When she was 2 years old, orcs attacked her village, killing her parents and sister, and just before she was going to be slashed into bits, her fathers friend picked her up and ran away with her. Maia had nothing but a scratch on her arm from the Orc witch is the scar on her arm today.

Pets: her fathers friends she calls Uncle Tom has 12 dogs that are ferocious but love her.
