In-Character:

-Character Name: Rivell Gordian

-What is your Race?: Human

-Biography:

In an ordinary house in an ordinary hamlet, so putrid in its ordinarity, Rivell was born. The farmhands and blacksmiths' sons didn't take to Rivell. They ignored him. Picked on him, even. In turn, he found them dull. So gray and lifeless and sucked dry of any ambition, perfectly content to see the length of their lives blend together in a nameless, faceless stretch of insignificance. Unable to accept that his parents were in fact his parents, and taunted by dreams and hopes of wizards taking him away from this dreary reality, he ran away.

He was taken in by an old librarian who had found him reading the many books day after day. Rivell worked as an assistant, indexing the many books and copying the ones that were about to crumble to new paper. It was in this way that he had gotten to read so much. By the time he reached adulthood, he had the knowledge of a much older man, but coupled with typical youthful arrogance. When the librarian died, Rivell vanished, and kept himself alive for the years to come by petty theft, off-hand cores and, on a rare occasion, waylaying of innocent travelers.

But recently, Rivell refound his ambition, and set to the city of Al'Khazar to claim what he was due.

-Character Age: 33

-Character Appearance: White cloak that covers his eyes, and common copper trinkets (such as a necklace) for jewelry. He hopes to switch this for something more fitting of his person soon.

-Character Personality: Being more intelligent and far more educated (with little patience to pretent otherwise) than the quibbling peasents he hates to call his kin, his very justified disdain makes him come off to the aforementioned peseants as haughty or arrogant. Apart from this, he shall feign modesty and acceptance towards individuals whenever he considers it useful, and shall even respect those who have proven themselves to far exceed the average farmer in brightness.

Other than that, Rivell considers a promise as unbending, but exploits his linguistic talent to keep everything he commits to cryptic and ambiguous.

-Your ambitions: Rivell only desires the things that should have been rightfully his already: a life of wealth and luxury, accomodated and pampered by the laborers and commoners who are blessed to call themselves his servants. Ideologically, Rivell would see the clearly outdated monarchy be swapped for the far better meritocracy, where those with brains think for those without.

-Can your character read or write?: Like the best of them

-Can your character mine?: Only when he had to.

-Are you a capable builder?: While it would be much preferred if he could spend his talents designing and leave the labor to the less valuable strength of his peers, he has found that these oafs seem unable (and often unwilling) to follow even the simplest orders for him to realize his grand design. As such, he shall often construct and repair his living quarters himself.

-Can you wield a sword?: He would rather abstain from the rough asperity of the battlefield, but cannot deny the core necessity of ridding the world of its pests every now and then.

-Enjoy Farming?: Not at all.

-Does your character have any special skills?: No
