Amongst the towers of stone our minds toil,

Forging a path for the Elves of Old,

There shall be no faltering in our dedication to Haelun'or,

For this is the way of the wise and the bold.

While worlds around us decay to ash and others wield their legions afield, the elves of this world persist. Unfettered by decay of the mind or body, or kin endure ages of plenty and ages of suffering without the welcome and final embrace of death. The eons shape our kin, teaching them the way of the past and how it will repeat again to shape our future. Our past defines our future. Few in number but great in capacity are we, for each act made by one individual casts grave implication upon all of our kind. It is thus the future of one elf is the future of many.

 

It is thus the minds of but some are not enough to shape this future of our’s. It is therefore these Gentle Elves of Haelun’or seek to extend their web of sentience out— So that it might learn from elves from as near as Laureh’lin or as far flung as the wild lands.

 

We seek not war nor conflict but intellect and the solace of knowledge. We seek not anguish and despair but the success that comes from the cooperation of the many. We seek those who shall further this cause.
