What is roleplaying?: It is when you take the role of a person in the game and you act as the person would
What is metagaming?: metagaming is going beyond the character and using outside things to affect the game, like if someone gives you info in OOC and you use it in rp as an example, doing that would be metagaming.
What is powergaming?: Powergaming is a style of interacting with games to maximize progress towards a specific goal, to the exclusion of other considerations like getting stuck in a battle or a talk with others.
 
In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.
 
Character’s name: Anthron
Character’s gender: Male
Character’s race: Wood Elf
Character’s age: 45
Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): (My paragraphs are usually 3 sentences long)
     When Anthron was young his parents had gone from their home to go seek their own destinies in Athera and left him to fend for himself in near the gate of their town.   Once they left him there he looked for refuge and found a hollow hole in a tree.   The only time he went into the town was when the gate was open to get some food to last him a few days.
     After about 15 years of being in the hollow he had a strong connection to the tree he lived in and had started to grow some berries near his tree to eat when the gates were not open.    One day when he was about 20 years old a wolf's pup wandered over to his tree and ate some of his food, eventually he caught the wolf pup eating his food and attempted to tame it.   After a while the pup began to grow an attachment to Anthron and eventually became close friends to each other.
     When he was 35 his wolf had died and for about 5 years he was mourning the loss of his best friend.   During that time he became shy around people and most of the time stayed in his hollow until the age of 41.    After his time of mourning he had left his hollow and looked for a new place to live in the forest and after 4 years of searching he was told by an old man to go to a boat which takes him to the isles of vailor where his journey begins.
