What is roleplaying?: Acting like a character that is not you, following their lore, and acting how they would.

What is metagaming?: Taking OOC information, and bringing it into IC.

What is power gaming?: Roleplaying another character that is not yours, (Char throws a punch at Len, /and knocks him out/*) the parts in / are power gaming. It is also doing something that your character is incapable of doing IC.

 

In-Character Information 

Character’s name: Zindeo Herido

Character’s gender: Male

Character’s race: Wood Elf

Character’s age: 97

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Zindeo's mother, Rebecce, was brought to Leyulin to give birth to Zindeo. Sadly, she died in the process. However, Zindeo came into the world, a cheerful wood elf.

The Herido's were going to move back into the woods, however, when Rebecce died, they were forced to stay, with their father, in Leyulin. It was difficult for the entire family, Rebecce, named after her mother, Malina, a girl, named after Malin, Enzo, named after his father, and lastly, Zindeo, a word meaning "Woods," in the family's special dialect of Elvish.

Life was hard for the Herido's in Leyulin. They were used to the woods, and not having to deal with anyone else. Zindeo, being the youngest, was eventually left alone to be cared for by his father. Ezno stayed in Leyulin, while his two sisters, left for the woods.  Days after Zindeo's third birthday, 84 year old Rebecce, still a young Wood Elf, was killed. A terrible illness she had caught, and being deep in the woods, had no access to anything but her own herbs, which could not save her. Word took months to reach the Herido's, and when it finally did, Rebecce's body was far too lost to be found. It was a terrible event in the Herido family.

Ezno mourned the most. He was close with his sisters, and now the young Malina, only 24, was left alone in the woods, too young to travel back to the city. She had probably caught this disease as well.

People began scowling at the Herido family. Having two hildren in only 25 years? They deserved to lose them both, people said. Malina was far too young to go off on her own, they said. The Herido family couldn't take the pressure. They left Leyulin, heading for the woods, the day after Zindeo's 14th birthday. Ezno followed, not because he wanted to leave, only because he knew his father was growing anxious about the whole event, and could do something foolish.

A few days into the woods, they found Rebecce's body, Malina's body nearby. Both of them were dead, blue scars covering them. 

​Two days later, all three of them came down with the illness. Terrible fever, heavy coughing. In only a matter of days their father was dead. Ezno came close to death. Far too close for Zindeo's liking, but one day, the illness left him. And then it left Zindeo. However, they were left with blue patches of skin, patches that would stay with them forever. Marking their  hardships. Ezno and Zindeo moved back to Leyulin, tired of traveling. They rested for days, and then began their lives. Ezno searching to become a researcher, and Zindeo unsure of what to do with his life, went with his brother.

 

Personality Traits: Cheerful, hard working, stubborn. 

Ambitions: Help the forest and the animals living inside it.

Strengths/Talents:Running, throwing, and he has some small medical ability. 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Blue scars are extremely sensitive to pain, doesn't like to cooperate with people he doesn't know.

-You need to expand upon your meta-gaming definition. Maybe use an example?

 

-Your entire application is poorly written, and is strewn with typos and errors.

 

-You need to make your character's biography a BIOGRAPHY of him. You say very little of what he actually did in his 97 years of life.

 

-You need to put more server lore into your character's biography. If your character is 97 he'd be born in the continent of Anthos- not the rather newly created city of Leyulin in Athera.

 

-You need to expand upon all the in-character info of your character.

 

-The minecraft skin you're using is an extremely overused skin. Either edit it significantly or use a different skin.

 

-You may re-apply in 24 hours.
