What’s the rule you agree with the most?: No hacking, because hackers just ruin the rp experience and in general multiplayer experience. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): No, because they're the basic rules I use pretty much. How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I was told to check out the website and apply by a friend, so I did do the first thing, and that's why I'm applying right now. Definitions Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! What is roleplaying?: My definition is pretty much finding a role and acting as that role, in this case it'd be playing the role I made. What is metagaming?: My definition is when you use what you found out before to have advantages. What is powergaming?: My definition is when you play for a goal to max out your stats on a given game and not play what the game offers you to do. In-Character Information Character’s name: John Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human Character’s age: 18 (at least for now) Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): John was one a little kid like us all, who lived in the realm of Anthos. He is a Highlander, lives a bit away from the cities. He always wondered what it would be like to be from another race or realm, but he still liked his human form and even though the humans had the shortest lifespan he prefered it the most. At the age of 10 he started studying dark magic, because that sounded the best to him, because he loved the idea of the power it'd give him. He was never an evil person but, always craved more power. He never payed attention to what was happening around him and always tried to be the best. John was a pretty much a neutral person and would only take sides if bribed. He loved the ideas of money and power and always, till this day dreamed of somehow becoming king. He, wished he could be the best of them all and even at times planned to battle the king for the kingdom, but never did since he couldn't get the power to beat the king, because of his lack of money. On this day John is trying to find some way to be powerful, weather being a baron or king, he just doesn't want to be just a simple peasant anymore. At the age of 16 John decided to join the Shade group and he unlike the rest of his ideas actually did become a Shade. He always kept someone close to him to borrow aura from. Let me tell you an adventure John once had. He was out in the woods getting some firewood to heat his place. He didn’t have to wander far to find fire wood, but then he thought he saw something , so he went to check it out. He found foot prints, that looked like the footprint of an orc, or so he though. He walked for about a mile following the foot print but couldn’t find anything. He decided to quit when suddenly a blunt object came and in a flash, he was knocked out cold. Later he woke up and was in a small mossy cave that smelled like orc droppings. He could also hear the grunting of a warrior orc and the clanging of their armor. He had a throbbing pain just above his left eye and could feel the blood dripping from above it. He tried to get up but winced in pain, as he lifted up his right arm, he thought it must of broken when he fell. The orc heard the commotion and came to see what was up. He came to the cage he but John in and saw that he was awake. He told John that while he was working on a tree on top of where he was standing he dropped his hammer, and the reason he was on the tree was because he was building a tree fort for his son. He took him to tend to him and make sure he was alright. So he did as he said and tended to John till John was all better, then John went home. Personality Traits: A little bit shy, a little bit greedy, always wants more, a little selfish, neutral, deceitful. Doesn't like to be around people too much, thinks of people like obstacles, and is obsessive. Ambitions: Money, power. Strengths/Talents: Being deceitful, he can trick people into getting what he wants. He is good at parkour and isn't afraid to get dirty or hurt. He usually succeeds in what he wants to accomplish, and he can stay hidden. He is a member of Shade. He is also a quick learner. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Doesn't have many allies, and relies on peoples aura which makes him less powerful. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): He would be the size of Minecraft Steve (6'1), and would weigh about 200 pounds. John has a unique taste in clothes and had someone make a custom outfit to fit his style. Your meta-gaming and power-gaming definitions are incorrect. Your biography contains little server lore; lore for Athera (the newest realm) is found here: http://wiki.lordofthecraft.net/Athera Your character cannot know magic or be a shade prior to joining the server. The last story in your biography doesn't make too much sense, why would an Orc build a tree fort for his son?
