What is metagaming?:Knowing something that your character has no way of knowing like someones age 

What is powergaming?:Powergaming is maximizing the power a character in a roleplaying game has by creating an in a sense "perfect" character.

Finwe Twigherd. As a elf boy lived in the forest of Adrallan. him and the Twigherds were NOT rich by any means. But all Finwe's life his father had to work extra hard to fend for the family. As Finwe got older he his father died and Finwe went on a Voyage to the land of men in petrus wandering and looking for work was what he did for weeks. one day Finwe was sitting on some steps as he here some Guards talking of an archery tournament. Finwe listened in."yup i'm going to win the Golden trophy' i have this the bag" bragged the big mouth Guard. Finwe thought to himself  "If i could win that and get the Golden trophy i'd be set for life maybe even settle down" two days later. Finwe got his bow and arrows' it was the day of the tournament. when Finwe got here he signed up for the tournament. Finwe pulled back is bow he remembered his family and the days that they had no food and water. And as he relest his arrow he hit the mark, it  was a bullseye. the crowd went wild Finwe won! he took the Golden Quiver as his prise. he thought about what he would do next. he would return to his home and family, maybe get marryed only time could tell.
