Attack On Drake Stables

The Gravelords stepped foot upon the Drake Stables, striding across the fields in heavy robes, and heavier boots - the crisp grass stomped and withered as their advancement continued. The three powerful gravelords stood tall on a door, bashing, spears and axes broke the doors down in loud noises, and thumb-sized splinters of wood raining away from the door.

 

Hidden away was a young woman and her newest employee, pushing stone upon stone, barring the door from the barrage of attacks. Fear gripping her as she looked at the man. The voice of her lover made her eyes widen and her hopes up. The horse trainer took up his sword, while the other male took up his armor. The were ready for a battle that would ultimately end in their demise.

 

The first attack was done by the opposing side, running through Vinzakra's shoulder with a long cavalry spear, and so. . .the chaos ensued. The three wraiths ripped spines, cut men down, and brought them back up - only to show them how feeble they are in their presence.

 

At short last, stakes were raised from which the two warriors were shoved through, spikes sprouting off the top of their mouths, dried blood stained in their cheeks. The wraiths left a single woman, whom in her broken mind abides to their every demand and showed them to their new Deathsteeds. The horses were claimed in the name of the lords of the grave, their bodies and eyes ebony, and empty just as their new masters. 

 

The broken woman was left alone with the dying body of her lover, her mind broken and her body torn. She listened as they made their threat, telling her to spread the word of the pestilence, the famine, the war, and the death that was to follow.
