Pvp Rules?

Hello, I've been noticing lately how much PvP is abused in Roleplay on this server. For a server that is based on RP, there's an awful lot of PvP on it. And I notice that the PvP is demanded after they realize that in RP they would lose, or that PvP is demanded after they outnumber the person 2 to 1. So I've been thinking that there should be some rules that are laid down for it, this is just a rough draft.

1. If a person is using magic in the roleplay and commences using it, you must wait until the magic is fully finished before initiating PvP.

2. When you are PvP'ing, just as a courtesy try to make it even- don't PvP with someone because they have 1 person and you have 5.

3. If you do PvP when the other person is immediately at a disadvantage, allow them to be revived and SS to spawn

4. Everyone has a right to dispute the PvP, if the majority says RP then it is RP and not PvP because someone says "PvP default".

5. Don't PvP just because you want someone's loot, actually do it for a reason.

Well I'm not saying banning PvP. It gets annoying when I'm trying to sit there and mind my own business when someone walks up and starts a conflict with like 3 other people involved and I have to defend myself with magic, then them saying "PvP default", killing me, then taking my stuff.

PvP default for two non-magic users is okay, but when you're trying to RP and literally your only defense is magic and you can't wear armor in towns or cities nor have a weapon, and men come up and try to attack you so you can only defend with magic isn't fair. They end up killing you because they know they can win against you and take whatever you've got, that seems to me like powergaming.

try solving combat some other way

You can't because "PvP default" gets thrown around and they will refuse to do combat any other way, I have heard complaints about this from other people before

It isn't even so much the people that let you SS either, it gets annoying when someone comes up with two other people to fight you when you're unarmed, and they attack you unprovoked and then steal all of your stuff. It just gets irritating and I'm sure others feel the same way.

You make it soumd like people don't rp and just pvp. That is bad. If someone runs up to you,, attacks you and demands pvp , then afyer when you lost don't cause drama. Just report them to the vat. If they come up, rp for a bot amd ot leads to combat.... that's your fault. You can easuly avoid combat if you don't wantbto pvp. If someone tries to rob you, don't resist and actualy be robbed. It makes more rp and less pvp. Bam. Your just making rules to make you stronger, when being killed os really your fault. Made on mobile

I've had frequent occasions where people will initiate an rp fight with me and then, seeing that I have magic, emote striking me with their weapon then say "PvP default". That isn't fair.  And if I were to report that the number of times it's happened, I'd have so many VAT reports to deal with that it wouldn't even end up being worth it because they'd just get off scott-free and then take their ooc anger out on the character in game, which is a recurring theme for almost everyone who plays LotC

And are you saying that if someone rp'ly tries to attack and rob me that I should just let them do it? If I ran up to your character would you do that? No, I feel pretty secure in saying that you'd retaliate too, because it isn't like most people to just let themselves be attacked, at least, not from any of the characters I've seen.

Then get armour orprovide rp, such as talking or doing what they say. No one would kill yoi for no reason unless your edgy as ****

A lot of people would kill people for no reason, have you been to Abresi? Out of all the times I've ever had combat this last month, they were in Abresi and a majority of them ended up in PvP because I started using magic, and how can you get armor and a weapon when it's banned in the city? That would cause more PvP fights.

While I'd love to do that, I've made friends in Abresi, I have no idea why you are going about your criticism this way. None of it is constructive. Your arguments have stated for me to not ask for it (which never occurs), break laws which would cause you to get arrested and start even more fights I'm trying to prevent, and to go play somewhere else. Please give me constructive criticism.
