Harri 4815 Share Posted April 18, 2015 What is your Minecraft Account Name?: HBrules What is your ingame Character Name?: Dorian Hunter What is your Character’s Race?: Human Have you read and familiarized with all server rules and the villain rules?: Yes, I have. Links to any previous villain applications (for reference, these can be from previous characters, or previously denied applications to show how you’ve improved): None at all. Never played back in that time. What VA are you applying for? (Lesser Evils, Greater Evils [Greater includes Lesser by default, you don't need two applications if you apply for greater first]): Greater Evil. Why is your character the way he/she is? What has led them to a path requiring a Villain Application?: Dorian is a member of St Amyas, a Crusader for the Creatorism faith. This requires him to spread and protect his faith, however he can: Whether it be to peacefully talk to a non-beleiver and have them convert, or murder someone who insults/disgraces the faith in front of him. Whilst his belief in the Creator is slightly weaker than his comrades, he will not doubt orders from them, should they be given from a high up: namely murder, imprisonment and torture. On top of all this, he happens to have a short temper and acts rather violently/ rashly due to a rather scarring past and a history of being more anti-social and alone, so he easily jumps to conclusions and violent outcomes as they offer a much simpler solution than talking things out. What are his/her motives? What do you plan to gain from this?: Dorian's motives behind what he does are: His belief for the Creator Fear of his superiors Self satisfaction/pleasure Self defence of himself and friends. Dorian will either carry out a villainous act to defend his faith for the Creator: He tries to believe strongly about the Creator, much more so than he does currently, so he feels that if he 'carries out God's will' by punishing and purging the realm of Pagans, Heretics and the like, he'll be able to become closer to God. He also harbours a strong, ever-looming fear of his superiors amongst the Order, and what might become of him if he were to dis-obey orders, whether it be to doing press ups, to murdering non-believers. Namely, 'Grim' and Ragnar are the two main factors of this: One being an emotionless, completely devoted Knight, easily jumping to violence without a second thought, the other being a mountain of a man, always walking around with his weapon on display, able to kill three men all on his own on top of being merciless and cold. Dorian also happens to be a slight sadist, enjoying torment he brings unto foes. He occasionally loses himself in his own pleasure for torment when he either wounds an enemy in a fight or even after killing them. He'll swiftly mutilate their corpse to confirm there death, not batting an eye at the act, on top of enjoying himself when inflicting a wound, relishing the feeling of increasing the intensity of it, harming them more and more. Dorian also will step up and fight off anybody he sees as an enemy, even when he just happens to see a comrade or good friend in danger. When protecting friends, he doesn't care about what happens to the attacker, happily killing them off and saving said friend. What moral boundaries does your character have, if any?: Dorian's moral boundaries are as follows: Mercy/ Soft spot for women His Oaths he took upon joining the Order Dorian has a certain soft spot when it coms to dealing with women in violent/ malicious ways. He doesn't like to have to carry out un-savoury tasks against females and such, because it just doesn't sit well with him, and he always seems to be helping girls more than hurting them when he really should be doing something nasty to them. He's very lenient towards them and will never outright attack/harm them. He will, however, treat them without mercy should they attack him/ greatly annoy him even when he offers help. He also will not do anything that will directly conflict with the Oath's he took to join the Order, under the Creator. These include things such as Chastity and other virtues/ rules of the faith. However, Dorian may let himself slip occasionally, and break these Oaths, albeit not being a huge slip-up from time to time. What general kind of Villain will you be? (Bandit, Pirate, Raider, Madman, Cultist, Antihero, Destroyer Of Worlds, etc etc…): I don't like to use the word 'villain' here because Dorian is not a villainous character. Instead, he is just someone that doesn't always do the 'right' thing in a circumstance, albeit having good intentions. He is a Crusader/Zealot character, who has Bandit like tendencies at times. Open Response - Answer at least two of the open ended scenarios below. Do not powergame, metagame, or do anything else rulebreaking or unrealistic. Each scenario is designed with no particular objective in mind and is open ended deliberately. Assume your character is in each position, regardless of their normal situations: -An elderly man with a walking stick(possibly a staff), a middle aged woman in a flowing dress, and a teenage boy with a sword hanging on his belt are walking down the road, with no others in sight that you can tell... -You are about to head out of your house when someone starts pounding on your door frantically. You open the door to see a human woman, dress half torn, a gash across her cheek bleeding, fear in her eyes as she begs you for help. Someone has just attacked her and her sister, killing the sister, and the girl barely getting away and losing him... Dorian would take one look at the women, stunned for a second, before looking down the road at the (I presume) fleeing man. He would draw his short-sword with a frown, giving a quiet groan as he would begin to charge down the road after the fleeing murderer. As he would approach the murderer, probably tired from the struggle that had just ensued, thus making him run at less than full speed, Dorian would dive forwards towards the man. going to tackle him shoulder first and clatter to the floor with him, struggling to land on top and pin him down beneath him. Dorian struggles against the man, his armour helping reduce the brunt of the wild blows sent his way, eventually managing to pin him down beneath him, shifting his legs either side of the man's torso to pin him down between his thighs. The man brings around the weapon (let's say it's a knife here), the knife thrusting towards his left arm, digging into the chain-mail and piercing through, half cutting into his arm. Dorian yelps out, his yelp turning into a vicious growl as a snarl takes over his face. He bashes his right hand, equipped with his blade, down towards the man's face, connecting the hilt with his forehead, making the attacks on Dorian cease for a moment, whilst he is dazed. Dorian twists the blade's grip around in his hand, pointing the blade downwards as he thrusts it down towards his neck. The blade goes in, making a sickening squelch as blood immediately begins to pour out from around it. The man tries to scream out, but only a gurgling sound and a splutter of blood comes out from his mouth, spraying up onto Dorian's white tabard. He slowly drags the blade down through his throat, down to his collarbone, leaving a gaping slit along his throat/chest area. He rips the blade out to the side, tearing through the flesh of his shoulder, spattering blood along the cobbles. The man, laying near death on the road, had long passed out from the shock of the pain, slowly bleeding out below. Dorian stands up slowly, blood dripping from the tip of his blade, his tabard slowly becoming a crimson red stain. Through his panting, he turns around and looks at the injured woman, standing in bewilderment a littles behind him. "Sorry... about your sister..." He pants, straightening up and rubbing his stabbed shoulder. "I think I need a drink..." He sighs, shuffling off back towards his house. -Sitting in a bakery, you hear two men talking in hushed voices upstairs. Sneaking up the stairs, you see a figure robed in black and a Guard. The robed figure is revealing plans to the Guard about an upcoming rebellion. You can’t tell if the robed man is betraying the rebels, or if it is the Guard betraying the town... -There is a knocking on your door, and when you open it there is an angry-looking man standing there, and a Olog standing behind him, eyeing you coldly. The man tells you that you owe 1000 minas in taxes to the local Royals, and had best pay up... -Two Guards are trying to break up a fight between your acquaintance and two Humans. Your friend slays one of the Guards as he approaches, causing the other Guard as well as the Humans to pull out their weapons... Dorian walks out of the Red Rose tavern, stretching his arms behind his head with a yawn. He blinks once, looking around lazily, his mood quickly changing from tired to alert in a moment. He spots his Order-man Brother Tven fighting off three men, eyeing them up as all four of them ready there weapons. Dorian groans slightly, drawing his short-sword quickly. He stalks over behind the last guard standing, rolling his shoulders lightly. He raises his blade quickly, jerking it horizontally in a slash towards the un-suspecting guard's neck, it digging into his flesh with a sickening squelch. Dorian yanks the blade back towards him, the edge cutting at the Guard's already punctured throat, horribly wounding his neck, as he falls to the ground, nearly dead as he hits it. The two other Humans jerk their heads towards Dorian, their eyes widening at the sight of their only 'ally' falling. "What's this all about Initiate..." Dorian grumbles to Tven, walking over to his side as he keeps his eye on the two opponents. "Heretics..." Tven spits, the word sending Dorian into a growling fit. "Haven't had a good fight for a while..." Dorian chuckles grimly, darting forth and sending a vertical slash downwards towards his shoulder. A sword comes up to parry the blow, the two blades sliding along each other as they lock. Tven charges for the other man, only for him to turn tail and run, not fancying his chances against St Amyas. Dorian drives his left knee upwards towards the man's groin, doubling him over from the low blow. Tven simultaneously brings an elbow down on the back of his head, knocking him to his hands and knees. Dorian reaches down, grabbing the Human by the front of his shirt as he recovers from the blow, hoisting him up to look at him dead in the face, eye to eyes. "A heretic, huh?" He grins maliciously, picking him off his feet and slamming back against the wall of the tavern, making sure his head collides first. "What'd he do then Tven?" He said, a bit too upbeat sounding for such a situation. "Saw some guy spouting Heresy. Heard a song and started singing along." He states bluntly from behind the pair. Dorian nods once, changing his grip so he grabs the man's shirt with just his left hand, outstretching his right behind himself. "Knife." He says simply, grabbing at one as Tven places it in his palm. "Now, we live by a little code..." He said quietly, bringing the knife up to the petrified man's ear. "Hear no evil." He grunts with a smirk, slashing down and severing his ear from his head. The man howls out, clutching up at the spot where his ear should've been. "And see no evil." He states again, jabbing the knife into the man's eye, tearing it away after puncturing it. "Let's go." He grumbles, dropping the man with a thud, leaving him to his screams as he turns around, heading off with Tven in tow.
