What is your Minecraft Account Name?: CosmicWhaleShark

What is your ingame Character Name?: Phaedrus'Yar

What is your Character’s Race?: Wood Elf

Have you read and familiarized with all server rules and the villain rules?: Yup

Links to any previous villain applications (for reference, these can be from previous characters, or previously denied applications to show how you’ve improved): I've had a number of them, but I have no idea where they'd be archived.

What VA are you applying for? (Lesser Evils, Greater Evils [Greater includes Lesser by default, you don't need two applications if you apply for greater first]):

  • Theft

  • Robbery

  • Jailbreaking

  • Murder with Provocation

  • Conning/Cheating

  • Corruption

  • Slavery (selling)

  • Murder without Provocation

  • Torture

  • Slavery

Why is your character the way he/she is? What has led them to a path requiring a Villain Application?:

Phaedrus is a man of many hats, times change and to prosper so did he. Whether he's dealing with customers trying to haggle down the price of his blacksmith works because he's a wood elf, fighting alongside warriors of all sorts and in some cases commanding them, attending diplomatic summits and at some stages even having the influence to arrange them, blah blah blah, you get the point. He's extremely adaptable and while he still does grasp onto old ideals and philosophies, concepts of honor, etc. He does not let them impede him, hamper his impulses, his tendencies, not as much as he once did.

What are his/her motives? What do you plan to gain from this?:

At the core of everything, he mainly just wants to be able to secure a profitable and peaceful future for his business enterprises, his friends, and people in general really, not just his own.

What moral boundaries does your character have, if any?:

While he himself is in control, and not under another person's command, prisoners that show respect will be granted respect in turn. You can have a conversation with him over a steak in the interrogation room provided that sense of common courtesy is maintained. The point to explaining this is in situations where he is completely in control, usually, he will not make malicious moves against anyone, he won't exert his power and authority to any abusive extent. The exceptions being during times where he's had to discipline others. He's not lustful for power in that sense, but he will use it, and he'll try to exert it in the 'best' way he can.

What general kind of Villain will you be? (Bandit, Pirate, Raider, Madman, Cultist, Antihero, Destroyer Of Worlds, etc etc…):

This one.

And this one.

Open Response - Answer at least two of the open ended scenarios below. Do not powergame, metagame, or do anything else rulebreaking or unrealistic. Each scenario is designed with no particular objective in mind and is open ended deliberately. Assume your character is in each position, regardless of their normal situations:

-An elderly man with a walking stick(possibly a staff), a middle aged woman in a flowing dress, and a teenage boy with a sword hanging on his belt are walking down the road, with no others in sight that you can tell...

Phaedrus nods to each of the three individually as he passes by them. They've initiated no strife with him in their short encounter and Phaedrus has no intention to start trouble with them in turn. He continues on his way.

-You are about to head out of your house when someone starts pounding on your door frantically. You open the door to see a human woman, dress half torn, a gash across her cheek bleeding, fear in her eyes as she begs you for help. Someone has just attacked her and her sister, killing the sister, and the girl barely getting away and losing him...

Phaedrus would allow her inside for the moment, both of his homes have cellars so she would be stored away there. Should someone come looking for her, it honestly depends on who it is, to determine whether Phaedrus will keep her location secret or give her up.
