Carlo Barone snorts as he reads the first letter before throwing it into the small fire beside his desk.

 

"Fool."

 

He mutters as he opens the next letter. His eyes glint as he spots the silver seal.

 

"Ah, high elves are my favourite of the pointy eared ones. I have always found them the most. . . reasonable."

 

He nods as he reads through the letter.

 

"This seems appropriate."

 

Carlo pulls out a piece of parchment and scribbles for a few seconds in blood red ink before handing it to the exotic bird on his desk. The bird takes the letter and immediately flies off.

 

It can be seem that the letter reads,

 

To Avern'dionne,

I would love to meet over a drink in Haelun'or at the soonest opportunity, I am currently slightly busy at the time being but will be able to meet in the next few days. I have roughly ten small carts of sand which I could transport in multiple trips over a short time,
