Definitions Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is taking the role of a character via establishing his backstory and past, then developing onwards by enouncting situations, developing roleplay and making a immersive experience. RP is basically in many scenarios being a character and acting out their story by roleplaying whatever they encounter during their journeys in the realm. What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using out of character information to an extent of advantage over the opposing force, mostly it being a combat situation such as a raid or skirmish, or even a warclaim. Without knowing it in character and using it, it counts as Metagaming, and makes no sense for anyone who didn't know it IG to use it. What is powergaming?: Powergaming is using unrealistic actions that your character has not learnt via IC to your own advantage in any situation that involves either combat or general roleplay. Most powergaming occurs due to the character breaking the lore for their own advantage, i.e drawing a massive blade that would weigh 200 kg IRL, but holding it like a feather, or killing everyone with one emote, and debating that it is logical. In-Character Information Character’s name: Haas Nikoli Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human/ Character’s age: 31 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Haas Nikoli was born in an outskirt village during the Chivay regime of the Imperium Empire of Oren. He was born to a dark elf mother, whom served a noble lord in his manor near Kaer Angren. Growing up as a young boy, Haas was an adventurous lad, whom climbed trees, ran far, found new things to interact with. He used to roam the countryside with his pet dog, Habib, who was loyal to young Haas, and followed him wherever his adventures led. When he reached the age of 17, Haas was approaching the drawbridge of Oren, when a rogue dwarf (The Dwarves were at aggression with Oren at the time) committed suicide by mixing explosive substances and blowing himself up at the bridge. His dog, Habib was caught in the explosion and died, making young Haas heartbroken. After he reached the adult years, Haas always remembered Habib like he was his son. After spending months working at a local tavern as a cleaner, he planned adventures all across Athera, leading to the North and then the south. Twas a normal day, the sky was clear weather perfect, when the Chivay empire collapsed, forcing Haas to run from the Empire under fear of death. He ran far, and found new things. He ventured into the Elven princedoms, and the Ork capitals, a lust for adventure. He then ended up along the Athera Highway, where his new adventure starts here, a 31 year old man and his sword by his side. Personality Traits: Haas is rather ambitious of sorts, and seeks adventure into new lands. He seems happy a lot, and has a grin on his face almost all the time. He seems rather fatigued during hostile situations, and keeps clear away from them. Ambitions: Haas wishes to be a known man, and gain a lot of fame within the Realm. He wishes to be talented, and unique, unlike any man. Somewhat special compared to your average nomad, and wants to learn combat skills such as sword and mace. Strengths/Talents: He knows his way around the land, and always carries gold with him, making it useful for him to bribe people or simply buy supplies. Weaknesses/Inabilities: He cannot partake in combat very well due to his inexperience in it, and posses little to none knowledge in swords or archery. Plus that, he is not very strong, and faces little to none threat to any man.
