Soooo... All of a sudden my muse slapped me upside the head with this idea, and is not letting up until I write some of it down. This is a crossover with my idea of what is "real life" Minecraft and Lord of the Craft. Comments would be nice. Critiques would be appreciated.

It was finally over.

The Elder Guardians were slain, dying to defend their vaunted temples underneath the sea, now plundered of riches.

The Creeping Withers  were destroyed, their hellish Stars stolen to light the sky with beams of light.

And now the Great Dragon of the End was meeting it's own end in a burst of light, color, and energies.

It reflected briefly. It did not know why.

It never understood why. When It awoke for the first time, what urge overcame It to start punching the tree. How the perfect blocks It would take out of the air would enter Its body, disappearing until they were called into Its hand. Why It crafted simple tools. Why It mined deep into the dirt and stone to uncover metals and gems. Why It killed every animal that crossed It's path. Why during the dark time things came out of the Darkness and tried to kill It. And succeed many times.

There were many things It didn't know. But right now, It knew that something had happened. A sense of... accomplishment? The word flashed into It's mind. A strange tingling in Its chest cavity. Anticipation? Another new meaning. It noted that learning two meanings so close together was unusual.

The light display was ending, the Dragon's remains floating to the ground. A final flash.

On the ground rested a large pool of the same starry blackness that brought It here. At the very top rested a black, shiny dragon egg. Similar to what came out of the chicken. The feeling returned. The feeling that It should place down blocks, attaching them to the pillar to create a stairway to reach the egg.

In Its mind's eye, It accessed the energy and matter stored within Its core. The battle had depleted Its supplies. A nearly broken diamond sword and iron helmet, some bread, an enchanted pickaxe of efficiency, and the 14 orbs collected from dead Endermen.

Quickly It summoned the pickaxe, collecting the surrounding stone and making a crude set of stairs in short order. A couple seconds later saw It on top, Egg in hand. It quickly dispelled the egg into the core, safe and secure.

The feeling was back.

Jump.

~Elsewhere~

The proud monks of the Cloud Temple stilled in their work, a sharp cracking noise coming from the chamber that held the Waters of Life and Death.

-----Stopping here for now------

So in my "head canon" on Minecraft, Steve is a sort of bio-construct of uncertain origin that superficially looks like a human. Steve (and any other avatar in minecraft) has no gender, with only superficial appearance giving any form of gender. Its purpose is unknown, though I imagine the default state for Steve is to simply mine, build, and eat. And by eat, I mean stuff he can grow in a farm. Total vegetarian. Anything else, such as arming itself, killing, and any other form of destructive action is the result of influence from an outside source. This outside source would never directly control Steve, rather simply give subtle suggestions, or "feelings" that a simple construct like Steve would be unable to resist.

Bleh, my muse has finished strangling me now. I'll come back and add more tomorrow possibly. Feel free to leave a comment or critique bellow.
