How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I found a youtube channel called “Petrigames” and when I saw some of his older videos I saw the server.

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is pretending to be a character that you created, seeing a fantastical world through their eyes.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using information that your character does not know in rp, as if he did know it.
An example could be knowing that a girl is 15 when the only words you’ve spoken to her were “Hi” and she has only said “Hi” back.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is essentially making the actions of your character definite, such as saying “Mark kills Jack.” instead of “Mark lunges his knife towards jack.”

 

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: Eric Blythe.

Character’s gender: Male.

Character’s race: Human.

Character’s age: 26

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Eric was born during the end of the Schism wars. His father was busy fighting against the dwarves when he was born, only his mother and a nurse to birth him. Eric was a nice young lad, with dark hair and green eyes. He would often be seen picking fights with other kids, often being beaten by his father after brawling with his neighbor's children. However, his father’s discipline led to him becoming diligent in his work, and gained plenty of good habits that helped him become the man he was today. Eric's father loathed the Dwarves, having fought them  in several wars with Oren, and his demeanor towards other races wore off on Eric. This led him to get into many fights with the poor dwarves and elves who inhabited the roads, and one time was thrown into a knife fight with a frisky elf, and was left with a scar across his cheek.
Eric’s family was killed on the boats to the Isles of Vailor, his father falling overboard and his mother being killed by a starving thief who saw she had a loaf of bread in her hand. Eric was devastated by this, and in the end fell into a depression about their death. Only after living as a beggar for a year did Eric accomplish anything, and decided that he was to join some guild to prove himself to the souls of his parents, who gazed upon him from the realm of the Creator expectantly.
 

Personality Traits:

Eric is wrathful, his anger sometimes very prevalent in his actions. His face tends to get beat red in the face of adversity and his nose flares to the point where he looks silly. Very few people take him seriously, and is often mocked before he resorts to phyiscal violence, and often wins his fights. He is zealous, a tough soldier, and very diligent in his work.

Ambitions:

Eric Desires to prove himself, recover his life, and one day become the captain of a guard.

Strengths/Talents:

Eric is good at swordfighting, having been fighting for most of his life in the streets of Petrus.
He enjoys tinkering with things, making fantastical creations out of junk.
Eric is a brave man, tending to show his courage in stressful situations.

Weaknesses/Inabilities:

Eric is a rash person, often letting his anger influence his decisions and therefore usually making the wrong one.
He is not very intelligent, and is often made fun of for his blunders.
He lacks any skill at all with a bow.

Eric has a tendency to catch illnesses, and is often sick.
 

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight):

Eric is 5’10”, weighing some 190 Lbs. He is of a very muscular build, having the look of an oaf. However, he has oddly thin, long fingers, which allow him to manipulate trinkets very easily. He has dark brown hair and green eyes. He has a long, jagged scar on his right cheek.
