It is the near future on planet earth, and genetic mutation and militarization of the human genome has begun in earnest. Genetics Modifications and Testing, or G.M.T., leads this charge. This organization brings the smartest together to create the best version of a human. Whether it is looks, intellect, or powers, it is within their power to change.

 

 

*It is lunchtime in this world, and you see a poster by your favorite café. What is this… an advertisement? At closer look, it says this:*

 

 

In recent times, power failures and accidents among our older facilities are becoming common. G.M.T. is in need of physically able men and women to investigate these power outages and help out those inside. You think you’ve got what it takes? Come on and join up!

 

 

You tear down the poster and sign up. A few days later, and you have been assigned to facility Delta. The pay is good, and it seems easy… enough. However, that dark elevator seems very dangerous. The doors shut and you begin your climb down into the underground facility. You have begun your Descension.

Hey guys! Alrighty, this is the revamped version of Descension, a Skype roleplaying game started by Knyghtfalcon and TheFireAce. We are bringing it back, with class systems, new monsters to fight, and plenty of adventure in the amazing world of Descension. This sound interesting to you? Much like LoTC, you can do anything (not just that generic soldier story up there). You can be a civilian, a soldier, a scientist, anything you want in the dangerous facility.

 

 

With each level it gets more dangerous. With each step downward you near the final fight. You must fight for every inch of ground, to make it to the bottom of this action-filled adventure! Are you ready to Descend?
