How did you hear about us?: - My friend diamondmaster was playing on it one day and told me to join so I watched some youtube videos and thought this was a cool server.

What do you think the server will be like? - A fun first time roleplaying experience with me and some friends I might meet

What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - That your skin must match your IG character, I thought that was creative and it keeps people who likes to troll with skins away from the sever. 

Definitions

This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not another website / person's!

What is roleplaying?: -  Roleplaying is when you take a role that is nothing like your actual personality and you interact with other people using that new personality you are using. So for example I could roleplay as a dark and mysterious character but in real life I could be happy and always cheerful.

What’s metagaming?: -  Metagaming is when you use third party out of game context to find a location or what other people are doing that is across the map. 

What’s powergaming?: -  Powergaming is when you use cheats, glitches, or abuse a system to become over powered and to over power other people within the roleplaying server.

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

What sex are they?: -  Male

How old are they?: -  23

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - One day when Zygen was a young lad, him and his family went to a town that was close to his home. The home he was born and raised in. As they entered the town they first went to the local tavern to grab a few drinks and chat with a few people. As they left the tavern his mother was a bit drunk knowing she was the only hardcore drinker in the family. They then went to the bakery to grab Angela's (Zygen's mom) favorite type of cake, chocolate with strawberries on top. They kind old baker put the cake in the box and sent them on their way. Martin (Zygen's father) decided it was time to head back home, so they started to walk to the road that leads them to their home that is on the outskirts of the town. They were then quickly approached by a guard who was blocking the way. When they got close to the guard they stopped. Martin then walked and stood right next to the guard, handing him something from behind his back, something that wouldn't be visible if you weren't paying attention. Martin then quickly lashed out grabbed the young boy, and the guard unsheathed the dagger Zygen's father had given him. Angela started to scream as the guard started to run after her. She hastily dropped the cake and began to run. The guard was too quick though, he grabbed her hair and very violently he thrust the dagger into her back, killing her almost instantly. Zygen managed to get out of the father's grasp, since he loosen up his grip on the boy when the mother was stabbed. He began to run and run, never looking back. After that day Zygen was then living on a farm with a ill grandma and grandpa. They didn't have much time so he would have to live on his own on that cursed farm. After they passed away Zygen was about 18 years old, so he was able to live on the farm, but decided not too and just to live on the streets. One day he seen a old beaten up sword left on the road. You could say he stole it, but it didn't look like anyone own it to him. After that day he would go to his grandparent's field that was right outside the farm and he would practice his sword skills on a tree. From that day on he vowed to his dead mother to stop corrupted people taking lives as they took his mother's. But before he could join anything major like the army, he stills needs practice, and he swears he will practice no matter what, until he gets stronger.        

What are they like (personality)?: - Silent, determined and calm

What are their ambitions?: - To become a better swodsman and stop corruption

Do they have any special skills?: - He skilled in swords, daggers, or any blade.

What are their weaknesses?: - Zygen was never a good archer or could doge a arrow, so his biggest weakness is archery.

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Brown hair and brownish-black eyes. You wear a black coat and a white shirt underneath. He has grayish pants that has a sword attached to one side and a dagger attached to the other. He has a brown strap that goes across his chest and ends at his back.

Anything else you want to say about them?: - No.

Your application has been denied for the following reasons:

 

- Your metagaming definition isn't exactly right. Please give a more fitting answer. Also, if you could, please give a short example of both metagaming and powergaming at the end of your definitions for each. If you need help researching their meanings, I'd recommend using this page: http://wiki.lordofthecraft.net/Roleplaying (Remember to always use your own words!).

 

- Your bio is extremely confusing, and contains a lot of 'filling' (useless information). You didn't explain what happened with the guard very well. Why did your character's father give him a knife, why did the guard then kill his mother and why did his father restrain him to try and stop him from escaping? This just seems like a completely random event that makes absolutely no sense because you haven't explained anything about why it was happening. As for 'filling', the first third of your biography is nothing more than explaining everything your character's family did in a city one day. None of it was exactly important, nor interesting I'm afraid to say. Instead, tell us about some other interesting events that happened in your character's life that have had an impact on them.

 

- Your biography didn't contain any server lore. You even had 2 chances to name some villages and cities in the first 2 sentences. Please add mention of at least 2 cities or villages from Anthos (especially your character's birthplace) and reference of at least one of the other races in Anthos. - Expand on your character's personality. As it stands, it doesn't tell us an awful lot about him and how he acts in society.

 

- Your weakness isn't truly a weakness; Nobody is born with skill in archery. Your weakness(s) must be fairly unique (such as a major fear or moral) and something that could put your character at a disadvantage in certain situations.

 

Your application wasn't exactly bad, for the most part. Spend a good amount of time fixing all of the points made above, but I'd recommend focusing particularly on your bio as that seems to need the most work.
