How did you hear about us?: - Just lookin' around.
What do you think the server will be like? - Well from my knowledge, it's been around for over 2 years now, so I believe it should be pretty good. I've just ignored it this whole time for some reason.
Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Affirmative
What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: -

I believe most RP servers have a hard time picking between RP fighting and PvP fighting. Congrats on the balance you've achieved.


Definitions

This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not another website / person's!

What is roleplaying?: - To play a role of yourself, or a different character, in a world similar or completely different to ours. The setting can be anywhere and any time, and is usually the main reason people roleplay. To me, it's just a way to sit back and have some fun.

What’s metagaming?: - When you use Out-Of-Character information to your In-Character advantage. For example: Someone says a patrol of anti-party soldiers are headed to Woodston from the east in the Out-Of-Character chat, and you run around flailing your arms and warning the people in Woodston to hide their wives, children, beer and party balloons.

What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming mostly happens in Roleplay combat, but can also happen during simple conversation. Powergaming is when a person allows their character to do either superhuman feats, or just overpowered in general actions. For example: *Johnny slices Isabelle's head of in one quick swing!* This action didn't let Isabelle react in any way and is Powergaming.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): -

     Mullraugh was born to a middle class family in the town of Westport. His mother died giving birth to him and his father, a broken hearted town guard, raised Mullraugh by himself. The sorrow of his father hung heavily around the day to day life of the young man, every day he would try to cheer his father up. Doing simple chores around the house, feeding and watering Bella, their horse, and practicing with swords from the armoury, Mullraugh learned that working hard and never giving up is how life is done. As Mullraugh got older, he took a liking to a girl his age named Caitlynn. They would go to the pond and fish, walk around the city and people watch, or just sit on the dock and watch the ships sail. They had intentions of getting married, but complications involving her family that Mullraugh didn't really understand led her to move away, leaving Mullraugh alone in the dust. Over the years, he and his father grew older and in his mid teens, his father passed away, leaving behind a small house, a horse and his belongings. Not wanting to live in sorrow and misery like his father did, Mullraugh sold the house, took the horse and his fathers armor and headed to Kingston, with ambitions of joining the Military, and hopefully finding Caitlynn.

 

     On the journey, Mullraugh was stopped on the road by a group of bandits who demanded his money and belongings. He put up a fight but there were too many, they beat him up and sent his horse running, looting his things and leaving him on the road to die. An old Farmer travelling to Kralta stopped and saw the poor unconscious man on the road and loaded him into his cart. Mullraugh awoke in a bed with a kind old woman mixing tea at the bedside. Mrs. and Mr. Klepper, as he later found out, were a kind old farming couple from New Ager who had never had a child of their own. They took Mullraugh in and cared for him, raising him as their son. At the age of 26, Mullraugh left the Kleppers and challenged the brave new world. Wandering from town to town in search of Caitlynn and purpose to his life. He has gotten in a myriad of fights, brawls and battles against a myriad of people and things, and ten years later, he finally decides to enlist in the Military. He doesn't know which one, but he hopes to become a great military officer one day.

What are they like (personality)?: - Mullraugh can have a very arrogant, my way or the highway kind of attitude in positions where he might feel his honor might be threatened. However, normally, he's a nice guy all around, or at least he tries to be, given his grim appearance.

What are their ambitions?: - Simply to serve under his king and to move up the ranks of the military, aspiring to be a great military leader.

Do they have any special skills?: - Mullraugh is very proficient with a blade, he has strength, endurance, and the will to fight to the bitter end.

What are their weaknesses?: - He has a missing left eye, restricting his field of vision, and a limp from a damaged leg. His arrogance often gets in the way of the good he tries to bring to the people in his world, which might cause his downfall in the future. He is also horrible with a bow, having no ability to aim it with one eye.

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Mullraugh is a short, burly man, standing at 5'7. He usually keeps the same set of clothes on for weeks, even months on end, but don't let that fool you. He tries to be as clean and presentable as he can be. His face, once that of a young man, is now riddled with scars and marks, the most noticable one being across his left socket, a white filmy husk of what once was an eyeball. His hair is a decent length for a man, with small hints of grey in it.

Anything else you want to say about them?: - Mullraugh despises magic, especially when it's used as medicine. He believes that a simple bandage, some tea and a little rest has the same effect as a healing spell. Mullraugh also dislikes Elves for their snooty attitudes and arrogant nature, on top of that he's afraid of heights, something that Elves have no problems with. He also dislikes the church, and religion as a whole. He sees it as a waste of time and effort.
