A Return To Silver [High Elf Recruiting Thread]

A letter makes its way to the wayward high elves of the world, beckoning them back to Haelun'or before the future that is to come.

 

 

A nighttime storm broods above Haelun'or as rain pelts down upon all who dare linger outside on this frightful night. Lightning pierces the sky from moment to moment, breaking up the monotonous drum beat of rain upon the tiled rooftops. Despite the late hour and the horrific weather, the mali'aheral are nothing but productive. Beneath the clay roofs they toiled upon all manner of things from the composition of rocks to the eldritch arts practiced within the city.
 
There were others who toiled by the night, Elsillumiran amongst them, the Weeping Blades of Haelun'or. They took no pride in the spilling of blood for their home, but it was a necessity in this world of cruelty that lay beyond the grand Silver Wall. In hushed whispers they spoke their creed to their leader Ikur Seregon:

 

 

Larihei, kae'len cruan sulier, ay'kae vallumer'ehya
Elihnsil, Elberr, kina'ehya, laean kae wynne myumiereyae.
ay'nae'leh sirame k' taliiyhe, ay'elcihil k' cruare

Larihei, behold my pain, and weep for me
The spear, the bow and death, these bring me no joy
for your honor I bleed, for the city I suffer
with this day, I am silver and red.

 
Yet still there were others, including the elf here that writes you this very message, also toiled by night to urge his wayward kin to return to the Blessed Cihi of Silver. For there is great change coming in this lands, oh lliran, and you who remain wayward are to be scorned by the great cihi of the mali'aheral. Those who return shall be offered a grand reprieve, an opportunity for all your sins of impurity and crimes to be washed away and forgotten to the memory of Haelun'or entirely.

It is you, wayward elves, I make my appeal to. Return to Silver and return to the maehr'sae hiylun'ehya to share in the beauty and peace of Haelun'or. It is to you, wayward elves, I make my offer: Those who return shall be permitted to take the Path of Purity and wash away the impurities of days past. You shall forget your time amongst the lesser elves and revel once more in the glory of Haelun'or and as they fall into obscurity, as all nations of the lesser elves do with time, Haelun'or shall continue to glow, nae shine and light the sky brighter than the greatest of the stars in the sky.

We figured since we've been having all manner of high elven fun recently, and because we'll be having a Fabulous Ball! this weekend that now would be a more delightful time than ever to find more high elves to RP with. Furthermore, for those inclined to that kind of RP, we've been reviving our delightful Sillumir once more and this time looks like we have a good fun bunch, so I've you've ever been interested in playing a high elf Weeping Blade? But what keeps people from playing a high elf most often, hrm hrm! For one! Language. Well, really, let me tell you one thing. You really only need to know four phrases to play a high elf:

 

karin'ayla — Good Morning
ker'ayla — Good Night
van'ayla — Goodbye

maehr'sae hiylun'ehya — Progress and health.
