Definitions

 

These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers or check on our wiki, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!

 

What is roleplaying?: -  Roleplaying is acting and playing as a character you are portraying.

 

What’s metagaming?: - is any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends a prescribed ruleset, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits or environment set by the game. Another definition refers to the game universe outside of the game itself.

 

What’s powergaming?: -  Powergaming is when someone says he has soo much power he can bring down an entire castle in one hit. It is basically having God Mode 

 

In-Character Information

 

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): -  Thog'mag was born in Sanjezal.ccccccw His mother died from birth, he just lived with his father. His fathers name is Gur'mash he was an excellent swordsman and an archer. Thog'mag didn't do much during his early life, When he turned 7 he learned to mine Iron and chop wood from his father,He had trouble on his first times but eventually he got used to it he still has troubles when he doesn't think of the thing he is doing. When he was 10 he started going through puberty he got way taller and his hands and arms got bigger. he also learned how to use a sword he had more trouble then he did at mining and wood cutting. He had to use a small dagger first because the sword weighed to much for him. He started to use the sword at age 16 thats when he got strong he became an excellent swordsman at age 18 he started using the bow which was easy but had some hard times. He still mastered the bow at age 21, a few weeks later he did blacksmithing but he stopped at age 24 because it was too much work. At age 25 he left the town to travel around the land, later he joined the Orc Army and wanted to become a good soldier.

 

What are they like? (personality): -  Semi-Intelligent, Holds a grudge and dwarves.

 

What are their ambitions?: -  To become a good Orc Soldier and a blacksmith

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): -  Cannot Climb. Special skills: He can use a bow, sword and a good blacksmith

 

Give us a description of how they look?: -  Tall, Red eyes, Dark Skin, big hand, Black hair.

You've been denied for the following reasons listed below:

 

• Sanjezal was a wealthy city of Krugmar in Aegis. Your character is far too young to have existed in Aegis. If you wish for your Orc to have background with an Orcish settlement at the age of 25, I would suggest using Gronkkston. 
• If you're going to have an Orc named Thog'mag, I would suggest capitalizing the 'm' in 'mag.' This is how Orcs typically do their names. An example would be: Ukhazch'Azog. This didn't influence my decision in your application though, it's just a suggestion.
• The personality for your character seems a tad bit half-baked to me. Perhaps you could explain why Thog has a grudge against Dwarves?
• Please lengthen Thog's ambitions, skills and weaknesses. It is too short.
• Your meta-gaming definition appears to be plagiarized. Whereas we do encourage that you look up the correct definition, we do not want you to copy and paste it into your application. Paraphrase the definition to meta-gaming and essentially make it your own as long as it is still accurate. Plagiarizing again will result in necessary repercussions. 
• God-modding and power-gaming are too different things. Thus, your power-gaming definition is incorrect. If you need help finding the correct definition, PM me.
• As such, all three of your definitions are too short. Lengthen them by adding in-game examples, perhaps?
