Heff 2460 Share Posted July 15, 2014 So I've noticed that many suggestions for new professions have come up, here we can fill out a form that describes the profession we want added! Profession/Skill Name: Worktable Type (TInker, Masonry, etc.) : Items: ~Example~ Profession/Skill Name: Naturalist Worktable Type (TInker, Masonry, etc.) : Mortar And Pestle (or you can add a compost bin to the plugin) Items Created: Bonemeal/Fertilizer, Sprouts, Seeds Optional Description: The naturalist can be used for farmers and druids. As you level up in the naturalist skill sprouts/crops that you plant take less time to grow and/or less bonemeal to make it grow completely. The naturalist can also use the mortar and pestle (or compost bin) to create "Fertilizer". Fertilizer can look and act like bonemeal but instead of coming from bones it comes from wheat, raw flesh, sprouts, raw meat, or leather! By doing this the naturalist can grow his/her plants and crops faster! The more you level up the naturalist skill, the less time and items fertilizer takes to create. The naturalist could also create sprouts and crop seeds when Master is reached in the skill tree. He/she could do this by taking dirt, wheat, apples, pinecones, melon slices, pumpkins, or leaves! Each of those items corresponds to the specific plant/crop that the seed/sprout is to be. PLEASE TRY NOT TO COMMENT UNLESS POSTING AN IDEA OR IF YOU ARE A TECHY/GM RESPONDING TO THIS. Graf 135 Share Posted July 15, 2014 Profession/Skill Name: BuilderWorktable Type (Tinker, Masonry, etc.): MasonryItems Created: Construction materialsOptional Description: Place blocks, get exp. Higher levels could have chances not to use a block when you place it? So you could say have 50 brick blocks, and you end up making ~55 metres cubed of bricks, because you're so good at bricklaying. River 555 Share Posted July 19, 2014 nSo here's a neutral suggestion for the plugin, the addition of Horse Armor. Since we're redefining the crafting of the game it only seems fit we also add unobtainable items that couldn't be crafted. With the new breeding profession there comes a lot of customization with horse stats (From what the description says). The saddle has also been implemented which leaves the only thing out on horses their armor, so I just wanted to first say this, then write my little idea on how it should be implemented with the professions Armored horse padding (or something that repents the leather needed for Ferrum/other horse armor) Craftable at a Tanning station Requires (Leather, Rope, Ferrum Ingot) (Item represented by Saddle) 25 minutes to craft After getting it made at a Tanning station you have to get the final product made at a Blacksmith Ferrum Horse Armor Craftable at an anvil Requires Ferrum Ingots and Ferrum chain links (Idk the item but the thing used to make chainmail) 1 hour to craft After a blacksmith would have crafted this, it then takes a good breeder to train a horse so that it is fit for combat, or can handle sustaining a heavy set of armor along with it's rider(s) Highest level breeder to equip armor onto a horse, somehow mechanicly, not quite sure. Knightangale 10 Share Posted July 19, 2014 I wouldn't want this for myself but I feel as if lots of others could use these: Profession/Skill Name: Guard/Hunter Hired Blade Worktable Type (TInker, Masonry, etc.) : Levels from executes on players and mob kills. Items: N/A Also a variant could come into play for assassins as well. Perhaps it is better to called it hired sword or something. Sell sword may not fit guards. Profession/Skill Name: Artisan Worktable Type (TInker, Masonry, etc.) : (Nonfunctional of course) Command Block Items: Can create more detailed things such as boats, bookshelves, and other currently nonobtainable items This could be used to iron out the remaining items not available. Profession/Skill Name: Scholar Worktable Type (TInker, Masonry, etc.) : Enchanting Table, also can level from using the magic plugin Items: Can create maps, books, compasses, etc. May send official IC letters via the Enchanting Table, forum RP letters still can be done. Something for the more magicy types or something for one a learned one.
Oldkingmeta 1 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Profession/Skill Name: Engineer Worktable Type (TInker, Masonry, etc.) : Tinker table Items: Can upgrade tools of others, make special gear (I.e. diving helmet and Heavy boots) Optional Description: One must be at least a fair tinker before going down the Engineer profession. Engineers are able to work with blacksmiths, able to sharpen the tools they forge and reinforce the armor they make. Engineers can also take normal armor and tinker with them, giving them different effects. The two I thought up were the diving helmet from the tinker's skill, and Heavy boots to reduce knock back and speed (think of the Iron boots from legend of zelda)
