Lafthi Sylvari 12 Share Posted July 2, 2011 Hail Fellow Elves! For everyone who doesn't know me I am Lafthi, Diplomat of the Laurelin and the High Prince. If you don't know what a diplomat is, basically I go around to the other nations and speak with their leaders on behalf of the High Prince. Lately however I haven't had any time to do anything besides this. Which is why, with the consent of the High Prince, I have been allowed to form: ~~~The Laurelin Diplomatic Corps~~~ At this point the Laurelin Diplomatic Corps is seeking three diplomats, one for the Dwarves, Humans and Orcs. Potential candidates should not be in bad relations with the nation they are applying for, and it would be a plus if they are in good relations. These diplomats will meet with their nation and report to the Head Diplomat at least once every two days. Then at least once a week there will be a meeting between all of the diplomats at the Laurelin Ciplomatic Corps Building, (formerly the Elven Council Building.) Diplomats must be willing to spend a good chunk of time outside of Laurelin. You will get paid every once in a while but a large majority of the benefits of this job are the perks! Any questions? If so, explain: I am applying for the Dwarven nation. It is the nation that I am most familiar with and friendly with. Why are you interested in this job? Ever since now I have been a simple woodcutter, supplying goods for our nation. And although that was important, I feel I can contribute more by being a diplomat and woodcutting on the side. What qualifies you for this position? You trusted me enough to approach me in-game beforehand. Would you be willing to spend a a large amount of time outside of Laurelin? Except for when I am storing items or collecting valuables, I spend most of my time outside of Laurelin already. So that is a yes. How much time do you spend on LoC a week? At least 15+ hours. If so, explain: I wish to to become a diplomat for the Kingdom of Oren. I have traveled to Oren many times to trade goods and information. Once, I was able to turn in to Brum the Oren guard. Why are you interested in this job? I wish to ensure good relations between the humans and elves. What qualifies you for this position? I know the fastest routes to Oren, and have only had good relations with the humans. Would you be willing to spend a a large amount of time outside of Laurelin? I already do spent much of my time in and around Oren, so that wouldn't be a problem for me. How much time do you spend on LoC a week? 15-20 hours a week Do you have any signifigant stats? If so, explain: The kingdom of Oren, no negatives, mainly positives as I am a guard of Oren, I have helped people but mostly clean out the roads of mobs. Why are you interested in this job? I live (or will live) in Laurelin, by will live I mean 1 minute before this post before a restart I was about to buy a house in Laurelin because Pathfinder Tracker Lavanthus helped. What qualifies you for this position? I have a higher sense in reasoning I suppose,because I can see the bigger picture.It doesn't matter if the best decision is bad. It is the best decision. Would you be willing to spend a a large amount of time outside of Laurelin? Yes. As I like travelling and greeting people as well as looking at the structures. How much time do you spend on LoC a week? Est. 42 Hours Do you have any signifigant stats? Level 34 swords? Not that big but it's my main stat as I am a guard. If so, explain: I am applying for Oren, I have lived in Oren for most of my life in Aegis, and have been a member of the guard from the beginning, eventually working my way up to my current position, First Lieutenant, second in command of the guard. Why are you interested in this job? I am a social person and enjoy both travelling and speaking to people. What qualifies you for this position? I have good reputation in Oren and am good friends with many in Oren, and have no enemies. Would you be willing to spend a a large amount of time outside of Laurelin? Yes. How much time do you spend on LoC a week? at least a few hours each day. Do you have any signifigant stats? not really, I have a pretty average stat range, although my highest is swords being a guard, and I am trying to work on my archery. If so, explain: Orcs no negative contact while no positive either Why are you interested in this job? Because I wish to bring peace to the elves as well as help the elves in the economy. As well as do somthing good for the elves and be remembered. What qualifies you for this position? I am a great talker and always looking at things from more than one point of view. I am very honest and do not crack under pressure, as well I am hard to get mad, I can keep calm and cool while talking. Would you be willing to spend a a large amount of time outside of Laurelin? Of course, I can meet new people explore new lands. How much time do you spend on LoC a week? At least 1 hour a day, waaaaayyyyy more on weekends. Do you have any signifigant stats? I want to promote peace between the races of egypt, and form a mutual protection pact against the undead. What qualifies you for this position? I am a member of the warden, however i feel as though organized military is not for me. ((i was curious about how it was run and next thing i know i'm enlisted)) Would you be willing to spend a a large amount of time outside of Laurelin? I already do, so yes. If so, explain: I am applying for any open spots, I have had no negative contact with any of them. Why are you interested in this job? I am interested because it has been my dream to work for Malinor, and to spread peace and trust between the Nations. What qualifies you for this position? I am a kind person, easy to talk to, very approchable, have well manners and show respect. I know how to keep my mouth shut in situations and when to voice an opinion, I'm talkative, I know how to be responsible. I am overall a kind and respectful Elf. Would you be willing to spend a large amount of time outside of Laurelin? Oh yes! I love traveling and have done so many times. It will also help to keep things interesting when I return, that way something new will always be there so its not the "same old same old" How much time do you spend on LoC a week? Roughly about 4 hours every night on week days and more on week ends. Do you have any signifigant stats? Not really, I most talk to the worlds people and travel. As a wanderer I witness many interesting events that could potentially escalate, but not wanting to be tied down I realise that I am not a strong candidate to be a diplomat. I'd like to see some more explanatory signage at the Elven Counsel Diplomats offices for how we can inform a nation's ambassador.
