  1. Etiquette hen court Issued on the 4th, of Dragon’s Flame of the year 11 of AST. SUMMARY/INTRODUCTION The following is a set of guidelines; explanations of the expectations which well cultured citizens of the realm ought to emulate. The court of our Grand Principality is the center of our honor, and is given weight only by the reverence which is shown within its chamber. Therefore to bring honor and grace to the court is to accept these standards upon one’s self; and the rejection of these principles reveals much more than just one’s lack of respect for the Prince and his Peace. Definitions In Court: In the presence of any gathering, or dedicated place of the Prince and Royal Family will be known as ‘The Court’. The prominent examples are the courtroom itself during ceremonies, the capital Palace, and any social gathering at which the Royalty or Nobility is principally involved. Ceremonies: Any organized event of royal/noble significance, lasting from the opening until the closing of the occasion. Hospitality: Active and mutual attention with one’s friends or acquaintances. Includes the exchange of gifts and giving honorable greetings to a friend’s House and kinsmen. Physical Bearings in Court Encouraged Behaviors - Stand with high posture Legs firm and straight when standing, and bent perfectly at the knee when sitting. Men position their legs parallel to each other at the knees, while women cross their legs at the knees. When standing, arms are either held straight at the side or bent directly at the elbow, with the hands either joined in front of the abdomen or behind the spine. - When addressing those around, speak in a whisper It is most appropriate, when speaking to one or a few nearby acquaintances, to carry one’s voice at the lowest tone which one is able to. Primarily, to ensure that conversations do not impede the proceedings of court, and secondly, to emphasize the attention that one must take to fully understand the meaning of one’s speech. - When addressing the court or the Sovereign, speak in a clear, loud voice It is most appropriate, when addressing the attendants of the court, and especially the Royalty of the Realm, that one ensures their message is clearly given to all. It is imperative when in such a position of attention that one upholds the best display of their civility. - (For Nobility) Humbly set the standard Nobility are charged to be the public example of the most distinguished and respectable citizenry. Therefore, they must always be seen carrying themselves in the most honorable forms, and be heard to use the most dedicated and precise language. Such things inspire trust in one’s countrymen and appreciation for virtue in all citizens. To note; it is dishonorable for a noble or group of nobles to compete with each other to out-display each other with increasingly elegant dress, for all should reserve it to the Royalty to adorn themselves in the most distinguished garments and jewels. - (For Royalty) Dedication to Regality Royal persons are expected at all times to acknowledge what they are; the living essence of the Realm. As such, these must comport themselves with only as much honor as they would compel others to render to their crown. To achieve this aim, the royalty is always seen to act, dress, and speak in such ways that inspire reverent awe in their subjects and enforce the interests of the people. - Maintain the order of pets and children Any young children and wards, as well as pets and other dependent entities, are expected to be at the constant attention of their caretaker at all times. Whether this is a parent, relative, or otherwise designated guardian, none of the above listed subjects should be seen out of the control of their overseer. - (For Generals) Comport oneself with Stoic Honor For men of such heavy and hallowed duty, word must be little, and action much. As such, it is not appropriate for the distinguished captains and generals of the realm to be seen consumed by various energetic cares during court, but must at all times be a rock upon which the glory of our realm stands. For this reason Generals are bid to limit conversation for the duration of court and ceremonies, only speaking when called upon to do so, and when called, speaking with the authority and dignity bestowed upon them by the Crown. - (For Soldiers) Display universal respect It is for the sake of every Aeltarosi citizen, merchant, child, and priest which calls this island a common home; that the soldiers of the realm gather for their protection. From these citizens, our fighting force is fed, and to these citizens our soldiers sacrifice their honor and lives. Therefore any man shall be greatly dishonored who takes up a false enmity with a soldier of the realm, and any soldier will call such dishonor upon his own self if he takes up enmity with a subject of his Sovereign. Such is the manifest command of the Prince’s Peace. Discouraged and Dishonorable Behaviors - Consume Food (Drink is Encouraged) Unless a courtly event specifically invokes the gathering and eating of food, courtiers ought not to be seen eating food during ceremonies. As an exception; the offering and consumption of fine, non-overwhelming drink is encouraged between friends and allies; all the better if this is done from elegantly crafted glass vessels. - Attract undue attention during ceremonies To selfishly call the attention of the gathered court to oneself when it is not in due season, is disrespectful to one’s countrymen. The Royalty and courtly staff are especially harmed by such actions of outburst or dramatic display, and it does little honor to one’s House to show a small measure of public decency. Most especially, to be seen and heard running from place to place in constant movement and climbing upon furnishings during court is disruptive and offensive to the Prince’s regality. - Be seen in deficiency in court To be in ill condition at court makes the public eye and the private consciousness skeptical of one’s integrity and diligence. Actions such as being seen loudly in need of food, vocally thirsting for drink, blowing one’s nose, or belching, are outward signs of inward impurity. - Display Public Affection during ceremonies All attention during courtly events ought to be directed as best as possible to the cares of the court and its proceedings. Display of overly affectionate behavior toward one’s courtship undermines the special dignity of the women of the court, and undermines the gallant self control of the men of the court. As the only exception; married units of man and wife are encouraged to hold hands as a show of the eternal and manifested bond of one soul to another. Resolving mistakes in Etiquette If a noble is seen performing or not performing an act which would bring indignity to themselves or the name of their house, it is the responsibility of the fellow peers to ensure the common accordance to the culture of excellence. To resolve any issues of this sort; first inform the lady of the house (or most prominent daughter) of the details of the improper deed. She will take the knowledge to the peer, who will set the arrangement of his space to hold more firmly to the etiquette of the prince's peace. It is critical that this is only done with the utmost respect as to not cause offense. Misunderstandings arisen from uncareful speech is a thousand measures more harmful than any violation of proper etiquette. (Verbal) Addresses For Royalty ○ For Sovereign Prince - ”Your Highness” - ”Lord Sovereign” - “Prince [Royal Name]” ○ For Princess-Consort - ”Your Highness” - ”Lady Sovereign” - ”Princess [Royal Name]” ○ For Designated Heir - ”Your Excellency” - ”Lord/Lady Excellency” ○ For all other Royal House Members - ”Your Reverence” - ”Lord/Lady Reverence” For Nobility (Comital & Ducal) ○ For Title Holder/Consort - “High Lord/Lady [Title]” - “Your Grace” - “Lord/Lady Grace” ○ For Non-Title House Members - “Lord/Lady [First Name]” - “Lord/Lady [House Name]” For Nobility (Baronial & Viscomital) ○ For Title Holder/Consort - “Honorable Lord/Lady [Title]” - “Lord/Lady [Title]” ○ For Non-Title House Members - “Lord/Lady [First Name]” - “Lord/Lady [House Name]“ (Written) Addresses For Royalty ○ For Sovereign Prince - “To our Sovereign Prince, [Royal Name], Prince of Aeltarys” ○ For Princess-Consort - ”To our Beloved Princess, [Royal Name], Princess of Aeltarys” ○ For Designated Heir - ”To our Excellency, [Royal Name], Heir to Aeltarys” - ”To our Excellent Reverence, [Royal Name], Heir to Aeltarys” ○ For all other Royal House Members - ”To our Reverence, [Royal Name] of House Valraenos” For Nobility (Comital & Ducal) ○ For Title Holder/Consort - “To His/Her Grace, [First Name] of [House Name], [Primary Title]” ○ For Non-Title House Members - “To High Lord, [First Name] [Second Name ], of [House Name]” For Nobility (Baronial & Viscomital) ○ For Title Holder/Consort - “To The Honorable [First Name] of [House Name], [Primary Title]” ○ For Non-Title House Members - “To Lord [First Name] [Second Name] of [House Name]” Feasting Arrangements During feasts, the Family of honor (usually the host, unless otherwise specified) will be seated at the most prominent seat of the table. To the right sits the consort, to the left are placed all of the heirs, with proximity to the center indicating the order of their succession. Such an array should be achieved whenever possible when gathered at courtly events. It is customary, even at the smallest of tables, to leave the first left seat empty if the heir is not available, or if the House has no declared heir. When hosting dignitaries and peers, it is expected of the organizing lord to assign spaces for every titled noble who is most expected to attend. Note *When addressing nobility and royalty of the realm, it shows a respectable level of learning and virtue to properly attribute titles to Houses. Even more important is distinguishing titled nobility from the families of titled nobility. Simply; when addressing a noble of title, use the name of their title, preceded by ‘Lord/Lady’ or ‘High Lord/Lady’. When addressing non-titled nobility, use the name of their House or their First Name, preceded by ‘Lord/Lady’ Essential Principles Common Honor: At all times, one should act, dress, and speak in such ways that displays the honor of their family, and the good learning of one's life. The living sovereign and the immortal realm are both most highly honored when their citizens act with constant grace and balanced measure. Enduring Hospitality: One must always give the most hospitality to the common citizenry which are the lifeblood of all civilization. It is the love of the common people which gives legitimacy to the sovereign crown and the dignity of the nobility. Nothing does a man or woman more honor than to be seen selflessly giving of oneself in service to virtuous deeds. Likewise, nothing brings so much dishonor than to be more loving of wealth and high dignity than the interest of all Aeltarosi. 2. IA GUIDE NAEJOT AELTAROSI WEDDINGS Issued on the 12th, of Laenors Escape of the year 11 AST. Introduction With the series of weddings taking place within Aeltarys, the scholars of the Aeltarosi people have endeavored to create a guide as to the weddings of the Aeltarosi and their people. This is purely a scholarly piece, allowing for the future generations to study on the Aeltarosi wedding ceremony, and written and transcribed in honor of our Prince and his Princess. Through Hot Coals The opening of an Aeltarosi wedding ceremony is of great importance, in which the classes have varying traditions they adhere to. The bride and groom enter from opposite entrances, and walk forward to meet with a Scaleseer who will bless them with opening words. With joined hands, they are to step forward over a bed of hot coals. This time is paramount, they may not venture from the path, whether to look at another or to step off of it. It is once they step off the end of the path that they will find themselves before the Scaleseer once more, and the next part of the ceremony begins. The Blood of Aeltarosi The Scaleseer produces an Aeltarosi steel dagger, first handed to the groom. They are to cut the bride's lips with their dagger, before offering it knelt before them. It is then that the bride accepts the dagger and does the same, cutting their partners lips and kneeling before them. They seal the blood pact with a kiss, in which this brings them to the Ribbon Binding Ceremony. Preparation for the Ribbon Binding Ceremony In preparation for the Ribbon Binding Ceremony, which is touched on in the section after this, the couple must use Athin oils before bathing in small amounts, so they may build up their tolerance for it, starting at minimum a week before their wedding. They must have a healer at hand while doing this so as to not go into shock or hypothermia. The parental figure of the couple would go to the Weaver during this process, who would then embroider a sheer silk scarf, embroidering the dreams and goals the couple wishes to accomplish and in a specific color to represent their bond to each other. The colors can be combined to make or shift to another color. Red - The color of fire that burns and flows where the winds take them. It symbolizes an eternity of devotion and love for each other. It shows that your relationship goes beyond each other and is Divine in the sight of the Dragons which means a bountiful happiness and children. Yellow - The color of the sun, warmth that fills the mind and body giving it energy. It symbolizes life, anew, and strength that the Dragons bless. Perhaps this is your first marriage or a start at a new life away from those who are unfaithful for the cause. Blue - The color of ice and of winter that bites to the bone. It symbolizes loyalty and trust in each other and in religion. It goes beyond flesh and beyond soul and harmonizes yourself and your lover to the Dragons’ truth. It tethers one and one together in a bind not like any other. The Ribbon Binding Ceremony After the Blood of Aeltarosi ceremony, the couple will have their left arms bound by the scarf with beeswax, Athins, Blissfoil, and a mixture of oils that soaks and hardens the scarf to their skin. They then will go to a brazier and light it on fire. In Aeltarosi superstition, it is said that if it takes under thirty seconds to burn, their first child of their union will be a boy and if over thirty seconds to burn, the first child of their union shall be a girl. (Rolling out of 10 from each person will determine the gender of their first baby which is optional. 1-12 is boy 13-20 is girl.) The special embroidery will stain the skin and seal it with the flames of the basin in a permanent tattoo. When apart the couple have their own unique markings all the way up to their elbow. When together a more form fitting appearance will occur that fits their lives together with a once in a lifetime design. As divorce is not a thing, should an Aeltarosi spouse pass away and they remarry, the marriage marking must never touch the previous marriage marking. Their arms will be covered in herbs to snuff out the flames and soothe the pain. This job is done by the Scaleseer. The Embers It is after the ceremony that traditionally the couple will lead their guests to a venue, in which a game will take place. Bags of rice will be pocketed about the tables where handfuls may be gotten and thrown at the couple, in a competition of pelting them until they leave the event. Another Aeltarosi superstition is that the one who had the winning pelting rice will be the one to marry next and suffer as the couple before them did. After the couple leaves, the party still goes on until the time in which the embers of a campfire spark out. Zālagon Jehikagrī, HER ROYAL HIGHNESS, Arabella Valraenos of Pavia, Grand Princess of the Aeltarosi, Princess of Dragonclaw,
  3. SE RIGLES HEN AELTARYS Issued on the 12th of Laenors Escape of the year 9 AST. THE AELTAROSI HOUSEHOLDS The Grand Principality of Aeltarys presents this missive dedicated to the illustrious nobility of our cherished realm, known as Rigles. As keepers of tradition, examples of leadership, and pillars of our society, the Rigles of Aeltarys are a tapestry woven with history, honor, and dedication. It is in this missive that we plan to touch on each of these Rigle households, so those may better learn of our nobility within our Grand Principality. THE AERAMOR HOUSEHOLD The High Rigle of Tyvaros As written by the Household, Descending from The Tyvaros Region, this family of Aeltarosi are tougher than diamonds and have the wit to outsmart anyone around them. They live to enjoy themselves and prioritize their family above all else. While not all of them fit this description, this is the foundation the family was built on. Their House colors are golds, blues, and whites. A rich and regal color palette fit for such a family of high values. They can usually be seen donning gold accents with pale green eyes to match. To finish it off they have their hair tied back into braids and dreadlocks to fight the heat of The Tyveros Region. But even with their rather goofy and carefree nature, this family holds loyalty down to the bone. As written by the Courts, The Aeramor Household is one of the households that have made the trek after the disaster of the previous lands. They have worked tirelessly to insure that a new home is had for those of Aeltarys, and have been a beacon for those of noble standing. It was no surprise when they took heed to the Royal Challenge set forth, and won in all matters, granting them the title of High Rigle. The family is well-spoken and well-mannered alike, and the courts look forward to what they bring forth in the future. THE SCRIVENER HOUSEHOLD The Rigle of Lilagon As written by the Household, House Scrivener is renowned for its scholars, diplomats, and artists. In the early days of this house, many of its members suffered from physical weaknesses and illness, hence why most turned towards the pursuit of knowledge and creativity instead. A noticeable feature of this house is the distinct colour of eyes all members of the Scrivener household seem to have; all member’s eyes display a striking combination of golden and blue hues in each of their eyes. House Scrivener also has a tendency to remain neutral, and refrain from taking sides, instead assuming the role of mediator to keep the prince’s peace. As written by the Courts, The Scrivener Household is yet another household to make the trek to these new lands. Their eye has been upon the economy, crafting items of particular splendor and making connections to call upon in the future. This household is a diplomatic one, taking no sides as the foundations of these new lands are built upon. It is our hope to see how they further build themselves up, and just what may come of them in the near future. THE VAELARIS HOUSEHOLD The Rigle of Vaehold As written by the Household, Hailing from simple origins as fishermen back at the old continent, this family has more talents than only fishing. Later once everyone had settled down, house Vaelaris truly showed their hidden talent, building. Now being their main focus as a way to help their nation. The members of this house, just like many other houses, value family and loyalty above anything, making them really proud of their nation and how far they have come despite their origin. The colors of this family are purple and white, their CoA being a white crab in front of a purple background. As written by the Courts, The Vaelaris Household is the third household to have made the trek to these new lands. The work they have showcased from the beginning and to even now has been extraordinary, always providing that of a helping hand. The courts encourage them to have pride in their work, and they look forward to the development of their hidden talent and just what may come of it and them in the near future. THE ROA HOUSEHOLD The Rigle of Fulmen As written by the Household, Hailing from the now Grand Principality of Minitz as what was considered a tribe, then dissolved and became a normal family, founding the Viscounty of Pavia. The family is focused in both knowledge and arms, they prioritize family above everything. Of course there are variations in personalities, but the family aspect is present in the most of them. The colors of the family are blue, red and white which represent various aspects of the family, and their values. As written by the Courts, The Roa Household is the first non-Aeltarys family to have gained nobility, even if they are similar in features. They moved to the Principality shortly after a member of their own household married the Grand Prince Maegor I, and have come with a fiery movement. Their work, while newer compared to the other households, has been constant and consistent - allowing for further infrastructure of the Principality to be made. It is with this, that courts watch them with bated breath, to see if they will simmer out or burn brighter.
  4. A very Aeltarosi Wedding Let it be known all across the continent that the long awaited marriage between Lord Daeron Vaelaris and Lady Naesys Scrivener is finally going to take place in the grand sept of Maegor in the city of Aeltarys. Both houses have agreed on keeping their house names despite being married, and their two first born sons will be divided into heirs for the two houses when they come of age. Thus both House Vaelaris and House Scrivener will have a successor. all Aeltarosi are welcome along with allies and friends of the two houses. (ooc: we havent actually set a date yet but hopefully soon!) Lord Daeron Vaelaris, lord of house Vaelaris and Lord Architect. Lady Naesys Scrivener, Lady of House Scrivener and Scale-Seer of the Temple of Aganor.
  5. LA DARONE CHALLENGE Issued on the 9th of Laenors Escape of the year 5 AST. By the decree of their Royal Highnesses, Grand Prince Maegor and Grand Princess Arabella of the Grand Principality of Aeltarys, a royal challenge is hereby called upon the noble houses Scrivener and Vaelaris to settle their differences under the Princes Peace. Each house is to bring forth a trial that will demonstrate their wit, valor, and commitment to upholding the Princes Peace. Alongside this, the Royal Couple will present a trial that will test the unity and cooperation between the two rival houses. The trials shall be conducted with fairness and impartiality, overseen by the royal couple as mediators. Each trial will allow the houses to shine, while illuminating further they are better together then apart. They will be granted the honor of presenting themselves before the Grand Prince and Grand Princess, in which they are to bring forth their individual trials within two days of this missive. In the spirit of unity and camaraderie, let this be an opportunity for the houses Scrivener and Vaelaris to come together, set aside their differences, and reaffirm their loyalty to the Princes Peace and the prosperity of the Grand Principality of Aeltarys. May this royal challenge be a testament to the strength and resilience of our realm, and may the outcome forge a lasting bond between the two houses. Zālagon Jehikagrī, HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS, Maegor Valraenos of Aeltarys, Grand Prince of the Aeltarosi, Prince of Dragonclaw HER ROYAL HIGHNESS, Arabella Valraenos of Pavia, Grand Princess of the Aeltarosi, Princess of Dragonclaw, Lady of Pavia, Lady of Atalais, Lady of Erice, Lady of Austerone
  6. VA PURISTS, INTEGRATIONS SE UNDECLARED Issued on the 9th of Laenors Escape of the year 5 AST. WHAT ARE FACTIONS? Upon the arrival of the Aeltarosi to these new lands, they took in the strange sights and the strange people. These locals, as they dubbed them, looked wildly different to what they are used to which soon sparked controversy. Arguments began as to whether to allow outsiders into their community and culture, or to keep to their ways as they have for ages; and thus, the Purist and Integrationist factions were born. It is what has been dubbed as ‘the Prince’s Peace’ that keeps the bloodlust of the factions at bay, primarily within their city. The Prince's Peace allows for challenges to be had to settle disputes, which will be touched on further in this guide. This guide is for those who do not know of these, just how to join them and what each faction stands for in the political system of the Aeltarosi. HOW TO JOIN A FACTION? In order to join one of the factions in question, it is best to first read this guide to have an understanding of their values. Once you have decided on a faction, you will head to one of their recruitment offices or find an established Officer of the faction in question. From there, the Officer will take you through the process of joining your faction, the process itself unique to the faction in question which may be touched on further in what will be issued as the Purist and Integrationist Charters. Once you have been brought into the faction of your choice, you are oftentimes issued a faction badge, a weapons sheath with your faction's colors, a package of rations and an apartment room. THE FACTION CHALLENGES As mentioned in our introduction, a key point to ‘the Prince’s Peace’ is that of faction challenges. Faction challenges have a few sub-sections, in which there are varying types. You have a royal challenge, these are the major challenges that can be issued only by the Royal Household of Valraenos. These challenges are meant for a few things, in which the factions are arguing over which ambassador is sent for a pact, whether a family deserves their title or otherwise. From there, you have the personal challenge. Prerequisites must be hit first in order to issue there, in which a Mediator has been gotten before the challenge is issued. The person who issued the challenge is not the one who decides on what the challenge is, and is instead the person who was challenged who may pick. Challenges can be many things and are not limited to one type, they come under jousts, the solving of riddles, a game of Chess or otherwise. THE PURIST FACTION The Purist Faction, represented by the colors red, purple, and silver. This faction is dedicated to the preservation of Aeltarosi culture and the task of preventing outsiders from corrupting the genes, government, religion, and secrets of Aeltarys. This faction is willing to trade and negotiate with outsiders, but that is about it. THE INTEGRATIONIST FACTION The Integrationist Faction, represented by the colors blue, green, and silver. This faction is made up of the Aeltarosi who believe that after the departure from their old land and arrival upon the new, they should move forward as a culture and community and see what those dubbed as Outsiders have to offer. They believe in things being more free-ranged, overall and that we should open ourselves as a community. THE UNDECLARED AND MEDIATORS While these are not a faction of their own, they still merit a paragraph on just what they are. Those who are considered Undeclared walk a fine line between both factions, sitting in a gray area that allows them to associate with both sides to an extent. If not careful, though, they may find themselves at the wrong side of a faction member. As to Mediators, they are those sworn to never take the faction's oath and remain Undeclared. They have the ability to oversee challenges, to ensure fair play from both sides and make a ruling as needed. The Mediators have a badge as well, with the colors of blue, green and gold.

With the ceremony of His Royal Highness, Maegor I and Her Royal Highness Arabella I, the newly named Grand Princess has seen it fit to herald the creation of the Court of Smoke, advised by the natural-born Aeltarosi. “May the flames burn as bright as an inferno.” THE DRAGON'S BREATH The highest tier of the courts, commonly referred to as the Dragon’s Breath is kept solely to the royal family of Valraenos. It consists of the Grand Prince and Princess, the Crown Royal once an heir is named and the royal family itself. Their roles are showcased in many ways, in which they may fill any roles of the court. THE INFERNO The second highest tier of the courts, in which is it commonly referred to as the Inferno, as the difficulty of getting into the positions and keeping them in this fast-paced and ever-changing environment is that of akin to an inferno. THE INFERNOS OVERSEER The Infernos Overseer of the Ōrbar Court is second-in-command to the Dragon’s Breath, and the highest-ranking position. They are an individual who speaks directly with the upper tier and assures their expectations and standards are kept to. They directly interview and hire those of the second tier, the Inferno, alongside those of the third tier, their Scales Assistants. THE INFERNO OF CEREMONIES The Inferno of Ceremonies of the Ōrbar Court is the second highest-ranking position. They answer directly to the Infernos Overseer and the Dragon’s Breath alike. They are tasked with the introduction of games, traditions and ensuring each event that takes place is more exciting then the last. They must be ever-fluid much like an inferno, and thus must always be the epitome of their role. They directly interview and hire those of the third tier, their Scales Assistants. THE INFERNO OF SERVITUDE The Inferno of Servitude of the Ōrbar Court is the third highest-ranking position. They answer directly to the Infernos Overseer and the Dragon’s Breath alike. They are to keep the Court relevant, with the finding of various art pieces, bringing forth traditions old and new and keeping a keen eye to our history. The most notable of this, which gives them their name, is that they must be skilled in embroidery. When appointed to their position, they are to embroider the scarf used in Aeltarosi ceremonies, a great honor for any Aeltarosi to have. They directly interview and hire those of the third tier, their Scales Assistants. THE SCALES The third highest tier of the courts, commonly referred to as the Scales, as they bring a much needed balance to the courts. While not as difficult to get into as the Infernos tier, it is a difficult position to uphold nonetheless. THE SCALES ADVISOR The Scales Advisor of the Ōrbar Court answers directly to the Infernos and Dragon’s Breath alike. They do not have specific tasks set, and as advisors can be hired on for any number of reasons, depending on talent and ability. They are called upon when their particular set of skills or talents are needed within the courts. THE SCALES ASSISTANT The Scales Assistant of the Ōrbar Court answers directly to the Infernos and Dragon’s Breath alike, though they may have a primary they answer to. What they assist on depends solely on who they were hired on to assist, i.e. event running with the Infernos of Ceremonies or managerial work to the Grand Princess. THE EMBERS The lowest tier of the courts, commonly referred to as the Embers, in which they can be blown out with the wind or be tended to and be made into fire. The work set out can vary wildly, much like a Princess choosing her apparel for the day. THE EMBERS SERVANT The Embers Servant of the Ōrbar Court answers directly to the upper tiers of the court, though the Infernos and Dragon’s Breath always takes the utmost priority. They are set a variety of tasks, which are not exclusive to the upkeep and cleanliness of the palace, serving during various functions or even the rearranging of a flower pot to another corner of the room. THE EMBERS WARD The Embers Ward of the Ōrbar Court answers directly to the individual they are warded to, though the Infernos and Dragon’s Breath always takes the utmost priority. The tasks they are set are based solely on the discretion of the individual who warded them, though it will primarily be seen to be based around the role in question, i.e. being warded to the Infernos Weaver will see you organizing the palaces books, or embroidering a handkerchief. 10. A depiction of the snow-covered mountains of the Grand Principality of Aeltarys. Winter's icy touch caressed Arabella's spine, but she embraced the chill with ease. She was always the one to defy convention, wearing minimal layers even in the coldest of seasons. Her family found it peculiar, but Arabella ran warm, and her eccentric tendencies served her well now. Her husband was a few meters ahead, engrossed in conversation with his advisors, directing the construction of a building in the newly established camp. A camp - an unconventional choice, but one that suited Arabella's preference for a simple lifestyle. She had never been enamored with the trappings of nobility, and yet here she was, married to a prince, with people looking up to her for guidance. Embracing the challenge, she walked on, her boots warm and sturdy, leaving silent imprints on the thick snow-covered ground. For the first time in a while, she found herself alone in this winter wonderland. Inhaling deeply, she felt the sharp sting of cold air in her lungs, exhaling as a plume of breath appeared before her. A nearby rabbit caught her attention, its white coat blending with the snow, and its crimson eyes seemingly locked onto her own. Arabella dismissed the fleeting thoughts and decided on a course of action. Returning to camp, she marveled at the progress that had been made. Tents were raised, and a comforting fire crackled, tended to by one of the elder Aeltarosi members. The scene felt like something out of a storybook, and Arabella couldn't help but smile. Amid the laughter and warmth of the campfire, Arabella pondered the responsibility of leading a group of people. She had her doubts and uncertainties, but the camaraderie around her reassured her that she was doing just fine. As the night wore on, Arabella settled in, having found a place to store the rabbit she had encountered. She contemplated the future, the challenges that lay ahead, and the paths she might take. As a sense of contentment settled over her, she realized that leadership was not about having all the answers, but rather about finding the courage to take the first step, even in the midst of uncertainty. Arabella Valraenos, the lady who had never conformed to societal norms, was now embracing her role as a leader. Guided by her own instincts and a desire to make a difference, she walked the path of leadership, one step at a time. And as the campfire flickered and laughter filled the air, Arabella knew that she was where she was meant to be.

  12. The coat of arms of House Vaelaris House Vaelaris is a noble house from the continent of Aeltarys. It is not a large house, nor the oldest. But It is a proud one. They specialize in fishing and are known for selling their high quality crabs. One of the many famous dishes is the Vaelaris grilled crab and pickled herring. unlike most of the nobles houses that has different ancestral swords. House Vaelaris passes on a fishing rod made out of hardwood and a string made out of thin steal. making it almost unbreakable when catching normal fish. The founder of house Vaelaris is Raelor Vaelaris, a simple fisherman that happened to impress the king with his shellfish. So much so that he became one of the main sources of seafood into the king's household. This went on for years and sure enough Raelor made enough money to buy himself a small castle that he named Vaehold, a small castle right above the coastline of Crabcliff bay. all that Raelor needed now was a noble title. and he got one by winning a bet with the king himself. thus giving Raelor the title of Warden of Crabcliff Bay. not the biggest title, but good enough to make him a lord. and so Raelor made a banner for his newly founded house, a white crab on a purple background. Later in life Raelor married and had a son and heir, Daelor. Knowing that the house was a new one and needed to grow stronger, Raelor made sure that his son had the real education of a noble. Daelor learned how to read and write and how to hold a sword. not to mention all the family secrets about fishing. from the age 14 to 16 he became a squire to a minor knight that served under the king. During a Tournament the 17 year old Daelor got to prove himself to his father and the realm by coming 2nd place in the tournament. Once Daelor grew up, he was married and his wife gave birth to twins. They named the boy Daeron and the girl Daera, just a minute apart from each other. 3 years later Daelor´s wife gave birth to another baby girl which they named Aenelyra. In 128 of the second age. A great fire broke out in Vaehold. Killing Raelor, his wife Raena, Daelor as well as his wife, and the mother of his children, Visaena. Two years later, the twins and their younger sister Aenelyra must find a new way to keep their house and beliefs alive. so they put their lives in the hands of Prince Maegor as they sail to Failor and beyond…
