Hello everyone,

Past weekend I fooled around a bit on my own server, and I decided to build a hobbit burrow since I never made one before. And now here I am showing it to you guys since im rather proud of my creation. And to add something to that proudness, I made it in survival mode :)

The Resort Map:

The Outside:

You notice a large big hill in the distance, as you close in you can see that there is something build in this hill.

The Inside:

As you walk into the building you notice a banner and its matching carpet, you feel an urge to explore this burrow.

Entrancehall:

On the left side there seems to be a some sort of storageroom.

Storage:

As you walk into the next room you smell fresh baked cake, there even seem to be missing some slices.

Crafting area:

As you continue exploring the newfound home you hear barking and big footsteps, a slight shiver crosses your back but you keep going onwards.

Main hall:

The big footsteps seemed to be comming from the Guardian wandering the home, it seems neutral towards you. As you walk by you notice a small room on the side, it looks like an office.

The Office:

After looking at the office you continue onwards, going towards the sound of barking.

The Bedroom:

Continueing onwards as you dont want to get any closer to the dog you walk into the sidehall, there seems to be some sort of wheatstorage.

Sidehall:

Walking into the sidehall there seems to be some sort of library on the side, in the middle of the room stands an odd looking table.

The Enchanting room:

After looking over some of the books you continue onwards the sidehall, looking at your left you see a room closed down with iron doors.

Netherwardfarm:

Only looking for a brief moment you turn the otherway around and walk into final room, chests filled with rare ingredients and bottles, a table with brewing stands and claudrons full of water.

The Brewinghall:

After wandering around for a bit you feel satisfied, walking out the home and heading off on your own way.

I hope you enjoyed watching these pictures and following the ministory as much as I enjoyed making it, have a good one :)

This is a really good start for your first ever hobbit burrow, but try to focus on three aspects - simple, small and cozy. Make the best out of stairs and slabs to form small and tight doorways and corridors, and arch the room ceilings to make a circular shape. Remember that hobbits would really only be a block or so in height, so you really don't need any rooms higher than two and a half or three blocks tall.

Overall, it's a great start. Just try to condense it a bit and give it more of a cozy feeling rather than a "too-roomy" feeling.

Thanks for your advice, I tried to do it small first but since its survial I sorta wanted a room for every aspect of the game, and fourblock rooms fitted the best in my opinion. But if I'm making a new one ill probally do it in creative and then it could easily be smaller and more curved ;)
