Definitions

 

These terms are a major part of the server and in a few of our rules. Please define them so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers or check on our wiki, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!

 

What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is to gather with a group of people and play the role of someone you choose to be in an imaginary theater without a fixed scenario. It is to be someone else than yourself. Thinking, feeling, responding like the person you choose to be. Consuming that character, and play your role as them.

 

What’s metagaming?: - Using an information IC that your character could not have IC. For example, your character is bruised in dark and does not know who did it. But you saw the nickname of the person who did it, and consider your character knew who it was.

 

What’s powergaming?: - Doing unnatural actions that your character is not capable of doing, like tearing off a man's head in Mortal Kombat style. Having no psycological damage after a car crash. Being invincible to fear, pain, cold or heat.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that you follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): -  Yahya was a Highlander living in a Highlander village. Since his childhood, listening stories about his grandfather from his father was his favorite thing to do. His grandfather was a skilled warrior among Adunians. His grandfather also had joined the Phoenix Revolution. When he grew up to age of 25, he travelled to Petrus, to do research about the Phoenix Revolution in the Libraries. He found out that his grandfather and his personal items were buried with him in a graveyard. He went there, found his grandfather's grave. He burned his grandfather's skeleton to let him rest in peace, collected his grandfather's items, and returned them to his village. When he returned his village, he became known by his people of the honourable action he did. He became someone liked by his people.  But also there were ones who did not like him too, ofcourse. People who envied his social statue. They decided to make a trick to him. They arranged a woman, they paid her to tell the people that Yahya attacked to her. But people knew Yahya, he would have not done such a thing like that. So they decided to trick him in front of people. They called him to a meeting in a small hut, as expected, the woman was there alone. When he entered, she sealed the door. Yahya was confused of the condition he was in. Her face was full of bruises. Woman began to cry out loudly for help. The trickers were waiting for it, crowd gathered around the hut, and when they crushed the door, saw Yahya inside with the woman. She rushed outside with tears on her face, crying. That was when Yahya got aware of the situation, but late. Crowd took him outside, yelling and beating him. They chained him, he waited in the cell until the next morning. He was taken to the elders of his people, found guilty and banished from his home. Hated and dishonored, Yahya travelled away in despair, thinking of that how could he regain his honour back.

 

What are they like? (personality): - Determined, honest, good hearted, mindful, generous, honorable.

 

What are their ambitions?: - Gaining his honour, fame and renown among the people back.

 

Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - 

Skills: Hasty swordmaster, has a neat speech, strategist.

Weaknesses:  His eyes gets tired quickly, has chronic migraine, impatient, does not hold his tounge mostly, he is quick to trust, confused about things that happen very quick.
