Temp 2006 Share Posted August 5, 2014 House Thersist Current Recognized members of Family These are the only actual legitimate OOC and IC members of the House at this time. Bruta Thersist - Head of House - TgTemplar Kodrik Thersts - The middle child - Unplayed.Parte Thersist - The Youngest - UnplayedPurpose House Thersist acts as a labor house for the Imperial crown. Offering services from menial task to crown council when requested. The head of house, Bruta Thersist, was once a member of the Marked, as is current family tradition. Due to the interests in furthering the bloodlines, the burdens of the Marked are relinquished on the current sons. House Tradition House Thersist, like most houses of Kaedrin, are nearly fanatical in worship of the Creator. Those of Thersist care precious little for circular conversation and typically prefer outright action over speculation. It’s expected for all members of House to attend mass Twice an Elven month. All members of House serve the Crown in some manner. Be it farming or militant service. Those deemed incompetent or lazy are disowned and ejected from the House. At the age of 10, boys of the house are given option between study of skill or general study. At the age of 16, the young men of the house are to either turn all their time to their chosen skill or join a militant order in service to the crown. Minor Backstory House Thersist is generally subtle in nature, finding it’s roots in Ager of Asulon. From there, the house served under house Therving, doing varied tasks for matters of diplomacy. Due to circumstance, Thersist abandoned service to the house and sought out service to the crown, eventually falling under the Rose. Through years of service to the Rose, Temp was raised to the rank of Decurion, where he’d remained the duration of his career, receiving various forms of imperial recognition for services to the crown. Militant aggressions nearly non-existent for some time in Anthos, Thersist turned his attentions to the ‘wildlife’ of the area, eventually forming ”The Marked.” The Marked focused heavily on the study and extermination of creatures found to be cursed or perverted from the Creator’s original intent. After recruiting several members and arranging long-term training, The Marked beheaded the first Cockatrice of Anthos, immediately turning their attentions outwards and hunting creatures in lands outside of Kaedrin. Kaedrin taking land in mass quantities, a small island was given to The Marked as a base of operations and training ground. On this island, the training process was perfected and study of creatures was detailed, eventually leading to the creation of a large library. But, as the studies were nearing what had been considered completion at the time, an order was given to The Marked and majority of the Rose. Without explanation, the library was caught alight and the men took to ships, following Oren in it’s Exodus to new lands. For Decades, House Thersist faded from view, abruptly returning on the orders of an unnamed figure with the order to reclaim lost grounds. Having completed his objective with assistance of the ‘OSL’ and various houses of Oren, King Peter made his return. Kaedrin was once again ‘established,’ and Thersist was awarded Imperial recognition for persisted unpaid services to the crown. - Will be Updated with a bit more when 4.0 rolls out.- Status Recognized Not noted as Landed NobilityLabor House to the Crown and House Savoie until honors of elevation are granted.
