propulsion, lighter armor plating, and other features will be included in the new armor. It will also be adopted, most likely, by the Imperial Knights Regiment upon completion. ((Mod Please)) ----------------- The last of the destroyers, produced to bolster the Royal Navy, have finally been completed. They are some of the first ships in the Royal Navy to have LION weaponry natively incorporated into their systems. Plans are made to retrofit the older ships of the Royal Navy into a state-of-the-art fighting force, restoring the lesser assets of the fleet gained from Portugal and Spain, and installing new technology in them to make them on-par with other naval powers such as the Japanese and the CSA. ((Mod Please for Time)) ----------------- The oil deal extended by the CSA is accepted heartily; one can never have too many oil suppliers, and Britannia was putting a lot of strain on the NBC due to their new provinces and territories. They agree not to give any other European nations access to this oil; it shall be kept within the British Imperium.

THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA British troops begin the planned invasion of Canada after receiving no response from the Canadian government, launching from Newfoundland Island and landing in eastern Labrador. Due to their less sophisticated weaponry and their lesser numbers, it is thought that the Grand Imperial Army will make short work of the Pro-Russian Canadian troops, as British F-35 fighters, as well as Challenger and Stealth tanks along with SPGs, equipped with LION laser weaponry will make short work of Canadian infantry and armor. In most likelihood, British fighters would gain air superiority over the puny Canadian Air Force. However, the Canadian Army would be given every opportunity to surrender to the British if they so choose. Britannia would begin to spread propaganda to the civilian populace of Canada, through the use of airdropped fliers written in both English and French and Internet news sites. They call for the Canadian populace to rise up against their wicked government for their country and for their monarch; the British promise to restore Canada as an independent Commonwealth Realm, at least mostly, if they win the war. The Grand Imperial Army would attempt to force as many Canadian troops out of as many major cities and positions as possible and make their way towards their capital, Toronto, intending to capture both it and their government, if at all possible. ----------------------- The Untied Kingdom and Iberia are in uproar. With the near assassination of the Empress, and the King of Iberia now in urgent care in a Norman hospital, citizens call for the total inhalation of the French Nationalist terrorists. With the Empress by the King's bedside, Prime Minister Lord George Lancaster takes the reigns. 15,000 British Troops are sent into Normandy to act as a peacekeeping force. Norman mayors are told that if they and the armored Norman Peacekeeping Force (NPF) can't keep order, the soldiers will declare martial law in an area and make order. MI-6 and government agents are strategically placed everywhere, all over British France. In the streets, the houses of ill repute, the supermarkets, supply stores, even government offices and police stations. Any citizen who refuses to mutter the worlds "The Sun Never Sets on the British Empire" or "Long Live the Empress" would be subject to investigation, and any citizen who says "Viva Le France" would be subject to an even more intense investigation, and be placed on a special list for surprise inspection by the NPF. Any terrorists found would be taken to Rouen to be tried in a Norman court. The Order of St. George would be asked by the British to assist in rooting out these apposite terrorists, who would dare attempt to assassinate national leaders in a church, and blow up places of worship. The pro-British, French-borne Governor of Normandy, Lord Francis Pierre, issues a statement: "I am disgusted with these violent protests by what can only be known as terrorists! They have the right to protest peacefully, but this violence is barbaric! Terrorists, stop your treasonous and vulgar activities, and you will be treated fairly. Continue, and may God save your souls." -------------------- Cyprus's government capitulates to the British demands, and British troops begin to move into the island, occupying it for the time being. They give citizens the right to either return to Greece or Turkey, or to stay on Cyprus. If they decide to stay, the people of Cyprus are assured that they will enjoy all the freedoms they have had up to this point, and more. Plans are made to make a new Jewish State on the island after the Canadian war. The Caliphate is assured that the increased military presence on the island is to make sure there isn't a rebellion or a riot fest on Cyprus until things can be sorted out. The British won't maintain a military presence of more than 12,000 troops and a small task force of ships on the island after the new Jewish State has been established, though they cannot promise that New Israel itself won't create a large defense force to defend their shores.

THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA The Royal Navy had mustered on the Western Coast of France, and now began to sail northwards, along the coast of allied Greenland, with an invasion fleet of half a million men and supporting armor/artillery/planes. It would be suicide for the American Atlantic Fleet to attack the British envoy, as NBC planes from Greenland would attempt to torpedo bomb any American ships that attempted to attack the superior Royal Navy fleet in any case. The troops would move into British Newfoundland, and begin to prepare for an invasion of Canada, though the landing site has not been decided on yet. A number of ships including the aircraft carrier HMS Excalibur would be left to reinforce the fleet in Newfoundland, making it a moderately sized force willing to defend the island if the Atlantic American Fleet foolishly decides to strike. The rest of the British fleet moves into position in the heavily fortified West Azores, preparing to combat the Russian Puppet States if it comes to it. Britannia DEMANDS that the corrupt, pro-Russian Canadian government and parliament vacate office immediately, Canada renew it's vows under the British Commonwealth as a Realm, and renew their fealty to the Crown as it has over the past several hundred years. Canada will then be split into British Northwestern Canada, managed as an Imperium Province but with help and full rights to the territory granted to the Australians, and regular Canada, which will be completely independent of Britannia other than it's status as a Commonwealth Realm with the Empress as it's honorary Head of State. If these demands are not met, the remaining Canadian government will face the wrath of Britannia, and their country shall be liberated from the oppressive Russian rule governing it. Any communistic high-ranking government or military officials caught during the invasion will be tried for high treason against the Crown in a British court without fail. --------------------------- It was a peaceful day in Cyprus. But then, it wasn't. In the middle of the night, British troops stationed in Akrotiri and Dhekelia broke into the lightly guarded barracks of the Cypriots National Guardsmen stationed in the same bases. They attempt to capture the Cyproits, and take them into custody as they move to imprison their army and knock out 2/3rds of their fighting force in one blow! Britannia had signed an agreement with the Caliphate, but ing them off to allow them to take custody of the Island of Cyprus in order to create a new Jewish State on the island. Dhekelia would be ceded to the Caliphate, and all support would be withdrawn from the island on the Turkish side of it. The Caliphate threatens to reinforce its deal with the British if it comes to it. The Cypriots would be told to surrender unconditionally; a British task force is on it's way through the Mediterranean Sea as they speak, consisting of 30,000 men. If they surrender to Britannia, no harm will come to them; they will be allowed free access out of the country and into Greek or Caliphate territory, or will be allowed to stay and enjoy the privileges of democratic rule under the new Jewish State. ((Mod Requested)) If not, they will have to occupy their lands by force, and if need be, forcefully deport them off of Cyprus. It is assumed that the Greek government may try to step in to stop the creation of the new Jewish State due to their influence over the western part of the island, so out of respect for the Greeks, the fact that they're allies, and out of fear of Reclaimer Corps, the British government offers to negotiate with the Greeks if need be for the unification of the island and the creation of the Republic of New Israel. ------------- 200,000 Assorted Troops that remained in Western France, supported by LION-equipped armor, artillery, F-35s, SPGs, and all the other necessary equipment to wage war, begin to move westward to support the Greco-Italian forces in the Ukraine, intending to deal the breech that the Italians had left open by refusing to advance. They're spearheaded by the elite 1st Imperial Knights Regiment (formerly the Royal Gibraltar Regiment) and the almost terrifying British Foreign Legion, largely made up of former Israeli Defense Force members, who fought with zealously in the name of the promise of the refounding of a Jewish state. Both the Legion and the Knights would contain elements equipped with LIONCUB rifles. Though slightly unreliable at times, they would prove devastating. All aircraft, ships, and armor in the British armed forces, by this time, would be equipped with LION cannons. They had proven themselves in the War for Iberia, and would prove devastating indeed when encountered by Russian vehicles, most likely. However, as the troops move through France, the British Foreign Legion Israeli general, David Sakorski, notices something strange in Eastern France... children being escorted by soldiers from an orphanage. He asks the soldiers doing this why they are, and they simply shrug. Apparently they're to be moved to a new facility. The General, however, does not believe them. THE IMPERIUM BRITANNIA The Empress of Britannia was pissed. Very, pissed. Not only had Britannia's allies, the Americans, been hookwinked by their own government, but they had also gone against the will of their people. What was worse was that Russia was taking advantage of the situation. The British had always known that the Russians were land grabbers; they had been a necessary evil during the turbulent times of the fallen superpowers to protect Britain and western Europe as a whole. But now, they had turned North America red. British Commonwealth subjects and English-speaking American citizens were unlawfully living under a Russian puppet government. This was unacceptable to Laura Windsor. Utterly unacceptable indeed. According to recent polls, Britannia was tied with the Californian Dominion in being the second most overall powerful nation in the world; now it was time to see how Britain would wield it's new superpower status in this world. --------------- The British government denounces the Union States' leadership as "corrupt and vulgar", and the Imperium Britannia declares the United States to be as good as dead. The Imperium Britannia, therefore, declares itself the world's new Champion of Democracy; wherever undue oppression may be, Britannia shall shortly follow to liberate those under it. British forces mobilize all across the Imperium as they prepare for another possible World War. The British Foreign Legion appeals to foreigners who wish to join their cause in defending the free world. To the Israeli majority of the British Foreign Legion, a promise is made to establish a new Jewish state in one of Britain's overseas possessions after the coming conflict, however it may turn out, serving as an incentive for Jews especially to join the Foreign Legion. ((Mod Please)) 700,000 British soldiers begin the mobilization process in Normandy, consisting of elements of the Grand Royal Army including the Norman 3rd, the Scott's Guard, the Regular British Army, the British Foreign Legion, the Irish Defense Force, and the Iberian Royal Army. They are supported by 1,000 EMUs, fit-to-order by Australian factories, RAF F-35s, Challenger and Stealth Tanks, SPGs, Warrior Assault Vehicles, and Howitzer Artillery, as well as land-to-land missile launchers. All armored vehicles are now equipped with LION energy beam cannons. The Grand Imperial Army prepares to move to assist the UEDI if need be. Britannia send an ultimatum to Russio-America: "America must hold untampered elections immediately; the people of America and Canada have been betrayed by their leaders. In the name of all that is right and good, you must let Britannia's children be. If you do not, Britannia will intervene to set America free as the heir to the throne of the Free World." -------------------- The British troops stationed in Newfoundland begin the process of sweeping the island. American garrisons are asked whether or not they're loyal to the Russio-American Union, or loyal to the idea of free America itself. Those who reply yay to the former would be immediately escorted off of the island into Canadian territory. Those who reply yay to the latter would be told to immediately take up their arms and begin to set up defensive fortifications around the island. ((Mod Please)) Roughly 70,000 British soldiers in Newfoundland, consisting of 20,000 Royal Regulars and 50,000 Newfoundlanders, would begin to fortify the province, obviously preparing for a possible invasion on behalf of the Russio-American Empire. A small fleet of Royal Navy ships move to defend the island, and civilians who do not wish to risk staying in a place that may soon become a warzone are given permission to flee to the United Kingdom. ------------------- The new British handheld energy weapon, after decades and decades of strenuous work, has finally been completed. The LIONCUB is basically a less-powerful, condensed version of the LION cannon. Firing bolts of pure, blue energy, these weapons have a high recoil and a need to have their energy clips replaced after 8 semi-automatic shots. However, they can also burn holes in most combat armor and through some vehicles, making them extremely powerful weapons indeed. Live weapons demonstrations are televised on the BBC, and reporters call it the most revolutionary weapon to enter the world's armed forces since the Californian Dominion's invention of the handheld railgun. It is quickly adopted as a standard weapon, alongside the T-84 Assault Rifle, in the British Army. Factories in Iberia begin to pump them out and ship them to Normandy, hoping to arm a few battalions with them as a show of power. The British begin to research making higher-yield energy clips for the LIONCUBS. ((Mod Please)) ------------------------- The defensive pact with Japan is accepted, although the British government confusingly reminds the Japanese that although they and the Imperium Germania are one, they also function as two separate entities, completely independent of each other. The Argentine offer of trade is accepted. However, the British government reminds Argentina that the Falkland Islands and the disputed Antarctic Territory are theirs, and that is non-negotiable. Any attempt to claim either of them or seize them from the Imperium will be an act of war. As long as this provision is accepted, they would be pleased to discuss forming strong diplomatic bonds. The Empress of Britannia wishes to have a meeting with the Queen of Argentina. ((Skype PMs)) ------------------------- The mission to Mars has been successfully planned, and the mothership H.M.S Jovian Clipper prepares to leave the docks of Victoria Station, which is on high alert, prepared to shoot down any foreign missiles launched towards it with it's VI targeting system and LION cannons. OLYMPICS CLOSING CEREMONY Britannia had won but a single silver medal and a single bronze. It was quite disappointing to the British people, but at least they had won something. Plans are made to enhance their Olympics program in the upcoming years. At the Olympics closing ceremony, a large globe of the sun hangs above the stadium. A British military parade is played out on a holographic picture of the world projected onto the floor below. The soldiers begin in the United Kingdom, and depict the military history of the British Empire. They march first to France during the 100 Years War, then to America, which shortly is vacated by the troops. Slowly, the parade marches to cover Canada, Australia, South Africa, Hong Kong, and India. And then, all of a sudden, the soldiers shrink to cover only the United Kingdom and a few islands again. Solemn, saddening music is played, as this is a clear depiction of the fall of the British Empire after World War II. Then modern events are pictured, those leading to the rise of the Imperium Britannia, and the soldiers return to cover Newfoundland, the Norman Republic, Northern Iberia, Hong Kong, and the Azores. At the end, the holographic floor turns into a huge Influence Jack, and the words, "THE SUN NEVER SETS ON THE BRITISH EMPIRE" are projected across the large Sun globe. The crowd erupts into applause, although political analysts fear that foreign nations may not have liked the ceremony promoting British Imperialism... The Empress ends out the Olympics with a speech. "Thank you ALL for attending this year's Olympics Games! I hope to see all of you again as a guest like yourselves in another 4 years at the next Summer Olympics, which shall be hosted by..." She extends her hand. An Olympics committee member hands her an envelope. She opens it. "Greece!" She goes to shake the hand of the leader of Greece, smiling brightly, although clearly looking confused. She had expected Australia to get the bid... The performers move to clear the floor, and allow the Greeks to make their final ceremony, celebrating their winning of the bid for the next Summer Olympics. ((Please Post Stig))
