  1. "Just a FEW more moments," Mandru sighs as he waits to see if a few more people attend.
  2. "Jakir's doing that right now, Lyuin." Mandru replies, tapping his fingers in the armrest as he waits.
  3. "Indeed," Mandru replies, smiling. "Let us wait for more to come, Kaun."
  4. Mandru VonSchlichten sits on the throne of the crumbling, abandoned castle that he and several followers had claimed for the Clerical Order. Their new stronghold had much work to be done on it before it was completed... Mandru taps his fingers on the armrest of the throne. It didn't feel right, sitting in the chair of some lord of old... Nevertheless, it was where he would sit to preside over the meeting about to be held. Mandru would wait for the summoned Clerics of Tahariae to arrive before he begins the meeting. OOC NOTE (PLEASE READ):
  5. An armored, old man was praying atop a lonely mountain. Wind flowed past his white hair, as he knelt in his prayers, sword positioned in front of him in a cruciform position. Mandru VonSchlichten had lived a very meaningful and eventful life. From working as a doctor for VonSchlichtenCo to studying with the Delvers, to helping found the Republic of Gallmore to helping to previously command the Clerical Order, Mandru had done a great many things. And he was satisfied with his accomplishments that the Creator had blessed him with. He smirked, stopping a moment as this went through his mind as he continued to pray to the Aengul Tahariae. "...let you will, and the will of the One whom created you, be done, oh Tahariae." He muttered, as he finished his prayer. Mandru arose, taking his sword with him. He slid it back into his scabbard. It's really not my sword, he thought as he did so. In fact, the blessed blade a weapon that an unfortunate holy warrior had dropped shortly after an Undead agent had severed his soul from his body. Maybe Mandru would have the opportunity to return it someday... yet he doubted this. Until then, he would caretake it like he would the Staff of Reinheardt. "It is time," Mandru turned to a messenger, waiting patiently next to him. The messenger nodded, going to deliver a stack of letters that Mandru had written before his prayer. One would be delivered to every Cleric of Tahariae still in existence. Mandru smiled lightly. For he knew that this endeavor might very well be his last. If opened, each letter would read:
  6. "And THAT's the meaning of Krugmas, Charlie Brown!"
  7. *Yawns* Another day, another dollar...

  8. Mandru would wonder how the random man would acquire the letter, as he sent it via his personal eagle and it most likely wouldn't make any stops along it's route until the letter was delivered directly to Xath. Nevertheless, assuming the letter does NOT arrive at a reasonable time, Mandru would dispatch a herald instead to deliver his message to the Prophet of Xan.
  9. Mandru VonSchlichten writes out a simple letter, and sends it to Xath, Xan's prophet. If opened, it would read, "Greetings, Xath. This is Mandru; perhaps you remember me? I would at least HOPE that you remember me... In any case, I would wish to meet with you. Soon. I must discuss this recent splintering that I have heard of with you... an unnessisary one, at that." ~Mandru VonSchlichten
  10. MC Name: AndrewTech Time Zone: CST Focused Nexus Skill(s): I've got some skill points stored up in lumberjacking on the persona slot I'll be using, but not terribly much. -- RP Name: Francis Amirault Physical Descriptive: Francis is fairly well-built and muscular, although not particularly tall at about 5'6. He has wavy, almost greasy black hair and grey eyes. Minor Backstory: Francis Amirault is an aspiring soldier hoping to make a career out of a military regiment or order. The son of a Hansetian mother and an Avergunian father, Francis was born on the Island of Gallmore during the first days of the 1st Carrion Regime. In the Fringe, he served as a footman in the Winterguard and was trained in Imperial combat and drilling procedures. At one point, he was even considered for the rank of Sergeant by Commandant Oliver Blackwell before the dissolution of the Winterguard due to the disappearance of House Winter. Now, he sees an opportunity to begin his career anew in the Hounds. Anything else: Francis speaks in a very strange, thick accent. It sounds like a mixture of Avergunian and Hansetian/Waldenian. This is due to him being the offspring of two parents from two unique cultural groups. On occasion, Francis is shy and even outspoken, but he always follows orders from his superiors, no matter who they may be or what they may order.
  11. Mandru VonSchlichten is dissapointed that he wasn't invited. ;(

  13. Late Lord Nicholas Blackwell rolls in his grave.
  14. I am very satisfied with the artwork that Gurk has done for me. :3 Best 45 minas I've ever spent in my life. The scetches of Ailsa and Lord Nicholas Blackwell are perfect, and though I was going for a more middle-aged Mandru from the Gallmore and early fringe days, I'm very pleased with how he turned out, the first character art for a 2 year old character. Great work, and well worth the investment. +1
  15. Random Orenian lawyer notes that it's well within the rights of a lord to disown a member of his family.
  16. An official-looking poster is nailed to the notice board in Petrus by a servant of the House of Blackwell. It appears to be a declaration of some sort from a noble lord... The patriarch of House Blackwell, the revered Lord Nicholas Desmond Blackwell the I, Baron of the Realm and Lord Deputy of the Holy Oren Empire, has declared that from this day forth, Ser Christopher Blackwell is no longer to be graced with the Blackwell name, and in turn is henceforth disowned, his surname from this point forward to be recognized as "Truman". This is due to a number of reasons, including but not limited to: Direct insults to the honor of a number of his fellow kin, including his now former brother, the Lord of Blackwell, and former great-great-uncle, the honorable Hedge Knight James Blackwell. The spreading of unjust and false rumors against his House's status and the credibility of his lord. The attempted sabotage of political friendships and alliances. Venomous behavior and a plotting nature unhealthy to the name and reputation of the House. From this day forward, he is not to be recognized as a member of the honorable House of Blackwell, and is not to be entertained by any servant of the House nor any man, woman, or child carrying the honorable Blackwell name. ~Lord Nicholas Desmond Blackwell the I, Baron of the Realm, Patriarch of House Blackwell, Lord Deputy of the Holy Oren Empire Below the signature, the official seal of House Blackwell is stamped in red wax to the bottom of the declaration.
  17. Nicholas Blackwell reads the poster, frowning very deeply. "A most disgraceful sin!" He stamps it with a seal. It would read: GRANTED APPROVAL FROM THE BAILIFF OFFICE OF THE HOLY OREN EMPIRE
  18. Retired High Cleric Mandru hasn't even seen another cleric outside of their secret meetings in years... Of course, he had been there with the clerics as they had reawoken Therin and Ryth. But more honorarily. To show that he still cared about his brethren. Perhaps the awoken Itharel could make things better...? He doubted it. But in Tahariae he trusted, and in Taharaie's creator he trusted as well. These were the hope of Athera. At least the old man knew that much as he helped the clerics to free these holy beings.
  19. Retired High Cleric Mandru VonSchlichten reads the Thesis, which somehow made it's way into his hands. "...eeeeehhhhhhh... my superiors would not agree to this... no not at all. Not a half bad proposition if the Church were willing to leave them to their own autonomous leadership, but no cleric in their right minds would do such considering our past history with the Church of the Holy Oren Empire." He sips another margarita, reclining in his beach chair where he spends much of his retirement nowadays.
  20. Lord Nicholas Blackwell grins, clapping for the newlyweds as they embrace, having attended the wedding as a Fournier guest. "Creator give you many long and happy years together, and may your offspring be blessed as well!"
  21. The author of the Acts wipes sweat from his brow when he reads the amendment. Now he doesn't have to worry about flustered feminist activists vandalizing his manor!
  22. ((Please bump it up 30 minutes to 6:30 CST? I've got dinner to eat around that time. ;.; Also I'll be attending. Give me coords via Skype or forums.)
  23. ((UPDATE #3: -Added the title "Lord Deputy of the Small Council" to Lord Nicholas Blackwell's list of achievements. -Added Christopher Blackwell to the list of living family members. -Updated history to reflect current times. -Removed Order of St. Amyas due to disbandment. -Added House Pascal, setting status to Neutral, House de Savoie, setting status to Neutral, and boyar House Fournier, setting status to Friendly. -House Horen status set to Friendly due to Lord Edmund Horen being Lord Blackwell's coworker and superior in the Office of the Bailiffs. NOTE: Will still accept people wishing to play a Blackwell of any sort, female or male, adult or child. Just shoot me a PM!))
