      Bows are broken, what? their only counter is the shield which blocks all damage, yet the shield is useless in all other combat conditions.

      Have you not noticed that bows don't shoot as far unless you literally hold it down for like 5 seconds? In 1.8 as soon as you pulled it all the way back and let it go you could snipe people easily.
