What’s the rule you agree with the most?: The disallowance of discrimination or prejudice oocly, if you were allowed to discriminate respect would die and respect is soemthing all human being should have for eachother, you must be allowed to be who you are even if its seen as ''out of the ordinary''. So i think that this rule is an amazing must to keep respect and fun on any server.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I got reccomended by Themeparkkid due to us having a good RP experience on some other server but that server violating the rule that i agree with so i decided to come take a look here.

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is becoming somethign or soemone else. You play the life of the creature you are. Everything i would type out Icly is said and done by my character not by me. I am the character on the server

What is metagaming?: Using Out of Character information for In character advantages. for example the forums or skype information and i'd suddenly know it icly. thats Metagaming

What is powergaming?: Being over powered, basically your character is the strongest and best in anythign and everything. You trained swordsmanship one day? Well now youre the master of awesome swordfighting of world. That is powergaming you are instantly the best in any and everything you do

 

In-Character Information

Character’s name: Bertrand Duinmayer

Character’s gender: Male

Character’s race: Human, Highlander

Character’s age: 28 years old

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): *I opened my eyes and stared at the bedstead ceiling, hearing my mother in the kitchen rummaging around and my father whistling as he was working the field.*

My sister ran into the room and started poking me. ''Bertrand, Bertrand wake up, mother is taking us to town to see the soldiers!'' I'am awake Orella, go tell mother i'll be ready shortly.

*i got up and clothed myself in my tipical Marine blue tunic, brown belt with pouch and my gray boots. I also put on some gray linen legwrappings to support my legs more on the trip, and i walked into the kitchen getting a slice of bread and an apple shoved into my hands*

"Come Berty we have to be quick otherwise the soldiers will be gone'' Orella they- *i yawned* They won't....

*i put the apple in my pouch, walked to the door and opened it; letting my mother and Orella out first* Time to go... 

*I waved at Father and followed the rest of my family to town while eating my bread*

 

*Thirty minutes later we arrived and found a place next to the buildings to watch the parade of soldiers go by*

''Brother, isn't this amazing. I want to be one of them horseriders when i'am as big as mother!''

*I patted Orella's head* We'll see about that.

*i watched the regiment of archers go past, their capes dancing in the wind, the shafts of their arrows shining in the sunlight and i realised... I wan't to be an archer*

Mother, i'am headed home.. to err- Help father! *i started running home and arrived, exhausted and shouting*

Father, father! I finally realised what i'll be! I'am joining the army. I'll be an archer. 

''*My father looked up and smiled slightly*'Son... The army is dangerous, i undertstand that you find it fascinating but realise the dangers...''

I realise father but wouldn't you be proud of me if i'd fight for the lords, earn glory and honour for our family.

''*father sighed* I must think about this... Please don't ask an old man to decide this quickly and help him tend the crops..''

*I nodded and walked to the shed to get some tools*

''{The boy doesn't know what he's doing... So young..}''

*That afternoon i helped father till dinner, as always...*

 

 

[3 months later]

And master William, like that? *i asked the hunter, smiling at him*

''Well boy, your father was right. A capable young man but... *he patted my back* One with much to learn, now try and center the arrow and concentrate on the target, forget what is around you and become the arrow. Only then can a man hit his target''

*I pulled the string back, took a deep breath, aimed and released the string; the arrow missed the center*

Oh well...

 

[That pretty much sums up the childhood of Bertrand Duinmayer, the boy farmed and trained but now he is out to become what he wants...]

 

But his childhood is not all Bertrand has done, from the day his story as a child ends he has learned a lot, like this one time...

The boat rocked up and down, Bertrand and Angelica sat on the deck, talking about how their new lives would be, hoping that where they would land would be a good place, without extremist leaders... A safe place for their child.

A monk approached the pair and asked them if they knew where this ship was going. Neither ha dany idea and the monk explained that it was a trade vessel on its way to the land of Athera, where it will drop off all passengers. Bertrand having no idea where the land was asked the monk for more information and what he recieved was a book. A book about the land, It read of Elves and their subspecies. Something new to Bertrand, only having lived with Humans and ever spoken to humans. He read through the book with great interest reading about places like San Vitar and Petrus>

He asked the monk if those ''elves'' were common and if there were more like it. The monk replied with a long story about the cat people the Kharajyr and their subspecies of Kha'leparda, Kha'Cheetrah, Kha'pantera and the Kha'Tigrasi. Bertrand's eyes nearly bursted out of their sockets and his ears nearly ruptured due to these creatures that seemed like they came from tales of old....

He also asked about the gods, for he knew that his own gods wouldn't be worshipped whereever they would arrive... But all this talk of religions.. Brathmordakin, Ome''echan and all these others were too much for the man to keep with him, he had to collect his thoughts and establish his family.. And then he'll see who he follows in the temple.

 

Personality Traits: He is kind and helpful but hot headed, he cares for his family and friends above all but can be annoyingly sarcastic.

Ambitions: To become a well known archer and either get a high function in a guard, or make his own mercenary band.

Strengths/Talents: Capable archer, tactical thinker, Stout, Agile (latter 2 slightly)

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Incapable of advanced melee combat, Clumsy crafter, horrible cook

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Bertrand is 5'7 tall and wieghs about 83 kilograms. He has black cut hair and brown eyes and a burn scar on his right cheek. He wears a black uniform and a quiver with red arrows on his back.

I added a bit of server lore, his background i couldn't really change so i just put that he learned some things about where he was going on the boat.
