  1. I really like this, especially the part where Runesmiths can only make so many runes before their previous runes loose power. One thing that confused me was the Hammer and Chisel part, as it seems both are needed to create the runes, but the post says the hammer creates, while the chisel removes?
  2. Don’t forget the Players who make “Tough, but caring, quiet, strong, never looses a fight, tall, muscular, great at everything, attractive, but doesn’t act like it...” characters
  3. hey i’d like a skin or two for my dwarf, 2k Minas for it
  4. I love this. It’s unique, and obviously well thought-out. The pictures very much helped keep everything straight, as there are a lot of moving parts. My suggestion is to add some lore about WHY you have to make stones, and then why you have to make circles instead of treating the stones as something like an arcane focus. I would love to see this implemented!
  5. I don’t think they should. If you have a pre-loaded flintlock, even against a ready opponent, it would feasibly take one emote to draw and shoot, and being highly lethal. I saw something about Crossbows are already in, why not musket? But the thing with firearms is that they are concealable, faster projectile speed, and can deal more with armor because of their higher speed and lower surface area. They just seem to be OP, like why would anyone learn, say, evoc magic for combat when that takes multiple emotes, when you could just draw a gun and shoot, killing most people and certainly incapacitating nearly everything you draw on. I’d even think it could lead to less sword type RP, as it would just make more sense to use, train, and carry the superior weapon, effectively changing the general feel of RP on the server.
  6. I would come back to LotC just to play wonks.
  7. On the roads again

After hundreds of years working in the royal mines of Kal'Tarak, collecting and owning most of the riches that the Earth has, Dor decided to pursue different kind of riches: the experience of connecting with the peoples of Atlas. He is a traveling cave dwarf merchant, who's desire is to experience the richness of experiences with other individuals he encounters in his trade, but after spending most of his life collecting ores and riches, and due to the curse of Iblees, Dor can sometimes revert to his over-materialistic mindset; sometimes regrettably at the cost of others. He is a wise dwarf, fond of talking, but he is not sure what he will encounter in his travels, so he has not developed a "trusting" or a "skeptical" mindset yet, but it will come with time. As with most dwarves, he has an undying loyalty to the Kingdom of Kal'Ulrah, but he is wise enough to appreciate other cultures for what they are, willing to get invested and involved, but does not care for pointless politics; only what is right, and what is wrong. Dor's mother gifted him a sapphire when he came of age, and with him being very close to his mother, adopted the sapphire as him favorite item. The gem is sewn into his clothes he wears.
