Have you applied to this server before? (Please link all past applications): I attempted to apply to this server about a year and a half ago on a different account however I cannot locate the application but I do know that I was denied

 

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: I have read and I fully agree with the rules

 

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: I joint most agree with the following two rules: Cyber bullying is strictly prohibited, and the prohibition of destructive hacks. I believe these rules are important as if not upheld it can completely ruin someone's experience during their playing of LotC.

 

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): I understand the rules clearly!

 

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I found out through youtube a long time ago but have been reminded of it recently by a group of my close friends who have been getting involved in it recently.

 

Definitions

 

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you put yourself in the position of your character and make decisions or actions, such as speech or combat, based on your character's traits and characteristics rather than yourself.

 

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is the act of using strategy or action based on knowledge from outside the in-game universe rather than choosing the action that would fit your character. Such as if your friend told you there was an ambush waiting round the corner and you purposely avoided it when in your character's position she/he would not know of the ambush and continue onward unknowingly.

 

What is powergaming?:  Powergaming is a style of gaming where you focus entirely on maximising your characters progress towards a goal. A power gamer often sacrifices the role play element of the game in favor of becoming stronger and in general make the game less fun for other players. It can also be when you decide the outcome of an action such as *Character 1 shoots an arrow directly into Character 2 and he dies*

 

In-Character Information

 

Character’s name: Harré Los'Lariuth

Character’s age: 70

 

Biography: Harré grew up in a small forest east of Cerulin. He spent a lot of time out hunting with his father however his father shunned him for the fact he prefered to use a sword over a bow. It was tradition in his family to use bows but as he refused to he was neglected by his dad who fed him rations and spent most of his money on a variety of booze. His mother had passed away before he could remember so he never had much of a family. When he came of age his dad was extremely drunk and had became quite violent, he struck Harré’s face with his own sword - this would leave a permanent scar; a reminder of where he came from - and kicked him out the house and told him never to return.

 

He became a vagrant who roamed around, refusing help from others. He became self dependant, hunting and cooking his own meals, practicing his blade skills when he had the chance. One night when he was sleeping out as he usually did he was approached by a gang of thieves who stole everything he owned, when he awoke the next day he had decided to become a man of justice; a great man who would do everything in his power to help those in need. He would often step into disputes to try and stop them but his rash thinking and sharp tongue often caused more problems than it solved however. He has been doing the same thing for several years and has decided it's time to try something more and attempt to join the military so he can work his way up and have some influence over the peace of the land rather than being a small time freelancer who slept in the trees every night.

 

Personality Traits: Daring, Mischievous, Stubborn, Lively, Spontaneous.

 

Ambitions: To become an Elf of justice and help those in need.

 

Strengths/Talents: Sharp tongued - Good at persuading, Stealthy. Has minor talent with a sword as he practices whenever he gets a chance to. Has a kind heart under it all.

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Lack of foresight, Spontaneous so doesnt think through his actions, Short tempered. Due to his experience with his dad he hold prejudice against other elves, despite being one himself it can take him a long time to get acquainted with them.

 

Appearance: Scar across the face, Stands around 6 feet tall and is quite thin.
