Ayelith's Arrival In Petrus

The day is cold and dark, rain pours down everywhere a figure is seen running in the shadows from under one tree to another, the sound of squelching as each foot hits the ground. the figure runs to the gate of Petrus as the torch light reaches the once shadowed figure it is clear that the being human but a hood covers the face... The guard shouts

 

"Remove the hood and state your Name and Business!"

 

The being quickly follows, it is clear at this point that the dashing figure is of no harm, A blonde haired lass removes the hood and flicks her now damp hair over her shoulder, without sounding annoyed she replies

 

"Ayelith Headsted, And for business I want to get out this bloody rain and into something warm, Maybe I could seek the City Tavern?"

 

Now a hint of sadness comes over her words as she looks up at the gate keeper, rain dripping on her face runs down her nose and drips to the ground. The gate keeper ponders on her request before turning to the cranks to open the heavy gates, Ayelith applies her hood and swiftly moves into the city where the buildings shelter her slightly better than the trees before. She continues up the main street where she is met by a man so grand she is forced to stop, he walks to her a speaks

 

"What is a lone'lass like you doing out hear on a day like this?"

 

He speaks with grace, Ayeliths looks at the armored man and becomes nervous. Ayelith stands still and broad to show confidence though in her head she was nervous.

 

"I am new to these lands and this City at that, I'm seeking the local Taven to stay the night before I can leave, Nice warm clothes and something to eat would do nicely at this time"

 

She gives a warm smile to the man before shuddering, The armored man see she is clearly a damsel in distress, with that he leads her to The Drunken Dragon where the two are met by the Tavern keeper, A man of similar age to Ayelith green robes and orange hair, The tavern keeper stands straight up at the sight of Ayelith and this mysterious man. The armored speaks to the Keeper...

 

"Sam! This is Ayelith...I need you to give her a bed for the night and maybe something to eat aswell, but for now I have things to attend to see that she is well kept please"

 

He then continues to walk out only giving a small nod to Sam and Ayelith, as he leaves Sam relaxes a adjusts his clothes in a odd fashion. as the armored man walks out Sam replies

 

"Yes Tuvya your Grace, she will be looked after you words have been noted"

 

Sam then looks at Ayelith who is now pale faced and queezy, She now knows who had showed her the way through the city to the Tavern, she stumbles a little before fainting to the ground. Ayelith wakes up in a comfy bed, she widens her eyes to see she has made it to a room, she changes into her dry cloths and make her way downstairs, the Tavern is filled with people...She made it her after her long journey. Her new day began in the city, she smiles to the new faces hoping they would introduce themselves.....
