What is roleplaying?:roleplay means being a character in a game and acting like your in that characters position while you play like you are a Orc in game but not in real life

What is metagaming?:As I roleplay on roleplaying servers.. I see a lot of people LOOKING at other peoples names and saying them. One... for example, my name is Miester999, someone's name in real life would NOT, I repeat NOT be Miester999. It would be something like Jon or Jeffrey. Metagaming is mixing OOC and IC. Or IC and OOC. Before I tell you about metagaming, OOC is Out of Character. Out of Character is just when you want to have plain fun, grind on NPC's and all that good stuff. IC (in character) is when you are In Character... now that's when you start roleplaying. So metagaming, metagaming - Mixing OOC and IC or IC and OOC. OOC and IC.. let's start with that, so if my name was Christian, I would tell the player so they wouldn't say my ACTUAL name. But they have to ask me my RP name first because I told them OOCly. Not ICly. So if I tell them OOCly and they call me "Christian" that would be metagaming,

What is powergaming?:Powergaming is forcing actions against another player. As so if in real life you would not instantly kill someone.. take their money and walk away /grammarfail. Here is an example of powergame. /me slices you in half, obviously you can not instantly slice someone in half. If they have a weapon they could parry it, if they have HEAVY armor they wouldn't be sliced in half, probably just cut or so.

Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): nyexelffen is a wood elf when he was a child he lived in anni sul an elven city one nice day his parents went to walk through the forest then a thief appeared, and killed them in front of nyexelfen crying he found his fathers dagger he found the dagger in his father's pocket nyexelfen left, he grew up crying himself to sleep every night one however one night he had a dream of his parents ,he woke up from his sleep, he lived in a inn near the northern mountains of Athera, when he walked outside the inn he saw a piece of paper on the floor he picked it up, it was a bounty on a thiefs head he went to find this thief when he found the thief was at the shards right next to the abyss nyexelfen walked slowly behind the thief and stabbed the thief repeatedly in the back and dropped, him it was him alright nyexelfen, stole the dead thiefs stuff and ran for it so he became a soldier/mercenary that day, while following the stone road for a walk bandits came on the road with spears and swords and try to stab Nyexelfen in the chest nyexelfen ran, a few weeks later he moved to the city of polaris.

Living in a inn that city nyexelfen earned money from mercenary work and eventually became a military soldier he was respected and as nyexelfen exits the city for mercanary work a man out side was Shouting words, however nyexelfen just ignored and walked, off then a minute later a cloaked figure stole his money Nagnuruk chased him and tacked him and took back his gold from this thief and stabbed the thief in the forehead and walked off and when he returned to the city he slept for a night. When he woke up, he left seeking out who killed his parents.
