"Oren, if it loses, shouldn't be pressed to the point of Exodus. Major RP hubs like Johannesburg or St. Karlsburg shouldn't be torn down". I hate Savoy for destroying Adria. Not ic hate, but ooc hate because what they did was ooc contrived. They wanted to, and eventually did, wipe out a RP community which was the second funnest time I had on this server since Kralta in Anthos. I wouldn't let my hate sink into RP, but I won't pretend like it doesn't piss me off still. If anything, I am a bit more humble from it nowadays. I wouldn't be happy if it happened to them either, and while I think Snow Elves are dumb, I don't approve their destruction. If they got enough people, let them be alive somewhere if it makes them happy. Take them over, vassalize them, just don't wipe something out that wants to exist. Edit: I felt the same with Courland as I didn't approve of their ooc treatment, even if I am upset that Vege has gone to ooc extremes nowadays. His recent behavior may be a result of his ooc treatment back on Vailor.

I feel like cultural and racial diversity is at a low. Everything post Sultan leaving Lotc has been a downhill for me.

It seems so much harder to get the things to do alchemy than any other profession.

Well to be fair, it makes sense alchemy would be that way. Alchemical reagents in real life are typically made from fairly difficult to make or isolate. Aqua vitae, that's pure ethanol. Sometimes real life alchemists needed a specific plant, in specific geographical conditions, and at the right point of the year so that the humors in it were balanced or something. Alchemy is, never was, and never should be, easy. And while it might be harder to get the ingredients than, say, enchanting, you can fill up to three bottles at a time with an alchemy stand, while with enchanting you can only make one at a time, and it takes a long time to make the enchant books and then enchant the gear.
