Edict of the Lord Steward
 
Clarifying the purpose of the High Steward
Issued and Confirmed by his Majesty, Alexander Carrion, King of Oren
 
 
At the will of His Imperial Majesty the King of Oren Alexander Tuvic Carrion ,the powers and duties of the Lord Steward of the Kingdom of Oren are enumerated herein.
 
The Office is herein bestowed upon Imperial Prince, Paul Ostrovic Carrion, passes, resigns or is dismissed from office.
 
Civil Duties
i. The duty to in run Royal Company
ii. The Duty to Draft and Maintain the Law of the Realm
. iii. The duty to maintain and oversee all land holdings within the Kingdom.
iv. The duty to act as a land & financial organiser and overseer of all land holdings within the Kingdom.
v. The duty to uphold and maintain the Capital of Oren, Petrus, and any other holdings within the Kingdom.
vi. The duty to assist the Lord Marshal with militant economic matters.
vii. The duty to organise and enforce any tax regulations or tithes within the Kingdom.
vii. The duty to organise the economic situation
viii. The duty to organise the Royal and Civil treasuries of the Kingdom.
 
Civil Powers
i. The ability to halt, start or oversee any construction within the Kingdom without the King’s command.
ii. The ability to set the tax regulations within the Kingdom with the King’s approval.
iii. The ability to make direct reforms within the treasury
iv. The ability to appoint a Treasurer if the Lord Steward’s duties become too much of a burden.
v. The ability to enlist the help of the Lord Marshal with militant assistance with any economic matters.
vi. The ability to maintain a squad of Surveyors to assist the Lord Steward
vii. The Ability to Call the Privy Council to meeting
viii. The ability to pass civil edicts to enact changes within Petrus with the King's approval.
