How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I was look for an RP server without whitelists and I found this magical server.... (no sarcasm intended)

In-Character Information

Character’s name: Phobos Hellspune
Character’s gender: Male
Character’s race: Human, Heartlander
Character’s age: 18
 

Biogrphy: The only child of a well-off trader family, Phobos lived a quaint and boorish life in the city of Petrus. As a child he was unable to go outside due to a weak heart and sensitive skin; he stayed inside his home most of his life. This condition, afraid that their child may die any day, ensured that his parents coddled him exceedingly and effectivily spoiled him. As well as being spoiled, he has no idea of the major events that happened outside of his life in the small manor, shielded by his parents from the horrors of the world. Though, having his weak body (and knowing nothing of that world) Phobos has always dreamed of going outside of his manor and seeing the world himself, playing as a pirate , swordsmen, magician in his free time when he was alone or with boys his age. Most of his free time however was taken up by the books he read of magic. 

As Phobos grew older, fifteen at the most, his health became stronger, in which he relished finally being able to practice sword play with his father and friends. Finally, with this new health came the mobility such as leaving the house,where he took advantage of by buying groceries with the house 2 or 3 servants when he could. At times, he would also sneak out of town and speak to the dryads closest to his city where he'd find peace speaking to several different dryad as he could, causing his parents much stress. As Phobos finally came of age of travel he begge-- asked his parents if he could leave the "nest" and see the world in his own eyes. His parents tried to tell the boy the evils he may see in his journey, however, this delighted him even more, as dream of facing the "Undead" that his parents where speaking of. Through tears his foolish parents realized that they are to late, hiding him away from horrors, such as Iblees, they made him ignorant. After a days of waiting and deciding they let him go, knowing that they couldn't refuse him any long, they gave him their blessing to leave Hellspune manor and go out himself to see the world and have his very own adventure: or see the very horror of the world and hope that this would scare him back home, if he survives that long...

 

Personality Traits: Phobos is naturally optimistic and adventurous, but cautious young man. Though,he is spoiled he isn't selfish, willing to do chores for almost anyone. The young man is quiet, shy, and especially timid among other humans. though among dryads he is quite  friendly, knowing how most dryads tick. At times he can also be known to have a one track mind, corresponding with his innate families stubbornness.

 

Ambitions: Besides going out to for his own adventure and see the world and its very inhabitants, Phobos looks to master magic and learn alchemy, maybe. He then hopes to, one day, fully combine the two to make a new power to teach others, which he plans to call 'Arcane ' magic. If not he just plans to have many adventures and have fun doing it, planning to learn how to better himself in the art of cooking.

 

Strengths/Talents: As a child, Phobos always had in the manor most of his life,  where books were his best friends. Thus reading many book, Phobos also has a mind full of most laws the human world. (OOC: I'm not sure if this is a Strength or talent.) Besides his literary skills, Phobos also seems to ally quickly with most dryads, being that they we're the only kind that we're his first friends. 
 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Due to most of his life in the manor, Phobos isn't physically as strong as most Heartlanders. He also has a weaker heart than most men forcing him to have a lot less stamina than most mortals generally. Due to his short (less than 2) years in training, Phobos absolutely sucks at sword play of any kind.

 

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Phobos is a young man of above average stature, saying thus he is 5"8' and has a build of something between lithe and slightly sickly. He has white, silver-ish hair and blue eyes from a minor magic accident he had. His skin is milkish-white, filling in with his albino like look with sharpish features in his chin and freckles across his nose.

• Your powergaming definition is wrong. I recommend looking at our wiki pages or another website for examples on the definition we are looking for.
• Your character is too young to have been born in Petrus. Hint: He would not have lived in the same house now as he the one he was born in.
• Why would talking to a dryad cause his parents stress? Why would his father teach him to use a sword if he was still worried about his health?

 

• A small reminder~ your character cannot know magic before coming onto the server, you may find a teacher through rp. Also, arcane magic is simply called magic on the server. I'm not exactly sure what you meant, so I felt that I should put this in.

 

I was asked to deny this, as the applicant felt they wanted to spend more time researching the lore and developing the character.
