Trouble Connecting. ((You Can Just Ignore This, I Solved It))

Hey all.  I've been trying to connect to the server for abt an hour or two now and i keep getting this error.  I've tried to do a dns lookup to get the actual ip (104.28.7.66) but when i use it i get a different error... (Failure to connect to the server, Java.net.ConnectExeption: Connection timed out: no further information: /104.28.7.66:25565"  The server looks insanely cool from the little bit i have seen and i have been looking for a good rp server.  It is very disheartening to find one and then be unable to make use of it..  According to third party sites your server is up, and i do not believe that at this time minecraft.net is having any server errors.  I've restarted my computer out of sheer frustration already and dont know what else to do.  If i could get some help here that would be wonderful.

 

(edit) I tried a different lookup, and it gave me a different ip address (31.220.14.241) and this time it looks like it's connecting but refusing because i'm not using the server's domain name "Unknown server: 31.220.14.241 Please use the server domain to connect!"  

 

((edit)) If it's simply because the server is still down from whenever long ago, feel free to call me an idiot and move on with your day :3

 

(((edit))) I found the other post with a link, but i cant figure out what im doing with it which is the only reason i'm leaving this here.
