*the setting is a generic ship out at sea*
*Airwalk steps out onto the deck from the hold below, the wind blows his cloak around, but he doesn't seem to mind. He nervously watches the dark clouds up ahead, hoping they won't interfere with his journey around Anthos, but doesn't quite grasp how quickly storms can travel over the sea*
"Aye Captain!" *he bellows out to a gruff looking man, standing a little bit away, yelling at a sailor*
"what do ye need Mr. Umbrage!" *the captain and the crew call out as one, they had liked this man for his bluntness and perhaps more for the fine amount of money he was paying*
"How much longer until we reach our destination?" *he yells as the winds pick up, drowning out his voice*
"I dunno my good man! Just pray the storm doesn't wre-" *the Captain, is cut off as suddenly a gust of wind blows the sails and ropes about madly. One of the main sails gets tangled up by a stray rope, untied by a lazy sailor*
*Airwalk spots the tangled up sail almost immediately, his eyes widen as he feels the ship tilt slightly under his feet. Gritting his teeth, he makes his way to the mast, and climbs up, holding his dagger in his teeth.*
"Aye Mr. Umbrage! What're you doing!" *the captain calls out to Airwalk in between yelling orders to his now scrambling sailors*
*Airwalk doesn't answer, as he reaches the tangled up line and inspects it. It's positioned so that it can't be cut normally, Airwalk would have to put his dagger underneath the rope, and pull. With some effort, Airwalk manages to get the dagger under the rope, and begins sawing madly. Just as he's about to cut through, the boat is hit with another gust of wind, and Airwalk pulls the dagger too quickly, and slashes his throat. As he falls down, his lasts thought are about how stupid of a mistake he just did, and hopefully he was able to save the rest of the crew. The man who was so careful in life, the man who took every precaution, fell to the deck of the ship after accidently cutting his throat, quickly rolling off the boat and into the sea.*
*the Captain didn't have enough time to worry about Airwalk, he quickly calls out to the sailors to turn around, AIrwalk had freed the tangled up sail, and with some effort, the whole crew made it away from the storm in one piece. Once they reached Anthos again, the Captain quickly began writing to all the people that Airwalk had mentioned during the journey, sending them notice of his death.*
*the letter is as follows*
Dear whomever this may concern,
Airwalk Umbrage is now dead. There is no way to put this gently, he died to save me and my crew and may he live on in yours and our hearts forever.
~An anonymous Captain~
*the letter would be sent out to anyone that was on good terms with Airwalk*
((TL:DR version. Airwalk is dead permanently))
