I don't remember seeing it in the rules or roleplaying, but I was wondering if I made a monk character would I discuss it in the backstory or can I even make my character a monk.

you can be a wandering monk, but can not have magic.

 

The monks that have magic are a locked magic and you have to get in with them (donno how atm)

 

But i say go for being a traveling monk or priest ^^

Uh, yes we left Athera but the monk's of the cloud temple are still a thing.
