— The House af Brasca Returns, A Fifth Time — fter years of living as refugees in foreign lands, we have finally made the journey to the new Empire, uncertain but hopeful. With the collapse of the Empire of Man, our family became homeless, hiding out in the caves and under bridges. Now, with the vindication of the Orenian cause, we see fit to return from hiding. The question arises: where should we settle after so many years in exodus? To answer this, we look to ancestral ties. Nearly eight hundred years ago, our forebearers from our parent house owed an oath of fealty to none but themselves. After searching through countless documents, this is the oldest oath we ever swore to any liege. Hence, we seek to honor this ancient bond and restore our connection to our independence. When you make a forum post, with the content of the forum post just being an image you have formatted to be, admittedly, a work of art, you are making it unreadable for many people. For starters, mobile users, which is the vast majority of users, have a hard time reading anything. Additionally, folks with visual impairments or other disabilities that rely on screen readers have little to no chance to understand the content. There is a simple solution. Post your fancy image formatting, yes. But at the end, put a spoiler with the unformatted plaintext. It will take you just a few more seconds and vastly increase the amount of the playerbase who can enjoy your content. Also, images break for a variety of reasons. Five years from now, when roleplay historians are digging up whatever missive you posted, they will find a broken image link. Your content will be lost to time. By pasting plaintext too, you preserve it for posterity.
