Fredegar carries a bag with provisions and supplies. he nails a note to his door that reads

 

"tank ye fer everyting. I am off ter fin' so' new friends'nd see so' old uns. Ya all 'ave been so nice ta me fer me stay, 'nd I will be back soon. So don' sell me burroah to any ota halflins'."

 

(Thank you all for being great neighbors and friends. This is not the last of fredegar Mugwort as he will return. This is more of a vacation away from lenfarthing for a bit. So don't sell my burrow. I will leave the care of the burrow to my good friend Posco, and he may throw parties and whatnot. Just try to to drink the barrels dry;) Thank you all again and remember i will be back.)
