  1. The orc culture is also based on native american culture as well if you are interested. We're the Navajo of the server. (If you're familiar with the Navajo, you'll know that they were raiders while most other native americans were actually farmers. If you didn't, you do now :D)
  2. You're baaaaaack! I also look forward to some awesome events that you do.
  3. I agree with the forced conquest. Not only does it make sense RPly, but it could lead to some very interesting RP. Here is an example: Back when I was new to the server, the uruks were fighting a civil war with the Uzg against the Azogs. I remember BoogerBuster doing some awesome shamanism RP to prepare ourselves for the pvp oriented Azogs. However, both he and I realized that in a war, the Azogs would probably win. That made our uruks uneasy. We did underground stuff to prepare a resistance in case the unthinkable did happen if the Azogs and dark shamanism prevailed. Every day people were preparing for this war, and it was fun. Perhaps I deal with the stress of foreign invasion differently from other people though. The only things that I would be concerned about would be the foreign influence over the conquered people and people's reactions. I'm concerned that it'd be more like orc slavery of "get in the cages!" more than an armed occupation like the one that led to the American Revolution where the soldiers didn't want to be there guarding people they were just fighting and the conquered not wanting them there. On the problem of how people react to being conquered and quitting, there is no good solution. However one could argue that with those people quitting it mimics the fact that the losing faction probably lost most of its fighting men (and women) in the war that they lost. Anyway, I'm still a noob and my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt if not with the whole shaker.
  4. I eagerly await the construction so I may add the trophies of many raids to my uruks collection!
  5. Which race is your fav to rp? If not orc, why isn't it orc?!
  6. I think that this could be a fun idea, kinda like the Uzong-Vong (not sure how to spell it) from Star Wars. Or like the tyranids from warhammer 40k. They're here to conquer.
  7. You won't get this accepted as a player race. However, you could augment it to a monster race for slightly better success at being accepted.

I'll miss you Elad, you're a awesome ET member. Even though your computer sucks.
  9. Kol chuckles at hearing these treaty "Ob kurze dey nub enklude da urukz... dat wuld bi tu hurd!"
  10. Wonderful... It's great to see you took the time to make this!

If I weren't a dirt-elf I'd accompany you guys, although I have met Kol ICly at my first feast weeks ago, if you remember. ;o

Just make an uruk. Uruks too strong. We are having tons of rp and tons of people joining/coming back to the uruks, it is great.

I would, but learning Blah and creating a decent persona just for the sake of an event sounds meh to me. I'll probably just show up and get klomped. xD

  13. Kol grins hearing the speech and searches for his Lur brethren to orchestrate a hunt for suitable sacrifices.
  14. I've got to be honest, I'm wondering why orcish rp is nil of late.

  15. I was thinking of it being more compact, without whoever's browsing it having to look through each link to find a monster they want. People make really cool monsters that fit the events that ET are looking for, it just takes too much work to actually find it. That's where an abridged and compact compendium could help.
  16. Well, the idea would be that this could help an ET do what they want, with quick access monsters that are still detailed and fun to use.
  17. Thank you all for your information! Please feel free to delete this thread forum moderators as it has served its purpose. Thanks!
  18. Hey guys, I figured since I wanted feedback on this idea that it should go here but if I'm wrong don't mind correcting me. Anyways, getting to the meat of the subject I wanted to talk about the creatures and events for Athera. It kinda seems difficult to use a new monster for an event (like basilisks, giant moles, etc.) and so event teams use more mainstream animals/monsters for their events (giant snakes, bears, Lur wolves, etc) My thought and idea that i want feedback on is making a monster manual (like they do for D&D) to catalog the monsters with all their strengths, weaknesses, and attributes in one place so that it's not only easier for someone to find the monster they're looking for for an event, but maybe could even lead to more people to use their monster ideas since it's more organized and can allow people to branch off from the more mundane encounters. So, what is your view on it? Has it already been tried? If so, what was the outcome of it last time. Thank you for your feedback and time. I look forward to hearing from you guys. -XSKip-
  19. Hrm, no response. Move me to the denied pile then please. Thanks!
  20. Hey, I was just concerned about the fact that there seem to not be any branches that a woodworker could use to craft into staffs. I talked to other players and they say that you can't find any. I was wondering if this was a bug or whether this was intentional. Thank you for your time -XSKip-
  21. Hey, he's trying to add and contribute to the server. Is that bad? Personally I think that if this is really worked on and enough people support it, it can go somewhere. Just like it was the hard work and effort from people to actually added Kharajyr to the races. Right now however, would not be that time. You have good ideas. Store this one and bring others to the land of Athera!
  22. Dear Event Team Due to my own willfulness and want to know where I stand, I would really like that you say whether or not it's approved. I'd rather know that I haven't made it and starting to work on improving myself than waiting in a half hopeful limbo. I trust that you'll make the best decision for the server and if I am not the best decision, I hope to improve until I am. I await your response. Thank you for your time, -XSKip-
