This is my first attempt at writing up an Rp post on the forums.. Hope you all enjoy! If all goes well there will be more posts like this coming out, keep an eye out for these places in Rp as i will be doing my best to try and provide some more 'dark' rp for the Aussie timezones and American timezones when i can. This is just an account of what my character, Mordeqai, has been up to over the past few days. Please tell me what you think.

You walk along the Stone Road, for whatever reason you find yourself here in the dead of night. The full moon lingering in the midnight sky, a silent observer of the events to come. An ice cold wind blows around you, embracing you with its touch. You recall the events of the previous day and the rumours heard in idle conversation, one in particular stands out to you...

Men, Women and Children all disappearing along the Stone Road, all vanishing without a trace. Thinking about it for a few minutes as you walk down the road you find it odd that people could vanish along the stone road without anybody noticing.

A strange sensation creeps into your mind as you take the next turn, the hairs on the back of your next stand rigid. You stop, seeing a figure standing between the trees ahead of you, cold eyes staring straight at you. Blinking the figure vanishes and you believe that the shadows are just playing tricks with your mind, seeing upon closer inspection that the shadows of a few branches were what you saw..

Quickly looking around the area you continue on your way, glancing over your shoulder periodically, unable to shake the feeling you are being followed. The next couple of minutes are eerily quiet, only the disfigured shadows and the gnarled branches to keep you company as you hurry along the pass.

A scream up ahead breaks the silence and you run from the path, forging a trail through the thick undergrowth of the forest until you come to a stop. Everything returning to the eerie silence of before. It isn't until you catch your breath and recover your senses that you see the grisly display before you.

The tortured and mutilated corpses of a man, women and child hang upside down on one of the gnarled branches of the tree before you, their empty sockets and twisted faces greeting you as you survey the scene. A large bowl full of blood rests on the ground under the woman, her life still flowing from her slit wrists into the vessel under her. It is clear the same thing happened to both the man and child.

Upon the bowl you see a hastily carved inscription 'Iblees' and on the tree, written in the blood of the three victims is a warning to those that read it.

'It has only just begun..'

*As you are wandering upon the pine forests near oren, you notice a fell and gruesome scene. The crown of a small "Munchkin", one of Iblees's minions, driven through a great spike rising from the ground. It rots, and carrion crows flutter around it, tearing flesh and flaying the head. Around it is a putrescent sleet of blood and gore, and the pike has been drenched halfway in the creature's swill.

A sign has been hung around the pike, from letters painted in gold:

"If thou hast followed the wicked path of Iblees, tvrn back nowe, or face thys fate.

She did not repent, shall you?"

Mordeqai stumbles upon the scene while heading North, admiring the brutality of the display before him as he moves in closer. He pries the head from the stake, letting the blood dripping from the head coat his arm as he inspects it. His eyes glimpse the sign hanging from around the pike as he places the dismembered head atop it once more.

"Repent.."

The faintest of smirks appears on his face as he tilts his head to one side

"Do not hold your breath.."

Without another word he departs, skulking back into the night, leaving the scene without another thought.
