Character’s name: Squerb

Character’s gender: Male

Character’s race: Half-Goblin

Character’s age: 30

Biography: Squerb is a half-goblin half-human whitewash. He was kept as a slave in secret in Aldersberg until he was 18, and spoke exclusively in grunts, as he was never taught any kind of language. Squerb formed different kinds of grunts for their corresponding desires, such as hunger and exhaustion, but nothing too complex. Squerb was often beat upon during his time as a slave, seeing as he was incapable of fighting back in any way, and couldn't negotiate out of the beatings. Close to when he turned 18, though, a mass of undead attacked the camp which he called home in the middle of the night. Squerb ran like a maniac from the group, watching his workmates be torn to pieces, yet feeling nothing of the sight. He managed to escape the camp through the dismay, taking only a set of clothing with him, and ran through the night for as long as he could. He decided to find a life among peaceful goblins who would not beat upon him along the way, imagining the beauty of such a thing. He came to a small clearing in the forest, miles from civilization, where he decided to rest for the night. He would build a small house with his bare hands the next morning, deciding where Squerb would spend the rest of his life.

Now 30, Squerb spends his time tinkering, as it keeps his mind away from thoughts of torture and endless work. He lives in the same home, now with a small farm attached to it, and complete with several animals. Squerb would try and tell you the animals are his friends, by any amount of grunts necessary. At one point, Squerb would come to meet another goblin by the name of Shwah. Shwah kept to himself, always muttering words Squerb would never understand, as if planning something. Squerb grew as close to Shwah as his disability would allow him, sharing food and belongings with him. Within a year, though, Shwah abruptly disappeared with a few of Squerb's pigs, never to be seen by Squerb again. With few "friends" left, Squerb now tends to his farm in a small area near Nerezza, and hopes for Shwah to return.
