The Plea for Ecclesiastical Unity and Purity Benedicat tibi Dominus et Cusodiat. Benedicat te Omnipotens Deus. Amen. In response to the recent pox that is heresy and divisive dissent that has taken hold of our precious Empire, Our Holy Church is in pain. We are hurting. We are loosing the battle for the souls of the living. In recent weeks, our moral authority has dwindled, as we stand a hollow shell of GOD's divine majesty. It is through his Grace that we carry on, and it is because of his Grace that we must act upon these trying times. The following are key issues that must in some way be addressed by the Faith, for such is crucial to our very survival! -Heresy, no matter what face is wears, defies the will of GOD and the Holy Church of the Canon, and is illness. A deathly illness that cannot under any circumstance be permitted to exist, endure, or be nurtured while the Church of the Canon stands. -The violence that has been spreading, devouring, and consuming our great Empire has continued long enough, and has grown to a point that the Church can no longer idly fret on the consequences. Of the wars. The smallfolk are unprotected as the war consumes innocent villages in fire and blood. The suffering being inflicted upon the burghers, the innocent, the men without a voice. Exploitation is what it is. Wanton attacks on clergymen in villages by both heretics, and infidels marauding and rampaging upon the innocent cannot persist. Quae iniquitas patenibus devorans atgue consumens magni imperii multo atrocior crevit Ecclesia non frustra contendere in re consequatur. De bellis. Plebius sint, unt consumat in bello innocentem, sanquinem, et ignem, et in villas. Dolor municipum quibus infertur, innocentes viri sine imperio. -The opulent and gilded halls of sin, hedonism, and debauchery absolutely cannot be allowed to stand in communion with the hallowed and pious halls of the Faith. Vile dens of such inequity can no longer be permitted to exist without checks and the authority of the Lord coming down as fire and brimstone on the devilish dens of sin. Any establishment promoting the vices and sins of an unholy and immoral existence should then be brought to GOD's light and baptized in fire and anointed with the ashes of the sins it facilitated. - The orthodoxy of our faith must be preserved. Our current methodology on interacting with converts to Canonism, or lack thereof, is inadequate, for from contact, intercourse, and communication which borne Canonists have with the converts from infidel and pagan faiths, whom will inevitably attempt in various ways to seduce faithful Canonists from our Holy Faith. Sacred Doctrine shall be soiled by their filth. It is only through the re-education of those converts whom have strayed away from the ecclesiastical doctrine and Canon law and reverted tot heir savage past that we may preserve the sacred and divine order of the Church. Orthodoxiam fidem debet. -Heresy spreads as wildfyre. It permeates deep within our cities and towns and villages, and shadows the land through not just the word of mouth, but via publications and institutions. In order to impede the spread of heretical ideology, it is crucial that we as a church establish authority over institutions and publications that would otherwise seek to divert the faithful and spread evil and dreadful heresies across the land. Indexes of censorship must be mandated by his holiness to include all vernacular translations and interpretations of holy texts and religious thesi. In order to prevent the spread of heresy much as one would utilize a handkerchief to prevent the spread of disease. Total prohibition of the printing, reproduction, and translation of publications resident to the Indexes of Censorship must be enforced, and the authors and publishers of such foul products ought be baptized in the light and anointed with the ashes of their sinful tomes. Other vile forms of heresy and infidelity must also be placed under divine law and authority, in cased including but not restricted to: -Blasphemy against GOD and the Church, to include verbal offences against thy neighbor, questionable statements on religious affairs and beliefs, issues of sexual morality, immoral misbehavior by members of the clergy, and fornication outside of marriage. -Bigamy, the marriage of one person whilst he is still married to another in the eyes of the Church and of GOD. -Sodomy and Rape, a true evil in the eyes of GOD and men alike. The Judgement of the lord is final, in accordance with our teachings, however the facilitation of his divine judgement falls to our Sacred Church here within the mortal fold. It is this fragile mortality that requires the authority of the Church to be stretched throughout all the Empire. Jurisdiction to einforce the faith of the Canonist Church and ensure that darkness can no longer hold hostage the souls of the mortal realm. It is to this, the Unitatem en Regnum Dei that requires policing of the law of the Regnum. For the Kingdom cannot exist without the Sacred Law, and the Sacred Law cannot exist without it's defenders, those whom will uphold it and bring those whom seek to defy it to justice. Many would ask how the Church could aim to enforce the faith and ensure that heresy is routed from our cities- the answer of course is the formation of a Divine Rite. A Specially formulated police force to ensure that sin has no place in Oren, that herest has no safe haven, and that infidels have no warm bed at night. A Divine Rite, which could take up arms not against the secular enemies of the state in the name of the church, as the Holy annointed Knights already do valiently. Rather, a force that would wage war against sin. The sins that hold captive the good people of the Empire. A force above the law, granted authority over all men, as GOD intends. All whom turn against GOD, regardless of their status, would face a Tribunal of ordained Priests, specially formed as High inquisitors. A force then would ensure that the smallfolk of Oren would no longer fear wanton raids by heretical occults seeking to facilitate destruction and evil. Inqusitors that could protect the common man, from sin, and those whom facilitate it. For it is through divinity and the Holy Faith that Oren can be made great again. That the Church can be made holy again. That our GOD can be made paramount again. God bless. Deus Benedicat.

Father Adolf Gotthold would place his vote, after a long and reverent prayer. His vote would be for Cardinal (Georgiy Nikovich), to make an attempt at legitimizing the ever-pious Cardinal's claim as High Pontiff and settle any further dissent. After placing his vote, he'd seat himself and continue his wordless, deep meditation.

thesis Thesis on Controversy and Positive Change
PariahFolk posted a topic in Vailor Roleplay Archive
A theological analysis on change, controversy, and the faith, by Adolf Gotthold, Acolyte and Theologian. Long have we known hierarchy is a constantly evolving creature. It has many faces. It has many names. It has many personalities. The structure of any system, regardless of its fundamental foundation, is ultimately subject to change with the sands of time. It will inevitably succumb to alteration. It is a phantasmagorical thing- change. Change is one of society’s greatest fears, often viewed as an enemy to stability, yet it is the fuel of the people, crucial to the longevity of any healthy system of order. Controversy oftentimes falls hand in hand with the progressive winds of change. As controversy sets in, change comes to pass in response. Yet, like change, controversy is often viewed as toxic to society: toxic to stability, and even morality. Yet, as change is crucial to maintaining social balance and ensuring any system remains absolute- remains alive, so too is controversy. Whomever said that controversy harmed all men has lied. Controversy is in fact crucial to provide a stark contrast between the moral majority and the immoral minority which is the cause of controversy. All mankind is inherently moral, with the same goal to obtain eternal splendor at the time pleasing to our creator. Yet, as sheep that have strayed from the vigilant shepherd, so too are men whom stray away from commandments, and transgress such holy doctrines. This, one may decree, is controversy. A correct assertion. However, for morality to be measured, one must have such a negative scale to contrast to the moral majority, to highlight the true goodliness of the people whom hold true to their faith, to morality, and to spirituality. Why then, we must ask ourselves, do we so criticize the very existence of controversy? Here’s my opinion on the matter. We ostracize the concept of controversy because we fear. We are terrified of controversy taking hold of ourselves. We fear becoming the subject of controversy. Return to the ultimatum of morality then. If all of us are inherently moral, then why do we stray? Our creator instilled within us what is known to mortal men as free will. Free will to stray or to remain in a state of grace. The right to stray from holiness and away from piety. Controversy is the classification we grant to those whom we had previously believed to be of a higher level of piety, those we should expect to remain true to the faith, to morality, and to themselves. Because of the existence of free will, controversy is fundamentally inevitable. Controversy should then, not be perceived by the moral majority as a pox on their own personal morality, rather, than the Segway into change for their own existence thanks to the example of those whom have done wrong. While is holds true that those whom have stirred controversy have fallen from grace, the moral majority have not in fact strayed. You should take comfort in your own morality, and the competence it takes to remainpious. You, along with the rest of the moral majority, are called to respond to controversy with a humble spirit, a contrite heart, and an indifferent perspective, and to inevitably utilize the controversial subject to bring about a change for the good. To peacefully, quickly, and effectively bring out change in society- in the pursuit of ultimate morality and benevolent holiness. Therefore, why ostracize the existence of controversy? Why not simply respond?' -

Out-Of-Character Information What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: PariahFolk How old are you?: I am 16 Years old Are you aware the server is PG-13 : I am very Well aware. Have you applied to this server before?: No, I have not. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: I have and Do. What’s the rule you agree with the most?: Your Rule against cyberbullying. I myself have been victimized in the past, and understand the pain. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?: Your rules seem fair an straightforward, not unlike the rules I’ve seen on most Roleplay servers. How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I have been referred here by some friends from another Role-play server. Definitions Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! What is roleplaying?: “Roleplay is Life”, but no, in all seriousness, roleplaying is take on the alternate persona of a character that either you yourself have created, or you have taken on from popculture (Such as Game of Thrones). What is metagaming?: My personal definition of Metagaming would set it as the spread of In Character or Context information while Out of Character, which in my humble opinion lends a significant disadvantage and or advantage to parties involved in such actions. It’s purely unethical, and I loathe it with a deep unending passion. What is powergaming?: In the past, I’ve called Powergaming ‘God-Roleplay’. To put it simply, it is the act of making an action unconditionally absolute, giving to flexibility to the other party involved in the Roleplay. I have experienced this mostly while in combat situations, and again, I stand by that it is an unethical practice. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: Darius Tiberan Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Finley is a Northerner Human Character’s age: 34 Biography: Darius is a humble farmer. He was born into the Tiberan Family, a decent Clan of Northerners that had recently settled in Athera in Petrus. He came out with quite the clean birth, to surprise, and was a cherished child in his beginning, until his years would soon progress. Nevertheless, as a child Darius was loud, very loud. He really would hardly ever shut up, going on and on about gibberish and nothing that made any sort of sense. He would often be kept in a closed room with his caretakers, and this caused even more problems. Soon enough, Darius moved to Siegrad, a Village north of Petrus with Algarius, his Brother. Running was nearly a hobby of Darius', and he would always try to make his way out. The first three years of his life were hectic, and he was a horrid child in his first years. Though this was not to last for a long time, as one day the young lad slipped on a slippery slope while running, falling several feet down to a ledge. He landed on his right knee and left arm. Luckily, he survived the fall, his arm healing, however the knee never truly healed. Darius began to cultivate his crops at the age of 14. He so far has seen many wars and struggles for power in Athera. Most recently, he has seen the Urguan and Uzg wars spike up, leading him to fear for the safety of himself and his Crops. Following the Murder of King Andrik by the elves, Darius made an attempt to join the army, however was of course rejected, as his movement remains and likely will remain too impaired by his old injury. He is noted to fear more war, and still sees many harsh conflicts striking up around his quiet home. While he cannot go to war himself, he fears he might be called upon to defend his home and his family soon, well noted as his greatest of fears. Personality Traits: Social Adventurous Protective Assertive Stubborn Cautious Ambitions: Strengths/Talents: Darius is a brilliant farmer, purely circumstantial as he is incapable of true combat due to his childhood injury in the knee. He keeps his crops healthy even in the harsh climates, and is remarkable when cultivating his harvest. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Darius has a right-knee injury from slipping down a slope as a child, leading to impaired movement and combat skills. He is also quite easy to manipulate, leading to social complications in the long-term. Appearance: Darius is 6.1 feet tall and weighs 203 pounds, and has a body fat percentage of 18% The rest is muscle, and being quite muscular, but also slightly fond of food, his body has a healthy layer of fat evenly placed around him, making his build quite vast and ‘buildfat’ like. His shoulders are wide, his chest broad, and his arms strong. His legs are also quite muscular and large. His skin tone lies on nr. 14 on the scale. Though he isn’t too hairy, his chest, arms and legs have an evenly placed amount of dark hairs, though not too much on his chest. Darius’ head shape is somewhere between mildly square and oval, making his structure both broad, firm and relaxed. His lips are of the cupid’s bow type; relatively large and defined, his blue eyes are small and thin, and his nose and ears quite average. Appearance, please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin:
