  1. ((Wasn't bringing my character back you mug it was rp from a while ago))
  2. Strung up, the dwed hung from his wrists bonded higher than he could stand. Every passing second was inconceivable agony, the weight he bore on himself seemingly getting heavier and heavier as he got weaker and weaker. This once proud Ireheart was reduced to nothing more than the cold and damp abode he was locked in, drips and scurries of rats were the only things telling him he was still alive. The cell was not designed for a dwarf, his feet only just touched the ground, which made the pain that bit more unbearable. His overgrown hair was all one would see if they passed the cell, it draped over his face and covered half his body. Of course nobody came to the cell, once a week he would receive an hour to run around and a weeks worth of stale bread and rotten cheese. His palms were black with grime and dirt, his feet blistered and cut and his once black and orange uniform was faded and ripped. Many thought he was dead, they cared not to look for him, but he did not hold it against them, in times of such adversity sacrifices had to be made. Luck had run out for this prisoner, he could feel death surrounding him like a vulture as he got weaker. He was losing hope, however much he reiterated in to his mind that he wasn't. Three years. He didn't know what the day was, he only knew he was due to be taken down from the shackles soon, he had almost completed his punishment, and all he longed for was to lie down, to hit the cold floor and relieve his arms from the excruciating pain they had held for the last four days. A cackling Uruk laugh plagued the hallways as a torchlight got noticeably closer. An Uruk and a dark elf opened the cell, the dwarf not lifting his head for them, they walked up to the dwarf laughing and taunting in a malevolent manner "Enjoy your sleep?" The elf chuckled in his nasal voice, he grabbed the dwarf's hair, ripping upwards violently and revealing the skinny, pale face of the prisoner. Disappointed, the elf looked at his Uruk, not getting a response from the prisoner. "Hmm looks like we've finally beaten the insubordination out of him". Both laughed evilly and preceded to unlock the dwarf from the wall, chaining his hands together. The Uruk placed a metallic tray with a cup of muddy water and bread, it was odd, before they had just tossed the meals on the floor, never shown the courtesy of a tray. He recognised the tray however, it had sat in Lori's house before the city fell, only the sides seemed like they had been serrated, the dwarf had a keen eye for metals, as he was a smith in his old life. For the dwarf it was clearly a sign. The two guards turned to leave, "Oi" the Dwed said quietly, to which the two turned back around abruptly. Seemingly in a single movement the dwarf kicked the raised corner of the tray to flip it in to his hands and used the wall as a springboard to jump towards the Uruk, slicing the sharpened tray across his neck. Stunned the elf drew his sabre, but it was too late. Both guards lay slain on the floor. He unlocked his shackles and armed himself. The dwarf looked at the tray, he knew someone hadn't forgot, he knew someone remembered. Out of the cell he paced, the sweet taste of fresh air teasing him as he climbed a staircase towards the surface. The light was blinding, he remembered the view clearly, his office used to be here. He placed both feet on the tray, and leant forward down the snowy peak. Freedom. ((Written on iPad so it's probably really poorly structured

  4. You misconstrue my words, and the blindingly insulting response you have just bestowed upon me have faltered the praise I heaped upon you. I meant that to make such a large decision without consulting us breaches the trust we have in you when vesting such authority to you. Us as people wish to trust the king, with our advice, not to make such huge decisions without conversing with the senate. Failure to do so ultimately ends in heated debates such as these when you are enforcing perhaps controversial political change.
  5. Considerin yer a dwed in 'high standing position, it's nae good to slam a representative of t'e Ireheart clan when he voices his concern and distaste for a decision. Yeh should take it on the chin and instead attempt to address the concern. Just because bastion has only recently returned does nae make his opinion any less valid t'an yers, in fact it may even do the opposite as his mind is nae corrupted by the dwarven system that gets beaten in to the minds of our beard longs and instead is fresh and new. We need change nae the same old system governed by the same burnt out dwedmar who can't take it forward. Ah say this with respect, Balek is one of the best kings weh have ever had, however his illness is in poor stead and it looks as if there is a long road of recovery. Ah would reckon around close to a stone month before he is better and fit to rule. After his two or three stone months in charge ah think it would be better if he stepped down so that weh could actualleh do something the next stone weeks instead of lingering for his recovery. 6. "Per'aps consultin t'e senate first would 'ave prevented us from inferin'!"
  7. Vorstag voices openly his concern for this decision "Yeh 'ave nae consulted aneh of t'e Senate, t'is is an impeachment of t'e Authoriteh trsuted in yeh."
  8. Dungrimm's Folk (Watch the video before you read the post please.) “The day that we forsake unity for petty rivalries and greed is the day we fall. I end this book with only words that I wish for all dwarves to one day heed. Stand as one and we are capable of achieving any length of greatness. Stand alone however and we will die alone.” Paragon Valen Grandaxe, Shortly before ascent to the halls of Khaz'A'Dentrumm Dungrimms Folk are the band of the Dwarven elite. Bound by blood, these Dwedmar are tasked in serving the Brathmordakin, upholding the morals set our ancestors and protecting the Dwarven people . This Clan of hardened veterans have forsaken the greed of petty politics and started life anew. Free of power grabs and fancy titles, petty rivalries and corrupt government, an alternative to the scrutinised Legion. The Folk are selected for their skill in both Melee and ranged combat, training entails more than formation and subordination, the Order strives to rather cherish the individual traits and creativity that the Dwed can muster and use them as a weapon against foes. Simple Tactical methods that the Legion have used in recent years - (leading to the death of many Dwed) are both impractical and outdated. Studying the “Science” that warfare is, in it’s essence is training and rewarding to a warrior. The Folk do not believe in the boundaries of Clans. Together, we are all brothers, regardless of Clan and sub race. This being said, it is equally accepted to stay fully affiliated to one's respective clan and fully appreciated to respect one’s heritage. History As a relatively new Order, Dungrimm’s folk’s path is yet to be taken, it’s story still to be written. This isn’t to say that the Order is not experienced, quite the contrary. The Folk consist of largely longbeards, Ironbreakers and Officers of the Legion, facing countless a enemy on the field during their time, and wholey proving their worth as esteemed an honorable folk of the Dwarven people. The difference between the Legion and the Folk is that the Folk answer to the needs of the Dwarven people rather than the establishment of Urguanian society,, it isn’t about standing in line and following orders, tidying your cot or cleaning your tabard; it is about standing united for the greater good, which in many cases is the same interest as the Kingdom. Initially the concept of Dungrimm’s Folk was pitched by the late Grand King Vorstag Ireheart, who passed proprietary rights of the Folk to his Son’s upon his untimely death, who then passed the title of “Rikkin” to his youngest brother, Vorstag II, a Dwarf who bears many similarities to his father. Pvrpose Simply, the folk strive to entertain an era of prosperity and safety within the Dwedmar. Protecting Dwedmar and the rights of all Dwarves and purging the corruption that lurks in all corners of society. The folk believe in the Dwedmar living up to their full potential, being a Folk of Dungrimm is a way of life, a mindstate, it’s achieving the greatest feats that are physically possible. Capability is inside every Dwarf, the trick is unlocking it and harnessing it. Secondarily, the Folk believe strongly in the purging of Dark Creatures, it is c ommon for the Folk to sally out on a “Monster Hunt” type affair, if this creature is a threat to the Urguan or her allies. Faith All Folk are unconditional supporters of the Brathmordakin. They are all required to show sacrifice for their patron God along with monthly pilgrimage and weekly prayer. Doubt of faith results in immediate discharge until belief is fully restored, faith is the means of teaching all Dwarves the correct morals and ideals that all Atherians should swear by. The Folk will answer to the Clergy if they so required it. Medals & Honors Medal of Dungrimm Awarded for showing gallantry in battle Medal of Urguan Awarded for showing brotherhood in all fields Medal of Victory Awarded for leading consecutive victories.
