Levy And Labor Recruitment: Thersist

Several posters are hung up within Aldersberg and the surrounding lands, generally anywhere near the major traffic hubs to and from the Capital. They would read as follows:

Labor Division


Mining

Unlimited need.

As a miner you will be digging deep into the earth with provided tools in an effort to unearth valuable ores.

60% of the uncovered ores are surrendered to House Thersist.
Half of the surrendered acts as payment to the local lord, for access to their land's mines.
The other Half falls to House Thersist, to maintain the equipment needed to mine.
The remaining 40% may go to whatever the laborer sees fit.

Blacksmith

Position filled.

As a Blacksmith you will be producing the goods required to maintain the productivity of the House's labor. You will also be producing the arms and armor needed to maintain the Levy.

Payment is based on commission.
Things done for the House will all be done with the House's resources.
Simply gives a man the right to maintain and run the House Blacksmith and shop.

Lumberjack

Unlimited need.

As a lumberjack you will be collecting, well, lumber for construction and use in creation of tools.
Much like the miners, you will be surrendering 60% of the collected goods.

House Cooks

Single sets of hands needed.

As a House Cook you will be, as the name suggests, cooking collected food items to keep both the Levy and Labor forces going.

Payment to be negotiated.



Levy Service

The Levy of House Thersist will act as lesser-law enforcement, general guard of region and in times of conflict will maintain a position on the field, as demanded by the Imperial Army.

It is highly suggested that those wishing to join do research on the history of House Thersist and it's dealings but is not required.

Ranks


Captain
 

This position is second to the Head of House Thersist in command.
It will be tasked with maintaining the Levy on and off the field. This position will also discipline the Levy when inappropriate action is taken by the men.

Sergeant

Tasked with maintaining the gear and rations of the Levy. These men will work closely with the Recruits in an effort to keep them within a scope of action. These men also train the trainee's.



Grunt

The Bulk of the levy. These men, alongside a Sergeant, will walk the streets during times of peace, in an effort to maintain the peace.

Recruit

This is where you will start. You will tend to labors, train under the sergeants and be taught what is required of you over the span of a training duration.

I'm Max R, and I can be your blacksmith laborer. I'm a fit male, and I can do all of your blacksmith needs. I can also do a little bit of mining and lumber jacking if needed.

After a short duration several couriers are sent out in an effort to deliver response, each carrying an identical scroll. The young men split and seem to head in random directions as they attempt to find their targets, having nothing more than a name and gender to go off of.
